Skylar listened, a little iffy about it all; who did that Shepard think he was to do such a thing? She glared at him for a few moments before remembering the bandages she held in her hand. "O-oh, I'm soory," she said, holding them out for him. "Or, would you rather me..." she trailed off, not wanting to have him hurt himself slightly as he wrapped the wounds. She continued to hold out the bandages, though, guessing he'd probably refuse her offer and wrap the fresh ones himself; she didn't mind. She found it the same, either way.

"Its no problem". Taku goes over and opens the window and in flies a Black cat with dragon-like wings, flies around the room a few times and lands on Taku's shoulder. "My name is Taku, this is Riku , and what might your name be?" Taku says as he strokes Riku's head, and Riku purs loudly. 3nodding

[[first off, once again no quoting. As for the using action without <> you should be able to express it better with words. For example, your post could have said;
..."My name is Taku, this is Riku," he said, pointing to the winged black cat on his shoulder, who seemed to meow, "and what might your name be?" ...
Like that, you see? You don't need the asterks, you just need to replace them with a few words and punctuation marks, etc.

Kana blinked and lets her eyes follow the male as he headed towards a window. [all that was action] Her head tilted to the side in curiosity, despite the fact she was still trembling and hugging herself. She kept seeing the male's injured chest in her mind and her eyes kept flicking towards him to make sure he was still ok. She sighed, bowing her head slightly as she continued biting her lip.
But it jerked up again in surprise as she saw him open the window and a winged cat flew in. She resisted the urge to leap from her chair and bound towards it, and instead sat where she was, just staring in awe. "Wh-what is that?" she stammered, eyes wide. Then she blinked several times to regain her composure and slowly got from the chair, crossing to see the winged cat more clearly. It was like a dream seeing a cat with wings. Kana'd always wished to fly, so this was amazing! She glanced back at the male as he introduced himself as Taku and smiled weakly again. "Um, I'm Kana..." she murmured, offering a small bow. "It's nice to meet you."
Kai nodded and began to accept the bandages, though he paused as she did. He blinked at her, then smiled softly. "Thank you for the offer, but I think I can handle. I'm not injured enough that I can't wrap myself." He took them carefully from her hand and slowly pulled the the old ones from his right hand. He blinked at the wound, surprised at how much blood such small cuts on his fingers gave off. Actually, they weren't two small... Every finger, including the thumb, were sliced deeply into, nearing the bone. But he didn't even wince as he simply began bandaging it again, having a bit of trouble tying it with only one hand to use.

Skylar allowed him to take the bandages from her hands without any resistance. Je pense si, she thought, smiling up at him. "You're right, Kai, I know you can handel it," she said, pretending to be convinced, hiding the fact that she was somewhat hurt at what he said. She didn't mind, really, but all the same; she couldn't help but feel a slight stab of an imaginary knife as he spoke. She shook her head, laughing softly as she watchedhim fumble with trying to tie the bandages.

Kai frowned, fumbling with the bandages for a moment more before finally heaving an frustrated sigh. He still had a headache, and that wasn't helping at all with the task. He really didn't want to ask for help with Shepard right there to mock him again, but maybe Kaori was distracting him so he wouldn't notice? Kai shook his head and glanced back at Skylar again. "Actually..." he began, somewhat uneasily. He wasn't used to asking for help, ever. "I could maybe use a little... help..." he mumbled, voice growing fainter at the end. He looked to the floor, finding himself with unfamiliar feelings of helplessness. His left hand clenched tightly for a moment before relaxing again. Slowly his eyes closed as he calmed himself again, trying to reassure himself that he wasn't worthless, despite what that voice was shouting at him.

"It's a Kudokan cat only found in the woods of my home village of Kudoka." Taku said as he scratched Riku's head and Riku purs. "Kudoka village is a village where demons and humans live in harmony with one another. My mother one day on my birthday brought me home this cat..." points at Riku"... she was injured so I nursed her back to health for 3 months, and ever since then we've been inseperable..." Taku pauses "... our relationship grew even more when she saved my life from falling off of a cliff..." pats Riku on the head "... big things come in small packages or so the saying goes... So enough about me tell me a little about yourself."

