"Please, this is more than enough. Leave us and be on your way. If you lose your life fighting this formidable adversary...," the girl in the middle pleaded until Xeion interrupted her mid-way.

"If I lose my life fighting my teacher's old sparring partner, then that means my teacher wasted her time on me," said Xeion with a smile. "At the very least, I could hold him off long enough for you to regain your strength and get the heck out of here. This person...only wants to protect the town he loves. Allow me to respond to his volition with mine."

Xeion gripped Elena and charged a small amount of reiatsu under his feet before performing a shunpo with which he closed the gap between him and the Vaizard in an instant. He did so not because he wanted to get in a quick strike for he knew full well that Jan-sama had a technique in which he could keep tabs on his opponent regardless of where they were, meaning that an ordinary surprise attack will be useless. Rather, Xeion did so simply because he wanted to interrupt Jan-sama's charging and make it clear where he stood.

Quickly muttering an incantation, Xeion raised his hand and shouted, "Bakudo number sixty-three, Locking Bondage Stripes!" as numerous chains appeared out of nowhere and quickly attempted to wrap themselves around Jan-sama who, despite having prior knowledge on Xeion's location, would probably find it quite different, even surprising, that an opponent would opt to cast a bakudo first instead of just attacking with a weapon when fighting him. He could be wrong though, but if it would deter Jan-sama from charging another one of his death balls, then all well and good.

After casting the bakudo, Xeion once again used a shunpo to distance himself from Jan-sama, he spoke in reply to Jan-sama's previous statements in a cheerful, yet somewhat sarcastic manner. "Sorry about that, Jan-sama. I just find it a little annoying if someone was doing something else when I am speaking. You know how it is, ne?" Xeion laughed. "Well, Jan-sama, while your reason is noble, I'm afraid we are in quite a predicament here. You see, I, too, have something I want to protect and 'this land' is small compared to it...and I'll be damned if I fail to do my part in helping protect it."

When he said the last part of his statement, his sarcasm had already faded and he was serious albeit with a smile. Xeion's words were pure and full of passion while the eyes behind his blue shades reflected upon them that Xeion truly believed in what Genesis was trying to accomplish. His figure did not shake in fear nor his smile falter in the presence of such an experienced opponent; rather, it was calm and composed and emanated such a powerful aura of confidence that those who watched him could not help by be drawn to his words.

If training with Feiy-sama had taught him one thing, then it would be useless fussing too much about the person whom you were fighting against. It would only throw one off his game and fog the reason why he was fighting, be it for pleasure and excitement as with the case of his former mentor, or if it was for others as with the case of himself. To be effective, one needs to have a clear mind so one can fight with his reason to fight always in mind to drive one to do his best. It was one of the lessons Xeion learned from Feiy-sama first-hand through the art of actual combat and how well it has served him since that time when he was still, figuratively speaking, floundering about like a guppy. He was proud to have trained with Feiy-sama.

Returning to his previous super-cheerful state, Xeion once again smiled cutely at the Vaizard while keeping his guard up for anything and everything that may come his way. While he did so, his left hand subtly moved about as if Xeion was playing to pass the time before Jan-sama would reply to him, be it with words or with sword.

"Since you already know our current predicament, I suppose you already know what you need to do, ne? Really, how troublesome this is, hahaha," Xeion giggled followed by a playful wink.

How could this be? It was unthinkable! Inconceivable! The powers that were tearing apart the city were too much to bear. Why was this happening? How could it be happening?

Genji wasn’t told about any of this before he left the Sereitei that morning. Apocalyptic war is something that is worth mentioning. There was a chance that they did this on purpose. If the Shinigami sent to Earth knew what was happening there, a good lot of them would be much less inclined to go and fight, but if they did know what was there, too bad for them. Genji was gullible and overly ecstatic to go on assignment, so he was ripe to be taken advantage of. Or he could have just been in such a rush to get to Earth for some fun that he forgot to fully read the mission briefing. Either could be true, but Genji couldn’t think of which one was right because he was too freaked out by what was going on all around him.

