Ashriel looked at him softly. "Look at your shoulder. Think about where I am seated, about where your head was laying. Look at me. Am I scathed at all?" She questioned him simply. "An even if I were, do you think I would care?"

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn had to admit, she had a point. She was pretty safe, sleeping with him around. He could however, answer her last question. "I should think you would care if you were scathed. Being hurt is not exactly a fun thing." He told her dryly. He stood up, stretching carefully and wincing as he moved his shoulder. Well, that was gonna hurt for at least a few more hours. "Now stop arguing and get going home."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at her. "I'm going, I'm going. But I can't exactly move fast, nor can I use the main roads. I am not in the mood to deal with animal control again." He told her, moving to the edge of the stack of crates they were sitting on. Slowly, biting back a hiss, he began lowing himself down. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed, getting down easily. Her stomach rumbled again once she was standing on her feet, looking at him. Honestly, she might give off the impression of being angry, but really, she was only worried about him. She didn't care much about herself...only about everyone else around her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn breathed a sigh of relief once he was down. "Sometimes battle fever is a good thing....." He muttered sullenly. He glanced up at Ashriel, hearing her stomach grumbling. Gently, he butted her with his head. "Go get something to eat, then get to school. I'm going home to sleep." He told her easily. He didn't want to test his control over his human form in a public setting. Chances were, he would lose it at the worst possible time. Better to play it safe and stay home. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him, rolling her eyes. "That means that we are going the same place." Partially this was because she wanted to watch him for the day, and partially because of the fact that she never went out to eat. For good reason, of course. No use in wasting money on over priced food when you have some at home to make.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes in return. "I meant that you should probably go ahead if you want to get to school on time. I'm going to be awhile, taking my time." He set off at a slow walk, favoring his right foreleg, the one that's shoulder was cut open. A toddler learning to walk could have easily kept up with his pace, he was going that slow. It was clear that while he only had a few major injuries, he was bruised pretty much from head to toe. It was only to be expect though, after taking on a whole pack by himself. But what else could he do? He hadn't been about to let them hurt Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head lightly. "No, I'd rather stay with you. What if something happens?" She said simply, looking at her companion. She'd fully expected the limp, actually, as she had seen that injury last night. Sadly, she had been too worried about his mental state to properly treat it, like she hoped to once they got home. If she missed, she missed. It was for his well-being.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn paused, midstride. He looked back at Ashriel in confusion. "What? What happened to your whole gung-ho, can't miss school for anything, attitude?" He asked in confusion. Last time he'd kept her home, she'd fought it. Now she volunteered? It was confusing to say the least. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shrugged. "This time it is best for you for me to miss." She thought of this as a decent reason. "Before, it was only going to affect me if I stayed home, or rather, only going to cause you to miss. Also, it seems pointless to me to not go to school if there is not a large possibility of it actually affecting others."

Ashriel paused, thinking for a moment before moving to walk with Raevyn at his pace. "It made perfect sense to me." She said simply, shrugging. All she meant to say by saying this was that, as soon as it was her sick or injured, she would push to go to school.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Whatever you say." Raevyn muttered in agreement. He limped along slowly, not feeling up to arguing with Ashriel right now. He walked for awhile before laying down, panting. He needed a break before he could finish the walk home. Though it wasn't normally a far or long walk, in his state it felt like a marathon. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn softly when he stopped. Her eyes watched him as he rested, her own breath deep. No, it wasn't a long walk. But she knew that it had to be had for him. "When we get back, I'm going to clean and dress those wounds properly." She said with a determination that couldn't exactly be fought with.
