OOC: Ugh. . . sorry I've missed so much. I had graduation and party and stuff last night, and today I slept, and stuff like that.
IC: Jamie turned as he saw a hound leaping through the air towards him. He pulled a flashlight out of his pocket and focused it towards the hounds eyes, brightening it. The hound wimpered, and Jamie sidestepped it as it landed heavily next to him. He kicked it heavily in the side, and then turned to run.
"Dani, get out and run towards the mansion!." He yelled, and went off to find the other students. He rounded up Gen and Bobby first, and then rounded up the younger students. He got them outside, and he was about to follow then out when he heard Teagan's scream.
He charged at the hound, and tackled it, getting it off of her. He hit it over the head with his flashlight, and then blinded it. He looked over at Teagen. "Are you ok? If you are, let's get out of here!"

Teagan gasped, breathing heavy as she stood up and looked at Jamie.
"Yeah, I'm okay." She said, nodding.
What the hell is going on here!?! She thought, looking quickly
around the room. She could see three more Hounds running their way.
"Come on, we'd better get the 'ell out of 'ere before we get caught."
She said, looking over at Jamie, before running towards the door once again.
It wasn't easy though, finding herself resorting to blowing out poisonous
clouds of smoke at every Hound that threatened to stop her.
She tore off her shoes, knocking one of them on the head.

Jack_Hawksmoor The original Grifter hated his powers. He saw them as an abberration, and something that he didn't need to succeed. However, as a Hound, Grifter was quite a bit less proud, and quite a bit more willing to do what had to be done to win.
He raised his hand, and closed it. The resulting telekinetic force was directed, not at Rio, but within, causing a singularity to be formed at the center of his being, and an incredible implosive force drawing inward, attempting to take whatever organs or machines may be in his foe, and reduce them to pulp.

Jamie knew that they would need a distraction for the Hounds to let them go. <********, this is gonna take alot. . . He briefly thought to himself. He started bending the light, so he and his group appeared to dissapear, while a fake group ran out another door. Jamie smiled briefly as he saw the hounds dive at the fake group, and get frustrated as they went through the images.
But knowing the hounds would probably be able to find them anyway, Jamie knew how vital it was to seize the precious seconds he had just bought them. "Alright everyone, let's get out of here!" He yelled, and they started sprinting along, Jamie taking up the back.

One of the stragglings hounds realizes where the real group is and tries to jump at them, but a hand sticks out as it jumps past it, and goes through the hound. The hound drops and doesn't get up as the hand drops a brain and heart to the floor and turns invisible again. good, they're getting away, smart kids, i just have to make sure they get out all right, which means, i have to be the center of attention, great.
Rio suddenly appeared in the middle of the room, right in plains sight for all the hounds and Ahab to see, his hands and lower arms soaked in the blood of their fellow mutant hunters. "Care to dance?" he asked Ahab, to which he responded, "My, this is so unlike you Phantom, to just leave yourself open to so many threats, and give away your position. Tsk, tsk, your new found caring feelings toward others survival have clouded your once perfect mind, don't kill him!" he said to the hounds as as they started to move in and Rio took up a martial arts stance, his hands phase in, locking them in a odd position. "Hydra wants him alive! We need that precious brain of his."
Damn, i'm not going to be able to take these things out this way, but if i go off their sensors, they'll just attack the kids, so i'm stuck with this option. God, how long does it take the X-men to notice this crap going on? My guts still don't feel right either. Man, this is just a great day isn't it?
"Man," Zack said from inside the manshion, "I just have this feeling that Rio's in trouble, i can't shake it."

OOC: I feel really hypocritical [sp?] using an entire post to say this, but I just wanted to point out to Plainswalker, that you can really merge those two posts. Theres no reason you can't just post once and change font colors. And I mean that in the least critical way possible.

LordoftheMonkeys OOC: I feel really hypocritical [sp?] using an entire post to say this, but I just wanted to point out to Plainswalker, that you can really merge those two posts. Theres no reason you can't just post once and change font colors. And I mean that in the least critical way possible. [[nah, that's fine, i just forgot, thanks for pointing that out, i fixed it. but man, i'm tired, i was waiting to see if Jack was gonna post one more time, to try to challange Rio again, or find someway to make Grifter survive, which would be interesting. but i guess not, so it's sleepy time for me]]

With his back to the wall that had been destroyed, it took Matt a few moments to realise what was going on. He felt something tearing at his back, the leather coat offering very little protection, but it didn't last for long. His powers were tied into his mind, whatever he could think of, within reason, he could recreate. But no comical figures this time. A fairly large, although crude, hammer swiped out of nowhere, the golden light slamming into the Hound's side and knocking it several feet away.
Shrugging out of his coat, he managed to catch it in time to see tears all across the back half.
"Do you know how much that cost me!"
Golden wings now in full sight, he couldn't care less about trying to fit in. A square formed around the Hound he had just hit, covering its entire body, and Matt ran straight past the makeshift cage. Can't use too much, not like I'm a Duracell... He caught up to Jamie and the others, both human and mutant, and immediately started threatening the humans.
"Run faster you stupid morons unless you want to be hung by your ankles in the middle of those... Things!" He wouldn't do it, but how could they know? After all, he was a mutant, not to be trusted.