He sensed something he hadn’t felt in a long time. “Could it be?” he mouthed. A driving anxiety took hold of his legs and propelled them to seek out the source of that familiar energy. It was an energy that was very treasured in his heart. Genji hadn’t seen him in ages, Xeion Kuchiki, the man Genji looked up and modeled himself after. He was one of Genji’s treasured friends. When he disappeared Genji was crushed. Now, it may be possible that Genji could reunite with his friend if only he wasn’t too late. He raced to find him. He had to find him. And then…

“Xeion-san…”

Jan stood still, silently watching the exchange, until Xeion made a move. He hadn't been expecting the Shinigami to attack first... But it was a pleasant surprise, and one he was more than ready to respond to.

As the slow chains appeared around Jan, he simply stamped his foot and broke the roof beneath him, falling into the top floor of the building. With a burst of speed, he shot out of the top story's front windows, letting the chains fall through the air, and letting Xeion's words fall there as well.

Ignoring the Shinigami's remarks, Jan released his charged up energy into four miniature suns around him. "Preparation 'Four Crows.'" As they orbited his waist, Jan turned back to Xeion, standing in the air just in front of the now-collapsing building. "I don't give a s**t about what you have to say. All I know is that you're here standing against me and what I'm protecting. For that transgression, I will end you."

At the end of his short sentence, the four light spheres around him began to grow and rise above him. As they grew and spread apart, they began raining light beams and fireballs down below, moving around Jan to strike the knights down below. The light beams seemed to be framing the fireballs, creating a simple yet elegant barrage of heat for Xeion and the knights to dodge through. Xeion was not Jan's primary target, but he could deal with the Shinigami's predictable fighting style if he had to.

While everything ensued within the town, Ky watched as the events unfolded from atop one of the semi-ruined structures of Karakura. He had received word of Xeion being here, fighting with Jan, the Vaizard leader. Even though he was there, he still had no intention of getting involved just yet. He wanted to see for himself just how much Xeion had improved in these past few months after he disappeared, and what else would be a more fitting ginuea pig than Mito, Jan himself. Losing him would be of no significance while the things he would be able to pull out of Xeion would be most interesting indeed.

Being the clever observer that he was, he made sure that he was well hidden both from sight and from other forms of tracking. It helped that he was a Bount which already gave him natural cloaking against methods of tracking that relied on reiatsu tracing, but not one to rest on his laurels, Ky also situated himself specifically at a spot where the mixed reiatsu of fallen shinigami and hollow were the densest to add more to his cloak of invisibility.

"Well now Xeion, show me how far you've gotten in these past three months. Show me the result of your meeting with the KYRIE."

The Fifth Seat of Squad Eleven struggled to push himself up from the ground. He had been forced down by the massive Reiatsu pressures of the Vaizard and his opponent. Even now, the weight of the fighter's Reiatsu pressed down on the Shinigami as he forced himself to his feet, using the wall to move away from the combatants. *I am way out of my league here. I need to get stronger if I want to even look at these guys without being crushed by their Reiatsu.* The Eleventh Squad member escaped from the pressure field of the men and staggered to the gate back to the Seireitei.

With a sigh, Xeion used a shunpo to quickly get to the location of the knights and raised his Elena before him to bend the dimensional threads in order to make several Mirror Force barriers which shielded the entire group like a gigantic umbrella would against the rain. Although the barrage of light and fire was unrelenting, the Mirror Force barriers held, sustaining only a few cracks due to the intensity of the barrage Jan-sama had unleashed.

Most of the projectiles bounced off the surface of the Mirror Force barriers, crashing into random parts of the surrounding area to cause the damage and destruction that was intended for the Knights, but to him as well. The area around them exploded simultaneously, blanketing that part of Karakura Town with a thick plume of dust and smoke. It was so thick that a person inside could not even see within five meters in front of him, but Xeion easily kept tabs on his opponent because his massive reiatsu was something that cannot easily be hidden. Such was one of the cons of having an overabundance of reiatsu, something that even his teacher had a problem had when they were training which was why she made no attempt in hiding it and just tried to overwhelm Xeion with her power until such a time came when even that was not enough to keep Xeion down any more.

