Danny smiled a bit and nodded as he stepped through the door and into the hallway.
"Yes." Hal replied, watching as the portal vanished after they stepped through. He glanced around and frowned. "But where did the woman go?"

Carlie frowned, and looked around as well. "No clue, Dad..." she said, frowning too.

"Well..." Hal said, then turned and looked at Marvel. "Do you see the two heroes you spoke of earlier. We can at least get that done."

Billy looked up at Hal and shook his head. "Nope, don't see 'em, but I'm sure they're around here somewhere..." he said.
Meanwhile, a beautiful young woman in a rather... revealing pink outfit landed outside the Sanctum. Carol Ferris, Queen of the Zamarons and de facto leader of the Star Sapphire Corps, had detected something truly strange: Her on-again-off-again boyfriend (and her former employee) Hal Jordan was in the area; specifically in this building. She had detected the energy signature unique to his ring... twice. That shouldn't have been possible, because even if he had duplicated his own ring, it wouldn't have the exact same energy signature as his did... which this second ring apparently did.
She put her hands on her hips and pursed her lips, brushing a bit of her raven-black hair away from her face as she looked up, unimpressed, at the office building Hal had seemingly gone into. Then she knocked on the door and waited.

Alex watched as Danny walked through the hallway and straight past them, glancing at each face as he went. She watched him a moment, then heard a knock at the door. The twin had already walked away from the door, so she decided to be the one to go open it this time. She took a look back at the kitchen door, then over at Lucas. "Hang on a sec." she said, then walked down the hallway towards the entrance.
There, she opened the door partially to see who was knocking. She found....a woman in an extremely low cut pink costume. ....well...pink didn't exactly scream bad guy anyway. "Can I help you?" she asked.

"Yes. I'm looking for one Hal Jordan; Is he here? It shouldn't be hard to spot him, as he's likely dressed up in a skintight green outfit and wearing a bright green ring." Carol replied.
Meanwhile, in a room close to the front door, a certain teenaged, rookie Green Lantern froze at the sound of Carol's voice, and she looked slowly to Hal, her eyes wide.

Hal was too far in his own thoughts to notice C.J. looking at him. He hadn't even heard his name being spoken.
"I don't know. I haven't been walking around the place long enough to see who all is here. Hang on a moment and I'll check." Alex replied, turning and glancing down the hallway.

"Uh... Mr. Jordan? Someone's at the door for you..." Billy said to Hal, while he gripped Carlie's arm to make sure she didn't do something she'd regret later on.

"Hm? Oh, sorry." Hal replied, distractedly. He then turned to walk out of the room and into the hallway. His mind was still...elsewhere. This seemed like just a waste of time. The woman said they'd run into the others here, and that she'd explain everything to them. But...no one seemed to be here right now. And after all Ganthet had said, and the Doomsday Black Lantern, he was NOT in the mood to waste time.
He needed to get back out there and do...do...d....
He stopped suddenly as he looked up at Alex and looked past her at the woman outside the door.
....oh.

((XD))
"Hal!" Carol said sharply, brushing past Alex with a soft "Excuse me" and walking over to her ex-boyfriend. "It's... good to see you again, Hal," she said softly to him. "I came here because I was just doing a fly-over of Manhattan and I detected something... impossible. I detected two identical energy signatures-- both of them matched your ring. So... That's yours..." she continued, gesturing to the ring on his hand. "Where is the other? It's... impossible for two rings to have the exact same energy signature, isn't it?"

Hal cleared his throat uneasily. "Not...impossible. At least not for this universe. There have been quite a few people that are completely our of place in time. People that are younger than they should be. Some that are older than they should be. And some people that are from a different universe all together." he replied, then looked back at the room he had just exited. "The, uh....other ring you sensed IS mine. One I....gave to some one else. Sometime in the future anyway."

"Oh, really? Can I see this person?" Carol asked, noting the hesitancy in his voice. Then she smirked. "It's not like a descendant of yours or something, is it?" she asked, before practically strutting toward the room Hal had been in and entering it.
Carlie sucked in a breath as she looked at the past version of her mother, and tried her hardest not to run to her and tackle her like she had done to Hal. Instead, she uttered a weak: "Hi, Mom,", which caused Carol's eyebrows to go up towards her hairline.
"...What did you just call me?"

Hal sighed deeply and rubbed the back of his head, following her into the room. "Exactly what you think she called you." he replied.
Alex watched the two with puzzled interest before closing the entrance door. She stared for a moment, then shrugged it off and headed back towards Paragon and the others. Not her problem. She had quite enough going on as it was.

Carol was speechless. Slowly, she looked to Hal and back to Carlie, then repeated the process. Then she shook her head.
"I'm in a very weird dream. That's all... Hal, this girl thinks that I'm her mother?" she asked, and Carlie looked a little hurt.
"You are... and Hal's my dad," Carlie said softly, looking down at the floor, red in the face. Billy frowned and put a hand on her shoulder, before he proceeded to explain the situation to Carol. When he finished, Carlie looked up to see Carol staring at her.

"I told you people were out of place here." Hal said simply.
// Seriously have no clue what to do with him other than have him leave the room and let them talk. //
