James looked around the room. "So, why don't you have a proper mat?, I'm sure they'd provide one if you asked."
Imerius's phone began to ring after several hours of being on hold. "Hi!" Said a familiar voice. The voice was feminin, and had a bounce in its tone."How are you?"

Imerius scratched his head. "I've lived outdoors since I was five. I guess I just got used to no having a bed. My hair used to be long a matted before Auntie held me down long enough for Trent to cut it." He stared at the phone, curious. He had only had one phone in his life and that was from his assassin days. When he heard the voice, he perked up visibly. "Wow! Ash! Didn't think you would be able to call this fast. How are things down there? It is a nightmare here. They brainwash people. Brainwash them!"

"It's alright over here, you had to leave at the worst time, there's a time traveler!" She said with a smile in her voice. Her voice suddenly sounded concerned. "Seriously, like Maria bad, or what?"

Imerius thought hard. "More like we should be kissing Nero's fat a** cause he is holy and we are lowly demons, bad. And his baby brother makes him look like a kindly grandpa. Time travel, eh? Well, don't go back in time and erase yourself. Um, is Nemo gone? Evidently we had a prototype from the same maker here and we just shipped him off. I'm worried. It seems like Omni hooked up with an apocalyptic demon robot. Nym and I think there is a possibility that the other bot could have reprogrammed Omni."

((Um.. Ashley knows who Nym is remember? They had a phone conversation together...also...I think the timing is off for her to be talking about a time traveler...let me check...))

Imerius started to shake his head before he realized that he was on the phone. "I dunno. There was a robot that was trying to destroy the city. We scrapped it, but someone ordered it to be taken in to be examined. Apparently it was more advanced than current technology. Nym said something about the two of them talking and repairing each other or something like that. That thing killed a tracer too."
((Retto was killed and he was a tracer right?))

"A tracer? Isn't that like against the rules?" She asked."Nem...Omni shouldn't be able to go against his own programming, so if he did reprogram him, you would notice that his personality fovored that of the evil-er one."

Imerius sighed. "That is the part that worries me, Ash. Nym and I don't know what we are doing. Her specialty isn't in robotics or computers. She is more vehicular and weapons. I know a few things about computers, but I lack the experience that the two of you gained by attending college without harassment. Omni was mimicking the other robot a little bit, but he seemed to have a change of heart. Nym was worried that he would rebel against a shut down and brought me for muscle. The robot affiably shut down with little persuasion. He had an attitude change, and it wasn't programed by any of us. It gives me chills."

Death was beginning to get extremely impatient 'this is worse then when I had went to sleep for half a century, and worse off, I bet those fleshies that beat me have been referring to me as a robot... Im an android, far superior to autonomous drones'

Imerius nodded to an unheard voice in the phone. "Yeah you too. Maybe, if Nero ever lets you off, you should come up for a visit. I don't think Claude will let me come back. Yeah. Take care of her. She needs us youngsters. Talk to you later. Bye." Imerius hung up the phone and returned his attention to James. "Sorry about that. Make yourself at home."

Omni's self reboot took effect. Death had only been instucted to wake him up if his reboot failed for some reason. "I take it we are now headed towards my creator?" He asked. "We have much preparation to do."
Ashley's smile could be heard over the phone. "See ya." She said as their call ended.
James nodded situating himself on the desk that was bolted to the floor so that noone would replace it. It was common knowledge that most every government issued items had some form of bug on them to prevent treason. 'This bed isn't as comfortable as the pad in my cell.' He complained to himself.
