[[Vain]]
[[Traverse Town] .:. [First District] .:. [Rooftops]]
Vain stared down from the rooftops at the courtyard below, chewing contently on a strip of bacon he'd managed to pinch from the cafe. Many troublesome things still clouded the young man's mind, the most prominent being the smoke-warrior he'd previously encountered. Even with the aid of the Revblade, Vain had found himself incapable of even keeping up with the shuriken wielder. He felt as though he were a mouse fighting a knight- as though he had no real chance of winning.
Elsewhere in his mind came the lingering worry about his own condition. He stared down at his darkness-infected arm, clenching his fist for a moment. It was strong, that much was certain. If his entire body had been of a similar composition, his confrontation with the smoke user would have come to a finish in a much different way. But strong as it was, it was more dangerous to Vain than it was to his enemies. He still wasn't quite sure what would happen if it consumed him, but it was that unknown factor that bothered him the most.
He looked to the Revblade, silently thanking whoever seemed to be watching over him. It was a blessing that Vain had come across the Revblade, a weapon capable of feeding off of the growing darkness in his arm. As long as he wielded the Revblade, he had nothing to immediately worry himself over.What do you think you're looking at?Vain grinned as his weapon, its blade thrust firmly in the rooftop so that it stood erect next to the young man. "Nothing. Just thinking about what to do next..."Find a way off of this world, that's what. If you really want to rid yourself of the darkness infecting your arm, I would suggest you hitch a ride on the next shuttle out of here.Vain finished off his bacon and nodded before getting to his feet. "That's a much more sound plan than mine, though only by default."Why's that?"I don't have a plan."Cheeky b*****d.Vain gripped the Revblade and sheathed it before hopping down off of the roof. He landed with a crash on the cobblestone, cracking the walkway underneath him. "I guess I'll just wait around here... After all, people have to come through here to leave, right?"

˻№ ჯ˳ ʃ Castle Oblivion || Kitchen Ħ ˹The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.˼ "... A pint of mead makes you look fancy or distinguished?" she retorted calmly, taking a sip and running her tongue lightly along her bottom lip, raising her brow as if she were genuinely looking for an answer. "Though, Masenko, last time I checked, the desire to consume food tends to sway more towards hunger and taste as opposed to how sophisticated one may look whilst doing so. Though it appears the opposite holds true for you, hmm?"˻So it all comes down to what you want. Worms, or cheese.˺

Xεlℐzα℞
He dipped the Ars Arcana into the ground and unsheathed it from the earth, taking with it a mass of brick stone. With a kick-the-moon, he brought it up into one of the heartless, sending all the attached matter with it. It flew backwards and with a light 'pop' burst into darkness. "COOOOOOOL."
Xelizar almost ignored the other two heartless, rather, he spent his time dancing and manipulating the shape and size of his false key. The blade itself remained unchanging, more so than the stone falchion that he settled on. It had an ornate stenciling up and down the shaft of the matte gray blade. With a final twist of his routine, he sheared through the two other heartless.
"Nope. I wonder where they could have gone..." the artificer said, shedding the stone from his false key. He stood back and watched the magical motes gently fall like feathers before he turned his attention back to the district. Apparently, the shadows had friends. Lots of them. A wave of about ten new shadows had materialized, with three brightly robed heartless floating overhead.

ÅΓ╦ΣMφ§
"Someone with no destiny is like a blank page with no utensil to write with."
Artemis slowly awoke by the sound of the wizards voice; rubbing his eyes his body lifted from the bed awkwardly straining his back as he flopped forward. His hair sticking out more on the side then it usually did. "Awrighit, I'm awake!" he spoke in a monotone voice.
"Really he gave us a FREE Gummi ship!? Like... a real flying one that can move an junk?" excitedly he slid his feet out of the bed onto the ground, his shoes conveniently right underneath. Pushing his feet into his shoes he remained seated on the bed for some of the others to get up.

