When all three kits woke, Spottedberry and Ferncloud led them from the den and began to play with them, flicking their tails for them to chase and such.

Caramelwind looked as Ferncloud and Spottedberry left the nursery. "Good morning! And good morning kits!" She purred, throwing her fresh kill in the pile.

"Hi Caramelwind!" Shrewkit squeaked and ran over to her, almost tripping over his clumsy kit paws.
Spottedberry sat down beside Ferncloud. "Good morning, how is the prey running today?"
"Yeah! Tell us!" Shrewkit meowed running in circles around her as Fawnkit sat beside her mom and Thrushkit seemed interested in something unimportant.

"Quite good actually. I think the hunting patrol will be out soon enough." Caramelwind meowed to the queen then looked at the kit, Shrewkit. "And morning to you, cutie."

"Hi!" He smiled and sat up straight in front of her, his tail stuck upward into the air and Ferncloud chuckled with Spottedberry sitting comfortably next to her.

Shrewkit smiled happily, he glanced back at his mom before his head whipped around to look at Caramelwind. She was so big compared to him! Like dad and mom.
"He's quite the character." Spottedberry commented.

"And a handful." Ferncloud smiled as Shrewkit bounced in circles of excitment then rushed off to bug Blizzardclaw who just returned with fresh-kill. "But he'll make a good warrior one day, he has so much energy!"
Fawnkit looked over to Shrewkit and then raced after him, suddenly curious as to what he was doing.

"Indeed he will. The whole clan is lucky to have such an exciteful kit." Caramelwind smiled. "I wish i could have had the chance your having now. To have kits and watch them grow. Or i sometimes wish i could have had a mate. But i don't regret my choice at all. Now i can watch all of you as my kits, right?" She then added; "Ferncloud, your so much trouble. Jeez...." Caramelwind said sarcastically.

Ferncloud smiled. "Sorry." she sarcastically shot back. She flicked her tail with amusement.
"I should go hunting..." Spottedberry meowed suddenly. "I'm taking Shadowpaw out today." He added. "I'll see you two later." He added as he padded away to the apprentice den.
