Reeve keeps his gaze fixed on Nekojiri and Bao, not honestly paying too much attention to whatever Tutsumi was doing. There was never any telling, anyway. He cocks an eyebrow as Bao says he wanted to talk, and makes what is likely his least threatening or violent action thus far- he keeps his hands to himself, the left pocketed and the right against his right leg, the first two fingers held out, almost like a pistol gesture. Ishira and Neko would recognize the intent, if they were paying attention to it. As Reeve understands this, it's safe to assume that it's not meant for them.

Since no one had bothered to stop his meditation, Tutsumi took in a deep breath and pushed out the negative energy that was in his channels from his body. With a slight smile, he got back up onto his feet, his eyes still closed, as he bolted at both Neko and Bao or rather...behind Neko. As soon as he got his stance behind him, he swung his hands from the right side of his body and 'smashed' them against the air behind Neko, sending a funnel around Neko that would both increase speed and act as a first attack.

Neko moved to stop as Ishira disappeared, but was puched along by Tut's blast of air. He ducked low and kicked his feet out so he slid around Bao, feet digging into the ground as he zipped by the scroll, glancing down at it. Bao wasn't backing down, which either made this a trap or a distraction. Either way, this man was the only link he had to figuring out what was going to happen to his student. He stood back up and slid to a stop on the other side of Bao, opposite of Tutsumi.
"Give me three reasons to talk to you..."
This man was his only link to finding Ishira. Neko was getting pissed at the interference, maybe more at the fact that he was caught off-guard. What did he want with Ishira? He had a hunch that Bao would be interested in the research, but Ishira had nothing to do with it.
"A bargaining chip. What do want with me, Bao Steel? I won't talk until I see her."

Bao was staring at Tutsumi now, but his speech was directed at Neko. He knew by Neko's reaction that he wasn't going to attack right now. Though he wasn't sure about Tutsumi or the others that were surrounding him. Not that it mattered at this point. His point of interest was Nekojiri right now. "Three reasons? I could come up with ten off the top of my head." His opera mask's expression turned into glee, smiling from corner to corner. Bao put up three fingers and started to pull them down one after another as he listed the reasons, "I have your student that apparently doesn't know that she can control her own seals. I have knowledge of events that will occur soon. Last but not least... I have a proposition." At the last comment Bao turned his head sideways towards Neko; not turning all the way.

Iri takes form next to Tutsumi. No point in staying in her air form. Odds are Bao already knew she was there, anyway. Her wings stay half unfurled, ready to snap open and give her a burst of speed. Steel fans are in her hands, already open. Though she doesn't make a move to attack. Instead, she flicks a wing at Tutsumi and Reeve, urging them to hold back. Of course she wants Bao dead. But now may not be the most opportune moment.

Kyuu flailed back when the man pushed her. As her behind hit the ground her lower jaw shot up, catching the tip of her tongue between both sets of teeth. The salty taste of her blood flooded her mouth in seconds as it took a moment for her realize she was in pain. Shocks were sent up her back as her butt became stingingly sore. Though her teeth had entered the flesh in her mouth, it was only a shallow cut which left her gaping and wincing at the introduction of hot air. She was gargling a growl through the blood and saliva that had built up after, her eyes sharp as daggers as she looked up at the man. Ishira was gone, she could not feel her, could not sense that she was anywhere near, and there was no need to freak out as of yet. Kyuu needed to stay calm enough, just in case she needed to jump at the mans legs and go at him again.

Neko narrows his eyes at Bao, not even bothering to look at the others around him, though the three others were paying attention, two hidden in the shadows of their cloaks.
"What do you want, Bao? I'm not budging until I know she's safe."

"Oh she's safe for now, so long as you come along quietly. I do mean quietly by the way. Won't you come with me?" Bao raised his head before turning it forwards to Tutsumi. He had seen Iri show herself out of the corner of his eye. "Hello, hehehe. Did you make some kind of deal with Nekojiri already? I noticed the little move your friend just made. Unless that was some kind of delayed attack. So I wonder why he would help him by giving a boost in chakra output." The small scroll that was laying on the ground had finally burned itself to ashes. "Trying to overload him. Is that it? Am I getting closer? I really can't tell. Maybe I'm wrong about the deal." He placed a hand on his chin.

Neko's fingers curl in to his palms as he lowers his head, almost growling at the man in front of him.
"Just show me where to go, let's get this over with."

Reeve gives a stern nod of his head to Iri, crossing his other arm over the one he's extended. His fingers rest on his right elbow, indicating he won't fire yet. But ohhh, he wants to.

"Oh, there was nothing behind it. Just giving him a little boost in speed hoping he would have knocked the s**t out of you..."
At Iri's gesture, he sighed and sat back down again, rummaging through his pockets until he found a few leaves. What would he do? Start eating them, of course.

The woman's facial features remain flat and emotionless, with the exception of a slight narrowing of her brow. She doesn't respond to Bao. Iri doesn't see it as necessary. Instead, she settles for keeping her mouth shut and observing him, taking in as many details as possible, watching him like a hawk does its prey. She's as eager from blood as Reeve and Tutsumi, but she doesn't think that would end the way it should at the moment. Who is to say Bao Steel is really standing in front of her? That could be a clone. And if she insists on fighting the clone, and costs Nekojiri his chance at rescuing his student, that could damage a very fragile and currently valuable truce. So she supresses the Fury's urge to kill and stays calm.
"Smells like a trap to me. I can't blame you for going after your student. But don't let him control you with Ishira. I'm sure she's resourceful enough to handle herself. And if he has knowledge of future events... Something really stinks here. I don't like you going by yourself. But, hey, it's your funeral."
Good ol' Iri, as blunt as ever.

His opera mask's smile faded. It was at a neutral gaze, copying Iri's expression. "No insult or speech?" Bao looked at Iri before turning his head to Neko, then back to Iri. "Why haven't you attacked? Hehehe. Oh by the way.. do you know where Kwubara and Tier have run off to? They've been gone for quite awhile now. Very suspicious if you ask me." Bao had almost forgotten the amount of time he was outside here. It was time to leave. "I will be looking forward to having another meeting with you all at a later date."
Bao did a 180 degree turn and sprinted at Neko. When he reached him, he threw a sideways karate chop at his head. If he were to block it, Bao would have gotten close and whispered, "Kaimen's grave.".

Neko, of course, blocked the strike. he brought his right hand up and under the attack, pushing it over his head. His eyes narrowed at Bao's words before he glanced at the people around him.
"If there's one thing you should've learned about me lately, Iri... is that I'm never alone."
For once, he didn't smirk, he didn't chuckle. With a stern expression on his face, he went nowhere. One of the cloaked figures, however, flickered away with enormous speed.

Kyuu almost prayed that the attack hit Neko, but when it did not she grumbled and scooted back, out of the way of the little skirmish she was sure would happen. When it did not, her grumbling became louder and she watched as the man went to leave. Follow? No, not if Neko was going... There was no guarantee that Ishira would be in the little meeting, but she was pretty sure she would not be... The Man did not seem to be the type to just give some one what they wanted, and she was sure that man would use Ishira as much as he could just to keep an eye on Neko. If anything, she would be able to feel when Ishira was around again, and she was sure the mother figure in her would come after its child. So she sat, and waited, knowing there was nothing else she could do.
