Remus breathed a sigh of relief. His hand was resting on his sidearm, and had been sweating with anticipation to use it.
"Well, I'm sure Mr. Ragdoll will soon learn the hard way that you can't expect everyone to bend to your will. Arrgh...I was hoping he would do something so I could put a bullet through that big stupid smile of his."
Remus looked at his watch. "I'm afraid I must depart, Lady Emma. If you run into any more trouble, don't be afraid to contact me." he said and he respectfully kissed her hand as a friendly goodbye gesture.
((Goodnight, Emma.))

She curtsied in return. "I shall, Emperor."
The earthworm spell was still available to her, if she wished to use it.
But it wouldn't be prudent at this junction.
"Good evening, Doctor." She nodded to Question, taking a small sip of wine.

Question nodded his head and made a simple hand gesture. "Bartender, get me something that'll get rid of as much stress as beating my head on a wall." He rubbed his forehead. "Well, I think things might get a tad bit interesting soon."

"How so?" She asked, arching a chestnut eyebrow and surveying the tavern.
Another jolt of pain came from the other side of her link, and something flickered across her features.

"Well, in some regards a sentient doll commanding an army of other sentient dolls is quite interesting. At least it was in Toy Soldiers. Can't say the same about the Tiki. Man, that was an evil wooden guy." He took a sip of his mysterious drink, pondering on events long past. "So, what's your take on that doll?"

She muttered a series of phrases in Elvish that were both untranslatable and extremely offensive were they to be translated.
"...perhaps I need not say."

Emma laughed in a quite unladylike manner.
"Oh, you're good enough. I couldn't agree more."

Question smirked. "Well, even though the dome seems to keep us from actually dying, that doll is clearly less mortal than any of us. So, what better to do with someone who won't die than shove them into a place where they'll get torn apart?" He took a large gulp of the drink that he still hadn't identified.
"So did you save your husband?"

She nodded. "I did."
She wouldn't have been at the Tavern if she hadn't.
There probably wouldn't be much of a planet left if she hadn't.

"And I see you've gone back to wearing a black dress." Question leaned back on the counter and looked up, pondering. 'That castle in my dream, it couldn't be... could it?'

"I have."
What she didn't say was that the gown had changed of its own accord. It had a tendency to revert to black when she was frightened.
The fear at the sight of her Lord's wound had not faded.

Skutz sat her butt back down in a secluded area, hoping to catch a breather. Too much on her mind, too much to think about, to say, to do. "But...I do have a lead to a change-back..." She kept repeating what she heard from her little bout.

During the commotion, Stranger had woken up and taken a knife from some doll holding it at his throat. Gallon had then lodged it inside the clone, and folded it's arms behind itself so that the single knife penetrated through all limbs. This kept the limber little sack still, and Stranger went back to sleep, using his attacker as added cushion. Reaching out under the table, he checked his rifle which was sitting on the opposite bench, and then closed his eyes again. His trials were over and he had celebrated a little too much, which meant that now he had to recover. Screaming across the bar, Gallon shouted, "Don't give the Doctor anything to drink." These words were his last, and as the headache from his own voice set in, Stranger followed the trail back to slumber.

Vii Star was afraid of how Stranger would react once he saw her, so she sat in the booth right next to him, with her back to where his was. She could smell his modified scent through the cushions and it was almost like her cold body was next to his warm one. Letting out a deep sigh and looking down at his huge rough hands, Vii flexed, watching the striations appear and disappear with his flexed fists. It was his vampiric nature that had bestowed a pleasant physique, Vii observed earlier that evening in the mirror after his morning shower. Despite the armors extra weight and birth Vii found it hardly noticeable after a while of wearing and moving. Which reminded the vampire that sustenance was in order. With a slight frown he remembered that Regal was no longer able to offer her services and secretly cursed her for putting Vii in the mood for battle and in this terrible predicament as the result. If Vii had been watching like usual, then perhaps it would be her in this place instead of her master, and subsequently her sire. Maybe she would make a good vampire, maybe she would loathe this wretched darkness and seek an Exorcism, he didn't know. Knocking the table over when he slid out of the booth and nearly tripping on the fallen objects, he righted himself and strode casually to the bar, pouring his usual blood and warming it with the small hand torch for a moment. I twas warm, a little too warm to be lifelike, but better than going hungry. The place was deserted, he decided, leaning an arm onto the counter, contemplating removing the top piece of his armor. ★★★★★★★