A small Dark Mirror opened up discreetly behind Jan-sama before a hand that was shrouded in a golden-colored energy emerged from the void and attempted to tap Jan-sama on the shoulder although as soon as he would turn around to see where it came from, there would be nothing there as if someone were playing a prank on him. The action was intended to be fast and unexpected since the Vaizard was someone who was on the edge and kept his guard up at all times during combat. Still, with the way it was done, there would be a high possibility that Jan-sama would get surprised -- something Xeion was expecting where one of the reasons was because he wanted to have a good laugh. He had no intention of hurting Jan-sama, but that did not mean that he was not going to have a bit of fun with someone whom he considered too serious to be human.

A large gust of wind blew away the remaining smoke and dust to reveal Xeion who was now wielding Azumi, Feiy-sama's reincarnated weapon, with his left hand at the same time wielding Elena, his own zanpakuto, with his right. When that was done, Xeion sheathed Azumi once again then used a shunpo to get in front of Jan-sama, moving away from the protection of the Mirror Force barrier which Xeion had just reinforced to withstand a massive amount of punishment prior to doing so.

"You say that we are getting in the way of you protecting something, but let me ask you, is that really it? Is the land that you're trying to protect the land of Karakura, home to thousands of people, or is it the land you're trying to protect the land of Karakura, the place you could play the Messianic figure?" Xeion asked. "You say you want to protect it, but you did not hesitate to use highly destructive methods of doing so thus adding more damage to an already half-ruined town. Tell me then, does not that make you a hypocrite, Jan-sama?"

Once again utilizing Locking Bondage Stripes, Xeion cast the spell before numerous chains appeared to attempt to lock Jan-sama in place. While it was illogical to use an attack that had failed once before a second time, it was not in Xeion's intention to hurt Jan-sama. Instead, he would rather opt to talk with him and at the same time prevent him from causing more trouble than he was already doing which was why Xeion keeps using the same Bakudo over and over again regardless of its effectiveness until there comes a time when he would be forced to use Elena, Azumi, or both in this encounter. But thankfully, as things stand, Jan-sama had not really given him too much of a reason to do so.

This time, Xeion stayed his place because he did not want to let anybody else hear what he wanted to say and he only wanted him to hear it. "Humans are, in some ways weak and selfish creatures. As soon as it becomes an inconvenience, they resort to destroying it, justifying that action as 'noble' and 'necessary' without even understanding why it is there in the first place. They are one-sided beings capable of thinking only of themselves and their own protection, nothing else. Sad to say, Jan-sama, you're the same as them." Xeion looked at Jan-sama with pity.

"No matter how much you may hide or deny that fact, you are human. You are not important in this world; the world does not revolve around you and it will go on without you; and when you disappear one day, the things you did will soon be forgotten. What you are doing now is pointless, so just give it up. Everything will be over in a few hours, anyway, so why not spend it doing something else besides fighting someone who can take anything you can throw at him?" suggested Xeion, but what he said was true. Xeion never lied about things, so one can only assume where and when exactly will the end start.

"Nii-nii...that's nii-nii, right?" Ringo said to herself when she saw her brother fighting with someone whom she had not met before. Their spiritual pressures were overwhelming, but Ringo held on for as long as she can in despite it all just so she could catch a glimpse of her nii-nii once more. Ringo did not know what was going on or why her nii-nii was doing this, but she felt neither hatred nor disappointment at him. She was just glad he was safe, allowing herself to breathe a sigh of relief after such a long time of parting.

With her last ounce of dwindling energy, Ringo shouted at her brother in the hopes that her voice will reach him. "Nii-nii...!!" she screamed to the top of her lungs before she fell down on the ground exhausted. Her body felt like it was being forced down with a ton of bricks. Ringo found it harder and harder to breathe with each passing minute, but still tried her best to hang on to consciousness. She couldn't allow herself to die here, so she struggled up to her feet and leaned on a nearby wall. Ringo then started to walk slowly in an attempt to get a safe distance away from the fighting and the intense spiritual pressure.

