~ Ghost ~

My soul is here, my soul is strong. . .
Dead is what I am, yet alive is how I act. . .

Among the sandy shore and the crashing of the waves, there sat a still figure. The figure was slender and elegant, clearly female. Her face was pale ivory and impassive, her once shimmering leaf-green eyes still their bright color, but somehow duller. If one looked close enough, they would be able to notice that the female's figure was half-translucent, and illuminent as though her entire being was glowing with a strange silvery light. Colette, or better known as Lottie, was a ghost. And although she was dead, there was a soft smile gracing the pretty features of her face. The female floated among the sand, not walking, but floating by a few inches above the ground in an oddly graceful, otherworldly sense.

She saw a few others, and she would then gaze over to them, her hand raising upwards within a wave.
".... Hello." Lottie's smooth soprano voice chimed lightly, like the rippling of a river. Her doll-like eyelashes fluttered gently as she blinked. Lottie could not feel the coldness of the ocean water, but then again, she could not feel the warmth of the sunlight or the kiss of the sand. Physically, she felt nothing as a ghost, whether it was to be pain or exhaustion. Lottie's feelings were all based on emotions. And though she was smiling, a strange sense of meloncholy seemed to be held across the delicate features of her face.
