Amnity's heart seemed to be caught on her throat, her worst fears seemed to be getting closer. "Jacob...What are you getting at?!" The hunter gripped both of his shoulders, "Why? Is something going to happen to you?" her voice cracked, she tried to hold back tears.

Mephlius walked in. "Hey Kuro... Hey Jacob..." He paused for a second. "Hey Am." He smiled.

It was like an angel of mercy and kindness came on the darkest time when she heard Mephlius' voice. Her emotions conflicted in her, she can't be HAPPY right now because she wouldn't be, she can't be SAD either because Mephlius was here. A single tear rolled down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away, "Hey Mephlius! I was worried about you..." she said in almost a whisper, not making eye contact with him.

An awkward feeling came in the room. He was concerned and happy at the same time. He was concerned that Amnity was crying, and what Jacob said. "Umm... what did I miss?" The two sources of concern still didn't cancel out his happiness for being around Amnity. He had a happy look on his face, but he wasn't smiling.

Kuro walked back into the room and took a seat on the bed. He put his head down, not knowing what to say.

Amnity couldn't hold it back anymore. Her grip on Jacob's arm grew tighter and the tears fell freely now, "No! I won't let it happen Jacob! I won't let you die!!!" she said, almost screaming at him. "You...You're stronger than the other Altered humans Jacob...Please don't.." her throat felt like there was a rock stuck in it and she tried to swallow it down.
The hunter turned to Mephlius, trying desperately to wipe away the tears. "This isn't fair.."

"Die? What? Where? When? Why? What the..." Mephlius stood up, and put his arm in Amnity's shoulder. "You okay?" He turned to Jacob. "What's going on?!"

Jacob sighed and stood. "Altered Humans are humans that have something...off about them. Be it a mutation at the genetic level, or simply having been experimented on. I am one of the latter. Unfortunately, the process that I went through was flawed, and my body will eventually break down at the cellular level. Leaving at most, a pile of ash or goo. So, I've been looking into various ways of stopping the breakdown, and nothing yet save for rapid cell regenesis will help." he said, talking to everyone.

Amnity tried to wipe away all of her tears and she snuggled closer to Mephlius for comfort. "...How long?...How much time...left." she asked, her voice cracked a bit when she said "left".

"Dust to dust." Kuro muttered before standing up again. "You menitioned a way to cure it, finding a way as you put it. Is there anything I could do to help speed your research?"

Mephlius hugged Amnity close. Then he got a sudden idea, and ran at Jacob. "Take some of my blood. Werewolf blood increases the metabolism and it would increase your cell regenration. I'll give you regular transfusions, and you will be fine." His cell phone buzzed, and he pulled it out. "Kuro..."
"Moondog" ((Head of security, NPC)) walked in. "Alright, where is he?" He had a very intimidating air around him.
"Glad you made it Moondog. This is Kuro." He said, motioning to Kuro.

Kuro laughed, "In case you didn`t know, i`m a vampire." He stopped laughing, "I`ve actually studied microbiology as well as many other subjects that could help over my period of immortality"