Xeion's preoccupation with Jan-sama shifted when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. When he turned around, he saw his imouto, Rin-chan, down on the ground before struggling to her feet and desperately tried to walk away from the place where he and Jan-sama were. Without hesitating for a minute, even disregarding the fact that Jan-sama might attack from behind, rushed to Rin-chan's aid. She caught him just as she was about to fall for a second time, holding her body gently and protecting her from the spiritual pressure by canceling it out with his own. "Hey there, Rin-chan. If I knew you were here, I would have prepared something for our meeting," he smiled.

Lifting Rin-chan off her feet, Xeion used a shunpo to get to the safest place he could think of at the moment. Since he was worried of stray attacks hitting places far beyond the area where the encounter was supposed to be limited to, Xeion thought it best to place her inside the Mirror Force barrier along with the Knights. While Rin-chan may have doubts with that and disapprove, Xeion knew that she was safe there. He trusted the Knights and their beliefs -- they will not let anything harm an innocent person even if their lives were put on the line for it.

"Rin-chan, I'll be leaving you here for a while. Do not worry, you are safe here. Trust me, okay?" said Xeion, planting a kiss on his adopted imouto's forehead and using a shunpo to get back to where he was before: dealing with Jan-sama. With one less worry off his chest, Xeion found it much easier to fight now than if he would leave Rin-chan to struggle on her own just for the sake of keeping tabs on Jan-sama. He cared too much about other people than to think of himself before them. Rin-chan was someone who did not have to suffer because of a meaningless encounter. She had nothing to do with this.

"Sorry for the little detour. I hope you did not take that as if I was ignoring you, Jan-sama, haha," apologized Xeion and giggled light-heartedly. As much as possible, he wanted to make things feel less like a fight and more like a casual conversation between two people even though the reality was far from that image.

Genji found him, Xeion, his dear friend. What was such a beautiful person doing in this hellish nightmare? Genji was still a fare distance away from him, but he could still see Xeion and, of course, sense his epic reiatsu. The man that Xeion was facing was someone Genji didn't recognize. However, that was not the only one Genji didn't recognize. Xeion...was different somehow.

It made Genji feel cold upon gazing at him for a prolonged time. What was this strange feeling he felt? Certainly, it had been a while since Genji was a member of Squad 9 and worked under Xeion It had been even longer since Genji saw him, given Xeion's tendency to go off somewhere.

Genji was frightened beyond control. He couldn't find the function to run within his brain. He was froze in place with his eyes transfixed on the two strangers. Luckily, a sudden burst of energy came alive in him and ignited his common sense once again. He ran. He was out of his league here. This was captain level fighting! He was only a forth seat. Genji felt sick about running from Xeion like this after it being so long since they last met, but something inside Genji warned him that things were going to get a lot worse.

((Uh-Oh~! Xeion's done it now~! <:3c ))<******** s**t- You- You stupid a*****e!" Jan shouted as the Solar Barrage was deflected into greater Karakura. He canceled the firing sequence of his Four Crows, leaving the massive orbs hanging in the air above him. When the hand tapped him on the shoulder and vanished, Jan completely lost any semblance of calm. As Xeion cleared away the smoke with an all-too-familiar blade, he began to yell in hysterics. "You idiot! Didn't you get it?! I was firing into the mob of knights because there are no residents of Karakura in there! I watched them evacuate! I've been limiting myself since the very start of this whole incident to avoid harming the Shinigami I was fighting alongside and the humans around us! Do you honestly think I would have gone all-out if I thought I would cause collateral damage?! I swept the area to be sure, but now I can't guarantee that there haven't been any human casualties! Any humans who have been incinerated... Their lives will be on your head!"

