Bavira shook his head. "D-don't worry about it. Just...just get better..." He felt anguish over the loss of their eggs, but he was more concerend about Jack. They could always make more eggs. But if he lost Jack...

Jack nodded and put an arm around Bavira and kissed his cheek. "Will you help me to the bunks and bed..maybe patch me up?" Jack asked.

Bavira nodded. "Sute thing." He carefully picked Jack up and carried him to their bunk.

Bavira tried his best to keep Jack calm, even if he, himself, wasn't. Like this, he couldn't heal Jack properly. He called for Kenshin, who came to their side rapidly. The knight saw what was going on and began healing Jack immediately. In the meantime, Bavira tried to calm Jack down. "It can't be helped. We didn't know this was going to happen..."

Bavira wiped Jack's tears away. "No, it isn't. You did what you were supposed to do..." He looked down to see that Kenshin had finished healing Jack. "Perhaps...it just wasn't the right time for them to be born...however that may have come about... But think about it this way... If I had lost you...then there would have been no way to have more children. And Fay...she would be without a mother..."

Jack nodded and hugged Bavira, burying his face in he others neck, still sniffling. "Where's Fay?" Jack asked after a minute. He hadn't seen here when he came back nor when he went into the bunk room.

Bavira smiled as Jack finally calmed down. "She's with Eric. Didn't want her to see you this way. She'd be bawling by now." He looked at Kenshin and the knight nodded. He left and then returned with Fay in his arms, she looked confused.

Jack held his arms out for Fay, who flew too them. "Hey.." Jack said softly. he cuddled her as wrapped his arms around Fay.

"Are you sleepy Fay?" jack asked as he laid down with her. Fay nodded and closed her eyes. "do you want to take a nap too?" Jack asked Bavira softly.

Bavira smiled. "A nap sounds nice, but I'm too worried to do so. I'd rather just watch you two sleep."

Jack nodded and gave Bavira a kiss before laying back down and falling asleep a few minutes later.
