They went into the bar together, Morgan was trying to fight down a growling stomach. She had no idea what was in the bar, maybe Rivven had stocked it up better since he had come to work there. She'd already heard from Quintilius that he made a deal with Pale to supply the bar with more wine. Nice considering she'd seen how huge his cellars were.

Alan stepped into the bar from the street outside. All that walking had made him thirsty. He had looked in the windows around town, trying to find a place to get something to drink, this was the first one with people in it.
"Hello? Do you serve drinks in here?" He asked.

LouWho Psychofish "Then it sounds like he is learning very quickly indeed." Rivven said, still eating his bread and egg methodically together. "Actually, we'd spoken about me teaching chakra basics, if nothing else, to the children, hadn't we? They seem to be growing more quickly than would be expected, even after their birth, so I thought I might want to learn about the school grounds some before I have to start teaching, if you'd want me to teach there. Maybe during my free time today I can learn a bit about the school's layout, and prepare for that." "That would be great! I think I could even put up with the spawn of Pale if that meant I got to teach it," she joked "What do we have to drink?" Morgan fiddled with a loose curl that had come undone from her hair "I still have plenty of time before I have to Mordrid's wedding. I wish I could have been with him before this, I feel like I've missed out so much on his childhood due to foolish decsions. I can't go blaming everything on the curse." she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Oh, stop that, Illiana seems like a nice little child, even if it's a bit early to tell. There's no reason to get like that." he said in a light tone. "I don't know what you could have against Mrs. Kimache either, she seems nice enough. What do you mean? You want alchohol this early, or are you asking about these?" He said, picking up the now empty cup he'd had to drink with his breakfast. "I just put water in both the glasses, if that's what you're asking. But if you want a drink, I can get you something." he said, kissing her as she leaned back again. "I'm afraid I don't really know what to say about that. I have to admit, you cannot blame everything on it, but I wouldn't say it's all your fault either." he left the last bit too.

"Pale's given me some trouble in the past. Her and her two friends and I go way back," she rolled her eyes, the looked behinf her "Oh, looks like you have a customer, no one I've ever seen before."
Morgan finished up just about everything on her plate, then agreed that she would really love some water now.

"Just a moment love, I'll be right back with you." Rivven said to Morgan, getting up and walking over behind the counter. "Yes. What would you like? We've got... a lot of things, plenty of wine, I'd assume you're looking for, and non-alchoholic drinks too." he said, pulling out a larger glass for the young man. "Did I not see you several days ago in the forest, sir? Are you finding your way around better now?" he said, waiting for the drink order to pull something out.

"I suppose you might have." Said Alan, not really remembering who it was he had tripped over. "I did find my way here allright, though I havent really met anyone yet. I suppose I'll have some of that." He said, pointing at a greenish bottle with some red liquid in it. He had no idea what wine was, or really anything for that matter. All they had had on the mountain was water and sometimes milk.

"Alright..." Rivven said, pouring the man's glass half full, and handing it to him. He didn't want to go handing out wine to younger people in large mugs like it was booze. That would probably have been wat much. Getting another glass out, he poured Morgan some water, and brought it back to the table for her. "I think maybe we'll leave it at that. I don't start up for a while yet, so do you want to go back to the school when he's finished?" he said while he put it down in front of her.

"What's your name?" she got up from where she was sitting and went to stand next to Rivven and the newcomer "It's not often that I meet someone that has absolutly no reputation to proceed them. It's very hard to be mysterious in such a small and tight knit clan." Edit: "Sure, I can show you around the place. As much as can be done in such a short time."

"Mysterious huh, yeah I suppose I do carry a bit of that around with me. My name is Alan Jacknife, pleased to meet both of you." He wasent sure about this clan buesness. The master magnus had warned him about such things. Most of them were allright and a few committed some foul acts every now and then, but a few were downright evil. "I would love a tour. If you have time that is. Otherwise I'm sure I can find my way around well enough." He took a sip of the red liquid and almost spat it back out. It burned his mouth a little. He supposed he would get used to it eventually.

"I suppose I'll go have a look around. I wont be hard to find if you need me. At least, I dont think I will." He left the bar without paying a cent. He had never heard of money before. There was no need of it up in the mountain cave between him and the magnus. He wandered the streets for a bit, then went into a store that looked rather bright and cheery.

Kumiko pads along, passing by the front desk, immediately interested in the store before her. She pauses, realising she's standing in front of a stage, and she becomes embarrassed, her cheeks turning a pale pink. She slips into a seat at a table, glancing around for a waitress.

There is no waitress, but Rivven stands behind the counter of the bar, or rather is just getting to his feet and buttoning his coat on, when he sees the young woman enter the bar. Perhaps it was time he started finding time to excersize somewhere inbetween his work hours at the bar and his time with Morgan, rather than doing all his sit ups and other excersizes during the usually empty day time hours. Not that night was getting a ton of bussiness either, but it got more. Buttoning the white coat's high collar all the way up and slipping his sandals on, he ran a hand absently through his white hair to straighten it as he walked up behind her, taking a seat near the stage. "May I help you with something?" he asked, looking her over quickly. No crimson, no golden phoenix crest, he was safe. Not that someone from the Sapientes Gladio would wear that for certain, but if they were going to present themselves to him openly like this, rather than pulling some trick, they certainly would. He glanced around the rest of the bar as well, and finding it empty, waited camly for her order.

Kumiko immediately hears the shuffling behind the bar, and her eyes react quicker than her mind, seeking out the initiator of this movement. She watches him stand and adjust his clothing; he seemed to have been in the middle of some activity, and she immediately felt a bit guilty for having disturbed him. Her gaze drifts to the exit as she feels inspired to leave, feeling uneasy in the atmosphere and rather lonely. Still, the only expression present on her face remains innocent and gentle, her stare once again resting on the stage. She lets a moment slip after hearing his inquiry, her cheeks warm with a slight flush as she hesitates. "I... N... No. ... No thank.. you. I was.. mm.. just leaving." She speaks as if her voice directs her body. She stands and, finding no other solution ready in her mind to clear the knot from her stomach, she strides quickly from the bar.

Rivven watched her go uncertainly, wondering if perhaps her discomfort had been his fault. He had used to blush and stammer like that a lot when talking to people, hadn't he? He wondered if that had made them feel embarassed and guilty as well, like he sort of was now. With a sigh, he sat, and looked around. No one was here. He should stay, but he was done excersizing, no one was coming but the one girl leaving the doors, and... he stood up and stretched. He would go pay the school a visit, see if Morgan was in there. If not, he'd simply sneak past that dragon and have another look about the place. They'd forgotten last time he was there to get the dragon to let him in.

((I'll be back in a moment.))
"Is that what you were trying to tell me? They came by again. What happened, anything wrong or are you just tensing up with everything coming like I am?" he said, holding the door open for Quintilius to enter first.