[Ölüm]
(Unfortunately, there is not a fleck of remorse within me.)
[Castle Oblivion : Sanctuary (Ölum’s Room) -> Kitchen]
Cue "Apassionata"
Ölum could meditate for hours on end before he realized where the time had gone—though, time was seemingly irrelevant in Castle Oblivion. His “room” that had been given to him was a manifestation of the life that he now wished to live. The scene was serene…
The room was a vast field of tall grass with a single tree in the middle that loomed over everything else. The tree was the one thing that was subversive to Ölum’s preferences. Whenever he entered the room, the centerpiece would change based upon his mood. If he had just defeated a mighty opponent, the tree would be a tall strong elm that’s branches strained one’s neck to look at.
In his insanity, Ölum became fused with nature. Nature was, in fact, the one thing that kept him from putting himself off. It was a drug that consumed him. All his attempts at suicide had failed because of his ability to passively heal himself when in contact with life. Small creatures and plants would die around him in order to save their martyr that was able to understand all of them. Eventually, he stopped trying and realized that he would never escape life to be with his lover. This only increased his dive into depression and later insanity.
The message from Vereor had been swiftly delivered to Ölum’s ears, and he quietly submitted to the beckoning. Ölum exited his room and made his way to the Kitchen.
“Only a few hours of meditation Vereor… you work us like dogs you do. Though, what is time in this place anyways…” He said quietly as the other two bickered about how drinks altered a person’s social status… or something like that… meditating made him tired for a small portion of time.

[Enyb]
{Kwehkweh!(Adventure!).}
[Traverse Town : Merlin's house]
Enyb yawned before opening his eyes. People were up and talking, though his human translator part of his brain apparently hadn't woken up yet. All he heard was 'gummi' and something about leaving....
Gummy and leaving? Gummy is apparently a candy if I remember right, which is food...leaving for food? Great! And the bird stood and shook out it's feathers, letting out a happy sounding wark, eyes bright and feathers fluffed.

[[Masenko-Ma]]
[[Castle Oblivion] .:. [Kitchen]]
Masenko reached over and mockingly patted Aiko on the head before saying, "What a silly creature. Tea is a drink, not a food. And anything outside of bread and water is eaten for flavor and looks. Do you think cavier actually tastes good? No! You eat it because it's expensive as hell and not everyone can afford it!"

Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : Third District: Merlin's House}
Awakening to Merlin's call, Solaris stretched out in bed before proceeding to actually get out of bed. So Merlin has actually managed to get a ship...well...I guess that's good. Solaris thought to himself before glancing around at everyone else. It had hit him last night, before he'd gone to bed. For the duration of this journey, he would be with these people constantly. He hadn't even been with his master at all times, seeing as how he left to go out on his own journeys every now and again. Can I really do this? But if I don't go with them...where else will I turn?
With that thought in mind, Solaris walked over to Merlin, attempting to put on a face to match Merlin's obvious excitement. He failed miserably. Realizing this, he dropped the horrible face and went to one of indifference. "You can land a ship in the First District? I'd have imagined that there wouldn't be room for one." Solaris' main reason for saying this is because he'd never experience travel between worlds. He had no idea what a Gummi Ship was supposed to look like, but he imagined it to be a grand thing, enormous in size.

№ Ѷ -{Let's finish this up quickly, I wanna sleep.}- № Ѷ
[Castle Oblivion :: Aria's Room ⊱ Kitchen] "Tea's Ready."The Nobody let out a sleepy groan and promptly ignored it; just as she had tried to ignore the whistling of teapots and the humming of Vereor but within minutes she could already hear the sounds of chattering from her room, distantly, but there nonetheless. She could pinpoint the sounds of Vereor and Aiko, and an entering Masenko. Aria lifted her forefinger and gently waved it as if dismissing the sound. The noise in her ears crept to a steady silence. After a few minutes of being unable to fall back to slumber, Aria steadily rose from bed.
She entered the kitchen with a light step, rubbing the last remnants of sleep from her eyes. The smell of freshly brewed tea wafted towards her and Aria suddenly questioned why she felt like skipping out on morning tea in the first place. Oh right, because there were always annoying people at the table. Like Masenko trying to argue about food.
So he drinks hot sauce for looks. Hmm, trying to appear stronger than he actually is? That settles a lot of questions. With a sliver of a smile the Nobody disregarded all the conversations as she settled down at the table. "... Good morning."