Further enraged by Xeion's usage of Feiy's old sword, Jan released a fifth Crow with the energy remaining in his body, timing the release to counter the arrival of more chains, which were instantly vaporized by their contact with the surface of a star. "You've interfered with my protection of Earth... You've doomed a number of humans to a fiery death... You've even dragged my most prized companion's name through the mud! I will ensure that your existence will end on this day!" Charging light energy through his body with the power of nuclear fusion, Jan shouted in Xeion's direction with enough rage and volume to make sure the knights would hear him as well. "Since you so obviously don't give a ******** if the humans survive to see tomorrow... I'm make sure you won't see the end of this very hour!" The Five Crows were called out of their movement and formed a slowly-spinning circle around him, feeding him with their energy. Holding his hands and weapons out in front of him, Jan let the white-hot Reiatsu flow through his body and into his blades.

"...You'd better get off your high horse... All of you. You talk of selfishness, but I have never hidden it. You talk of destruction, and I have always embraced it. You talk of self-preservation, but I have always granted it to those whom I see on Earth in the hopes of death. You say I am not important, and I will be forgotten... But it's not as if the humans have ever known me in the first place, almost all of my comrades are dead or traitors, and the Shinigami of today only know of my power, not my accomplishments. Being forgotten would be a blessing. You talk of a... A messiah complex. It's true that I am looking to die... But it could never be at the hands of garbage like you. I have known my true self, flaws and all, for hundreds of years. What about you?" He sounded strangely calm, but it was because Jan had made up his mind. He would make sure that the knights and Xeion were stopped right here. "How willing will you be at the end of your existence?"

Filled with resolve, he stopped sucking in energy from his Crows and took aim with his weapons. Even as Xeion moved to capture a random Shinigami in an act he could only see as trying to dissuade him from attacking, Jan only took the chance to charge even more energy into his attack. He needed a single blast... A single blast that no small rips in space could ever hope to defend against. Every last extra bit of charge time improved his chances. "You shouldn't have done that... Now your captive Shinigami will die with the rest of you. I'm not concerned about a single hostage... You've already held my entire life's work hostage. Now... I must succeed."

Finally reaching his peak charge, Jan grinned as he released his energy in a single shot. "Galactic Emission 'Quasar.'" Firing the built-up photons as a single blast of energy, Jan knew the large blast had far too great an energy density to be stopped or reflected by the shields. With the light force attack, anything solid that came in contact with it was reduced to energy particles and swept into the attack, and all the air molecules between himself and his targets would serve to strengthen the beam on its path. With this, he would raze his enemies with a single blow... And any that weren't killed by the attack itself would surely lose their lives in the wave of heat that followed it.

((Xeion and the Knights are destroying what Jan has spent both his entire life and afterlife working for... And seeing Azuhi in anyone's hands other than Feiy's isn't helping matters. As it's obviously painful for him to see Karakura and the entirety of the human race be subjugated this way, he's already become enraged to kill. Don't take any of his words in here or my next posts personally!))

((Wow. @_@))

Ringo's heart jumped when her nii-nii had taken her in his arms and the blonde let out a small "Eeep!" since she was surprised by that sudden action. Before she realized it, she was already inside one of her nii-nii's Mirror Force barriers with the knights whom she was briefed as the enemy, yet their actions indicated otherwise. "What does this mean? Does nii-nii know these guys?"

Ringo asked herself over and over again in order to try and make sense of everything. She was about to tell her brother of the thoughts that troubled her head when she felt his warm lips touch against her forehead. The questions in her head went completely blank and her face turned bright red. "Nii...nii...," were the only words she could utter during the length of time her brother's lips were connected to her forehead. She felt so calm and so peaceful that she wanted this moment to last for as long as it can.

When he turned away to go back to fighting, Ringo was about to grab her nii-nii's hand in an attempt to stop him, but was too late when he used a shunpo. "Oh...," she mumbled and turned her gaze up only to see a giant laser headed straight for them. It looked so big and intimidating that it was stupid not to get scared of it. Ringo was terrified of it, but she believed that everything will be okay. In her own way, she decided to help her nii-nii out in the best way she can.

