I leave this Saturday for Basic actually....I'm gonna bring my computer but god knows if I'll be able to use it at all as regularly as I do.
I went to the gym Saturday with my friend from recruit camp (he's up here until the 8th! He has the same date as me, so I hope he's in my platoon thing).
He showed me how to do all these things!
I did legs..and now they KILL XD I've been stretching all morning.
Though I took him to the pool after, and he can't swim so well. ^.^;; poor guy.
If you have any muscle at all you'll sink. In swim lessons I teach the boys how to hold their breath a bit more during floats so it doesn't happen. o.o
Lol the ONE double standard benefit to having a naturally higher body fat content/muscle ratio! Go GIRLS! Woo

Lol, funny thing about the water. I didn't know how to swim until I joined the Navy.
Now I can float, "torpedo" myself underwater and actually tread water, is that the correct word for it? when you are in deep water but don't sink. Its not float but another word for it.

Yes, the correct term is treading water if you have to move your legs to keep your head up. My dad can't float on his back at all, however I LOVE SWIMMING...but I havent in a long while (I should start up) I still remember several strokes, but the best part was holding your breath and trying to cross the pool, the short distance, in a single breath.
