@Xadiara: wow!!! I love all the details your putting into it o_o, the roses, the hair, the cloths.... even the background is beautifully detailed!!!! this is gonna be an awesome pic : D I know it!!!
@Mayrin: its maybe taking you long but I think its turning out beautifully so far : D Your colours are so harmonious with each other. I feel like I'm looking at a beautiful water nympth or something of the sorts : D what is she ?

the colours took forever to pick. but yes, it's a water nymph. I was looking at some russian art nouveau illustrators a few weeks back and my eye fell on the work of Ivan Billibin, who has made some gorgeous illustrations for russian fairy tales.
but it started as an innocent wood nymph, then water nymph, and now an evil seducing water nymph creature that lures men into the woods to drown and/or something like that. XDD

heres a whip i'm working on...its not turning out as well as I was hopping though... I keep getting the feeling I'm gonna have to draw these blood splotchs individually, but I'm being lazy right now and trying to make it work with the cg brushs.... which I don't think is working so far... they stand out to much... opinions? suggestions? things people think i can do to improve it?

perhaps some colour variations in the blood. darker parts, and points where the light reflects on it. Cause I take it the blood's fresh. and using a brush isn't all bad, but to keep them from all looking the same, just alter some of the marks a bit with a loose brush or eraser.