Ringo released her zanpakutou's shikai when she said, "Showtime, Senritsu Oto!" Her kodachi changed form into a silver flute while her shinigami robes turned into her favorite short red kimono. She then started to play a tune based on her nii-nii's biorhythm and give him that much needed boost to face something of that magnitude. Every note she and Senritsu Oto played pierced through the shields and entered directly into her nii-nii's body, invigorating him. She did not want to die and she knew, if nii-nii was there, they would get through even the toughest of situations alive. She had already seen it several times before in Las Noches. This time was no different from back then.

Seeing that Jan was about to unleash an attack of epic proportions, Ky smirked. "So it seems you finally managed to tick Jan off, eh, Xeion? I would have expected you to have done it sooner. The guy really needs an anger management therapist," he said to himself, turning away from the sight into an awaiting Black Gate just behind him. Expecting things to escalate to this level, Ky summoned it before he made himself comfortable watching the fight.

While he could sense that Xeion had grown so much in just three months, he was disappointed that he had not been able to see it. Right now, his better judgment told him it was time to go because he knew that staying in this place would be suicide. There would be more chances to see this new Xeion in action. Personally, he liked his transition from when he was before. At first, he was just annoying. But now, although he was still annoying, he now had the style to make it all the more interesting.

Just as he was about to step foot inside the gate, Ky's cellular phone rang. It was from one of his military personnel. Despite the absence of cellular sites because they were either malfunctioning or destroyed, Ky's phone was still operational mainly because it was a miniature satellite phone of KyCorp's own design after months of research prior to its construction to help build the most advanced mass-produced war-time mobile communication devices in the history of 21st Century modern warfare.

The phone was part of the standard issue equipment all KyCorp-affiliated personnel carried during this time of war.Titanium encased to withstand the toughest of drops and bullet impacts with a built-in tracking device, GPS system, and the power of a supercomputer that fit on the palm of the hand. It was everything a hardcore outdoor freak could ask for.

"Make it quick," Ky said as soon as he answered the phone to which the person on the other end complied by telling him the gist of his report. While speaking to him, Ky had already entered the Black Gate and was now closing, but before it did, he snickered. "Good work. Continue with your route and return to base as quickly as you can along with the packages. Do it as fast as you can. I'll be there shortly."

((Silly Jan-sama, no need to apologize. Of course it is fine. xd
However, since we're following a limited time here, as much as I would enjoy dealing with your awesome attack, we'll have to move on so as to meet the April deadline. I'm sorry, Jan-sama.))

Xeion felt his body's power increase when his sister, Rin-chan, began playing her flute. He smiled when his ears once again heard the soft and sweet melody that made his body feel new again. Sadly, with that new power pulsing through his veins, Xeion did not intend on using its benefits to counter the attack in any way or form. Instead, he planned on using it in another way, that is, summoning a giant Dark Mirror to quickly move the squad of Knights, his sister, and himself out of harm's way to the place where Genesis was going to stage the final part of their plan. Their mission here was already complete anyway, so there was no more need to stay here any longer. The reason why was because he just wanted to buy enough time so the Knights could escape via a teleportation spell, but with Rin-chan's help, he knew that he did not need to wait for that any more.

Using the time Jan-sama had given him from when he was charging his powerful attack, Xeion used a shunpo to get back to where the Knights and his Rin-chan were. "" Xeion exclaimed and began summoning a large Dark Mirror as the dimensions beneath them pulsed, vibrated, and bended to produce a void that slowly became larger and larger. It took time, that much was true, but it was considerably much faster than Jan-sama's charge attack. It was clear that by the time he was finished, they were already in the clear.

With a few seconds in between Jan-sama's firing of his fully charged attack of immense power since it had the word 'quasar' in it, an object with immense power; the Dark Mirror was complete as the entire group began to get sucked into the Dark Mirror dimension. The area around them started to haze over to signify the rapid disconnection from the current dimension caused by the large Dark Mirror. Before they were completely engulfed by the dimensional shift though, Xeion looked up at Jan-sama.