Skylar slowly stopped laughing, nodding her head. "Of course, Kai. Why wouldn't I help..." she whispered to him, knowing he didn't want Shepard to hear. She leaned over, reaching for both ends of the bandages, before starting to tie them. She didn't want to tie it too tight, just in case, so she looked up to Kai tilting her head slightly, as though imploring him to respond in some way when it was tight enough. Je ne veux pas.... she started to think, hoping it wasn't already to tight. Although, she thought, at least he wasn't holding anything back at that moment, right? At least he was asking for her help.

Kana blinked, a bit surprised that he'd reveal so much of himself right away. Then again, his life didn't sound so bad... She sighed softly and guestured towards the door, signaling that they should probably leave the other male alone to recover. She paused again in the hallway and leaned her back against the wall, crossing her arms loosely over her stomach as her tail eased itself from around her waist and began absently flicking behind her again. But her ears were drooping as she decided how to asnwer his question.
She slowly looked up at him again, offering a weak smile. "Um, your home sounds very nice..." she finally said, her voice faint. "Mine wasn't so... pleasant." She paused, not really wishing to continue. She let her eyes drop back to the floor, wondering if he'd press the subject or just drop it.
Kai frowned, watching as she began slowly tightening it. Once it got to the point where he thought it would be fine, he nodded to her. "That's good..." he murmured quietly, tail flicking absently behind him again. His eyes darted between the people standing around the hallway and then back to Skylar again. "...thank you," he said after a moment.

Skylar tied the bandages when he said that it was good enough. She looked up at him, taking her hands away and placing them in her lap, a smile on her face. "Anytime," she said cheerfully, hearing his thanks. She blushed slightly, though, realizing he said thank you to her; although she didn't quite know why she was blushy. J'ai...foul? she questioned herself mentally, slowly calming down as she turned her head to look at the scene behind her.

"That's cool every body has their secrets... I didnt really tell you every thing about me either... part of my life wasnt so hot either." scratching Riku's head he noticed her tail. Judging by the way Kana was flicking her tail and by her ears Taku had an idea of what species he thought she might be but didnt say anything so as not to be rude.
All of a sudden Taku grabs his head in extreme pain "No not here!" Riku flies off of Taku's shoulder "... must get control!" Taku says through his teeth. After a few more seconds he blacks out and falls forward on the ground in the hall way at Kana's feet.

Kai blinked, smirking faintly as he saw her blush but otherwise not reacting. Instead he turned to the more important task of rewrapping his chest. He slowly peeled off the old bandages, which had stuck in place because of the blood. He frowned and smeared a bit more away before it could run down his stomach again. Then he slowly began wrapping it again, the bandages going across his chest over the main stab wound and all the way around his back so they could be held firmly in place.
He had his teeth clenched, but let no trace of pain show on his face. He was not going to take one of those pills, and he was not going to give Shepard a reason to further mock him. He finished after a moment, pulling the bandages tight but not yet putting his shirt back on. He left it in his shirt instead as he glanced around again before pausing with his gaze on Skylar again.
Kana blinked, breathing out slowly in relief as he dropped the subject like she'd hoped. But her ears stayed drooping at his next comment and she bit her lip again. "Oh, I'm sorry..." she murmured softly. She jumped in alarm as Taku suddenly grabbed his head, her eyes widening as she took a hesitant step towards him. "Wh-what's wrong?" she asked uncertainly.
She jumped again as he suddenly fell over. She glanced around urgently and then dropped to her knees beside him. "Ah, what's wrong?" she cried desperately as she gently shook his shoulder. She couldn't see any injuries, and she couldn't smell any blood either, so she had no idea what do to. "Taku!"
[I have to go pack a cooler now. Dx]
