Hey. Guys. Quick thing. Remember the Attributes from Shinobi Nations? Should we do something like that here? Each person gets 2 that they can use for odd things. Like, having all of their kidou EXPLODE like Renji xD

I liked the Attributes actually. And it's not like it'd be bad if we had em. But usually Zanpakutou give abilities like that. So we'd have abilities outside of zanpakutou powers.

Attributes. They don't give you powers, but perhaps an increase in stats, reduction in training paragraph requirements, perhaps a special increase in AC earned, or, like Renji, just something odd that makes your kidou not work as expected.

I don't know about the attribute thing though. Adding too much mechanics side could push down the role-playing. I understand the NEED for the mechanics, so we don't have people underestimating or overestimating their own character(s), but the more we add, the more it's a GAME and not a role-play. Just saying.

Vuc vuc vuc xD Dude, Attributes are like this:

2 attributes per character:

  • Kidou Destabilization ~ All kidou, when used, gain an increase in power by a factor of 3 and explode. Cannot aim or control kidou, and often harms user.
  • Epic Poledancing ~ May poledance in such a fashion that when dancing the dirty none, no matter gender or persuasion, may look away.


Get the idea? Its just something to augment and better define the character.

Or another one

  • Built Like a Truck ~ Due to the frame of his body, character has a +1 to Defense because his skin is just so damned hard to hurt! D=
  • Spongy Brain ~ Brain is able to absorb knowledge and experience like a sponge. Gain an additional 100 AC from each spar and fight.

I wouldn't mind, as long as we can't get too redonk with them.

I still want stats to take a backseat to roleplaying.