"You are quick to blame others, Jan-sama. Let me ask, to whom did the energy barrage belong to? If you really were limiting yourself, you would have thought ahead before you unleashed such a powerful attack," Xeion explained.

"No, Jan-sama -- their blood, if any was spilled, is not on my hands. You had the chance to cancel your attack, but you continued, and that lack of foresight is what caused it. What I did was simply in defense, I have many times said that you limit your qualm with me, not with the Knights, yet you continued to attack them of your own volition. Be that because of some misplaced pride or some desperate act to convince yourself that only you are in the right, only you can answer. Justify it as you had just justified you firing that highly destructive shot from before and now..."

Then Jan-sama fired his attack as it quickly closed the gap from Jan-sama to the group. The dimensional disconnection, too, was also complete by this time as well, but Xeion's words could still pierce through although it was becoming more and more disembodied as their physical forms disappeared from the current dimension.

"...try justifying that the so-called protector of Karakura, with his hand that was clouded with hate and disillusion, destroyed the land he said he would protect."

The transportation of the group via the Dark Mirror was completed a split second before the attack touched the ground where they were previously. A gigantic explosion soon engulfed the town of Karakura and several miles of the surrounding area, incinerating everything with massive destructive force. Houses, trees, hills, buildings -- everything that had any relation to Karakura, destroyed in a split second. By this time though, only Jan-sama, in all of his radiant power, could have survived such an explosion of biblical proportions, but that also meant that he was the first one to gaze upon the destruction he himself had wreaked with his own hand. As hard as he may try to deny it, the once vibrant Karakura Town was now just a barren and empty land in the middle of a massive crater.

Sadness. Unbearable sadness.

((You really shouldn't assume so many things about other people's RPing... It's pretty annoying to have to make my next post basically a clean up of the mess you've left me. Quasar isn't even an exploding attack... It's a piercer, meant to get through barriers.))

Jan didn't really care that Xeion had run away, for some reason. Perhaps the release of power from his body was all the stress relief he really needed. Plus, he was also convinced that the Shinigami was wrong with his analysis... He was, after all, on the enemy side. Obviously, that made him a fool to Jan. Who would knowingly oppose him aside from a death-seeker like himself besides a fool?

As he lazily hovered away, Jan surveyed the damage below. The Shinigami had tried to take him for a guild trip, but Jan's Quasar was a very self-contained attack. The ground the knights had stood on was vaporized to a depth of several dozen meters below the surface, and the buildings nearby had some layers of soot on their walls, but even this district of Karakura was far from destroyed.

That Xeion had even tried to pin the blame on him for his deflected barrage when he'd stopped it as soon as he was able to. It wasn't like he was so willing to get at the knights as to compromise his true objective, that being the protection of the humans.

Dismissing his Crows with the sealing of his Zanpakuto and inner Hollow, Jan sheathed his swords. Floating down to the ground and adjusting his glasses on his face, he used the remainders of his energy to sweep the area for wounded or straggling humans. "...Better get to work. Thanks to that punk, I have a lot to do now..."

((Blah blah exit to Home.))

Jan-san

The Generic Villain

((Well, the way you described it sounded so destructive and you know, not everyone is knowledgeable in the field of nuclear physics like you, Jan-sama, so gomen on that. xp ))

The level of energy saturation for the entire Karakura area, in addition to it being a naturally spiritually-attuned place, was astronomically high. If something from the spirit world were to try and manifest itself here, then it would most likely be successful. This was the case with the next series of events that happened only a few hours after the 'violent confrontation' between Jan-sama and the Genesis Knights had.

An energy source from above the clouds shot down like a beam to the ground, parting the clouds and illuminating the sky with a golden light for several minutes. A ball of energy appeared in the middle of the light and descended to the part where the light touched the ground. An insurmountable amount of energies filled the town for a split second soon after the ball of energy made landfall, but soon disappeared when the ball of energy absorbed it all in a grand light show that ended with an extremely bright flash. It was after this flash that a figure of a naked man appeared, basked in light that made his appearance indistinguishable other than the fact that he was a being of pure energy in human form.