OOC: Jamie has two of my prisoners so I'm going to take care of that right now smile (Not saying that anything has been done wrong, I'm just clarifying why this post is going to be how it is.)
IC:
"Run, run as fast as you can..." A giant lizard like man said as he jumped out of a tree and thudded into the ground infront of the likes of Teagan and Gen, "You two be on my list. Good night."
He puffed out noxious fumes that were half the time as powerful as Teagan's. Both girls passed out onto the ground before Jamie could do anything about it, "You boy, are not on my list. So goodbye."
The lizard man swiped his tail at Jamie attempting to knock him to the ground as he scooped up both girls into his arms and took them away. He hit a small gadget on his belt, a mini teleportation device and ported about twenty yards away from their location. The prisoners were theirs.
OOC: If Teagan and/or Gen wake up, they will have power dampeners on and will be in a prisoner's truck until the rest of them are caught.

Rio continued to fight the hounds by himself as the jump and clawed at him. With the percision that had taken him years to achieve, he phased out his body as one hound attacked him, phased in his hand, smacking the same hound in the face, and then ducked under the next hound, bringing his fist into it's stomach, he phased in fist crunching bone as he used the hound's own momentum to throw it across the room into a wall, collapsing it on the hound.
Just as he did that though, a hound hit him in the back and caused him to fall to the ground, which he phased through. "Getting a little tired are we?" Ahab said in glee of seeing a mutant a troublesome and powerful as Phantom, starting to wear undrneath his creations. "You disapoint me Phantom, from what i've heard, you should have been able to kill all of these hounds by now, i guess all those years have made you soft. I will make sure if you are captured that i am the one who operates, as pay back for you steeling my beautiful creations from me."
"You piece of s**t," Rio said as he stuck his phased in arm out a close-lined a hound, knocking it out against the pavement. "Zack never belonged to you, neither did Blake, Jessica, Kelly or Yoko. They belong to no one, and if you don't shut up, i might just kill you before i let them have their way with you.

ooc: ack, so much action!! i had a little outting last night, and then what i THOUGHT was an interview this morning. (they wanted me to work but failed ot mention that in the call) noko had a storm so she was outtie too.

Gen tried to hold her breath but the fumes were too strong. She collapsed seeing Regina grab a group of students, but not her. Why not her? Was she too far. She knew that Regina saw her, she even cried out... but... why... not ... her.... and she lost conciousness.
Regina cried out from the shadows as she saw Gen and Teagan taken by the lizard hound. "Damnit.... we can't let our new recruits get taken so easily! But these guys are strong..."
She wasn't sure what to do. Thinking on her feet without a plan was difficult and with Penny running around doing her own thing, Regina felt at a loss. A group of students to her left were struggling to get out of the gym doors while a couple of her house mates ran from yet another mutant on their tails.
Realizing that the other mutants weren't after the normal humans, she exited from the shadows and grabbed the hands of a couple of the kids. "Grab each other, anyone that lives with us, and hold on tight! I'm going to get us out of here!"
Once done, she pulled them into the shadows and struggled to get them to the mansion. It was too much of a load though. She was used to one or two people, but half a dozen was over her limit. They ended up away from the gym at least.
"Everyone get to the mansion, warn the professor and anyone still there!" Regina explained, kneeling on the ground. "GO!" She saw their frightened eyes and half of them tried to help her. "NO, just get there, I need to get more out." Letting herself fall back into the shadows, she took a few breaths to get herself back in control. ~Seems I still need work...~ she thought, sighing and heading back to the gym.

Rio was running short on breath as he struck multiple times to a hound's head and chest with blinding reflexes, hitting major pressure points he had long since memorized. The hound dropped to the ground, struggling to breath from the obstructed blood flow Rio had caused. Damn, they just keep soming. How many did he bring? If that damn Grifter scumbag hadn't crunched my guts, this would be so much easier, but i really need help, i can't let them capture me or the kids, if they get hold of me, the only one with knowldge of weapon Alpha is gone.

"Well, at least you got a message out to Xavier," Penny said slamming a punch bowl into the back of a hound who just wouldn't die. It had her number and wouldn't let go of it. SHe saw another come bounding out of a doorway towards a boy who was trying to push through the crowd at an exit [OOC BLAIR].
"Oh no you don't," Penny grabbed a chair and told Regina to shadow them over there. She did and Penny popped out of the shadows to slam the hound with a chair. Of course the hound promptly turned around and growled something that sounded like You're on the list.
"What the hell?" Penny said as the lizard guy starting pumping out noxious fumes. Penny grabbed onto Regina choking and she pulled them both back into shadows. Regina didn't have enough time to grab Blair's arm. The lizard man had him out of arms reach in no time.
Penny's healing started to kick in to pump the fumes out of her lungs, "They know who they want? What list?"
"I don't think I want to find out," Regina said and two hounds started heading their way, "Why do I have a feeling they know how I work?"
"Because we're on a mysterious list," Penny said and they came out of shadows to confront the hounds persuing them.
OOC: Blair is now captured. When you wake up, you are currently in a prison car with power dampeners with Gen and Teagan.