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : Inn ~ Green Room]
"Well, according to him, it should protect against any dark hostilities, so I'd guess them too," he said with a shrug, making sure his jacket was adjusted properly before noticing Mitsudo was... upside down. What? "And, uh... well, Merlin's the strongest mage I've ever met, and he helps protect the town. He can do pretty much anything."
There was a moment of silence, and then Mitsudo finally spoke. Soryuju blinked somewhat before sighing, as if preparing for something. "I am Soryuju Ryutetsin, Dragon Knight in the service of the Republic of Valerat, on a mission to uncover the reason behind the Heartless invasion of the Realm of Light and prevent any other such insurgence from harming the innocent."
It sounded almost... rehearsed. It was the truth, but it was obvious from the clear, blunt way he put it that he had been speaking from the point of view as a tool of the nation, not as an actual person. It's not that he wasn't passionate about his mission, just that it wasn't entirely him.
"I just want to put a stop to all of this," he began, releasing a bit of shoulder tension as he sighed again. "And find my brother, who apparently has been helping the people who attacked us. Does that answer your question?"

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}
[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen] "Good morning, eldest," Vereor responded to Aiko as the woman strolled in, chuckling at the 'banter' that they normally went through. He didn't respond to her question, due to Masenko's entrance. The ninja, without hesitation, criticized the drink, and though Vereor heard the grumbling in the back of his head, he quelled it with silence, allowing Aiko to debate with the much younger man.
The others slowly began to crawl out of the metaphorical woodwork. Ölum came in, grumbling about his few hours of meditation, and shortly behind him walked Aria. He pondered upon the locations of the others, but didn't give it much thought. If he wanted to know, he could find out with ease, after all.
Aside from pouring himself a cup of the tea, and pouring some into the glasses of those that had arrived (they knew their cups by the number on the side) sans Masenko, the Veiled Gorgon kept quiet, merely listening.

˻№ ჯ˳ ʃ Castle Oblivion || Kitchen Ħ ˹The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.˼ Aiko leaned to the side at the sight of Masenko's outstretched hand, effectively dodging the gesture. "'Food' is any substance that can be eaten or drunk to provide nutrition for the body. Hence tea is food," she sighed, not at all worried that the boy had no knowledge of essential nutrition. Maybe if the infant got scurvy he'd realise that there were things just as important as bread and water.
"Morning Aria, Ölum," she chimed, reaching for her cup and taking a sip. "Refined as always, Vereor," she praised, slightly lifting the crockery in his direction.˻So it all comes down to what you want. Worms, or cheese.˺

[ӈ Ʌ ʀ ʯ Ӄ Φ] {Ooo GOODY! Stuff to Torture} [Castle Oblivion; Haruko's Bedroom -> Kitchen] Haruko sighed before getting up fully off of her bed. She had been asleep for a long time in her room and needed a little bit of time to herself. Haruko walked up to her wardrobe and tried to decide on what to wear today. She decided to go with black and white pants with the zippers and clips along the side as well as a very tight black tank top. She then put on some white gloves in order to pull it together and smiled. “Coming!” She shouted before rushing downstairs into the Kitchen. “Hello everyone! Hooray! Tea again!” the bubbly Haruko spoke to everyone. She quickly sped to her cup and grasped it from all of the other cups there. She then filled it with the tea and put in her normal amount of sugar (just think large amounts). “Aria! Aiko! Want to play! Please!!!!” Haruko then started to whine to both of them to play with her. Haruko tended to have the attention span of a nut but did know that the only one that let her have any fun anymore was Vereor and maybe sometimes Olum. It was about time for a new challenger to step up and play with her.

[[Masenko]]
[[Castle Oblivion] .:. [Kitchen]]
"Just like someone with back to the wall in a logical debate to generalize all 'sustenance' as food." Masenko dispersed into smoke again, reforming in the same chair, only now sitting in it in an odd position. The ninja was sitting in his seat upside down, his feet hanging over the back of the chair and crossed and his head rest on the table.
He looked "up" across the table at Aria smiling as he said, "Oh Aria, my sweet!~ heart Could you pass me that delicious hot sauce?"
