Hebal hesitated glancing around uncertainly "Umm... I dunno if it's really a good idea but, sure I suppose I'll take a look around at the other stuff available" she eventually cheered while she made a mental note to go for the cheapest garment possible that she thought looked nice "Though you guys don't need to take care of me just cause I'm not a millionnaire unlike you guys" she giggled.
Seph slowly nodded providing chobi with a gentle poke to the wing "Suppose so but there might just be one really talented fighting chocobo and their knight. Never mind all that though, all the chocobo talk we've been having has given me the urge to take her out for a run since we have pleanty time to kill before we have to eat" she pondered returning the nuzzle.

Hayate smiled seeing that Hebal was ok with his offer "Better give the store a proper look good then to have two offers on the table for you. Doesn't have to be a posh get up either just because the prices are. Though being a millionnaire isn't that big a deal really anymore you know, I'm hardly classified as rich"
Satoshi scratched her head watching Enkidu for a moment while she loosened her pet snake's grip on her arm "Let me think about it a moment... Hitomi joined like a week after Takeo so when I was 17 I would say. The team mate she was replacing got seriously injured resulting in paralysis and loss of the ability to walk" she explained with a sigh of her own "Being a ninja is tough work, if you have pleanty time for courting, chances are you're slacking off a bit"
Alanu shook her head again performing a small bakflip in the air "I won't be working in the morning, I'll be sleeping probably. They have to give us time off and we all have to take it in turns doing the not so pleasent shift times and all so its reasonably fair. No fights will be on in the morning anyway" she shrugged rubbing her tail.

Zadina giggled "You sound pretty rich to me Mr Hayate but don't worry about it Miss Hebal" he said "I want Amane to have as much money as possible when she goes on her pilgramige so its best you keep your money besides would be a shame not to get anything on a super fun shopping spree." he said.
Gil chuckled "I suppose I should consider myself lucky you were so busy since fate decided to spare you for me" he said kissing her hair "Still it's a shame to hear about your teammate, must've been a very tough mission." he said
Mari nodded "Sounds like a nice plan but I'll get see you tomorrow at the big....party thing in the evening right? Would be a shame if didn't get to see you again before we left, I think Sophia is fond of you anyway" she said watching Sophia attempt to jump and catch Alanu by bouncing slightly on the bed.
Itaka nodded "Sure just....give me 5 or 10 more minutes to rest these weary bones of mine don't quite think I'm 100% yet and don't wanna show up all beaten for dinner" he sighed somewhat ashamed "Wonder what we'll have to eat tonight anyway" he pondered

Seph shrugged rubbing her hands together in thought "I dunno either but could be a bit of everything unless its all gria cuisine which is mainly eggs and bird meats that aren't chocobos, they even eat some dragons I hear. Who cares though for food is food and if your not up for taking Chobi out I could always stay here and look after you a little more" she offered glancing at his injuries.
Hebal shook her head skipping around the group a couple of times as part of her looking around "You so are rich Hayate but ya don't feel it cause your so used to haninging around with a bunch of even richer people like Felina and Zadina. You two are still all mega generous at least cause loads of rich folk are all stingy and mean and would expect Amane to spend years working as a toilet cleaner or something to fnd her pilgramige" she smiled leaping over one of the clothes racks.

Hayate gasped keeping hold of the clothes rack Hebal very nearly knocked over with her foot "woah don't get too excited there Hebal you need to save some energy for later" he chuckled following her around without the leaping "Elves are pretty much the most well off people anyway so it's not so big by elf standards. Though cleaning toilets may I add is a perfectly decent job when you consider someone has to do it for us or else everyone will smell"
Satoshi nodded lowering her head in shame "Yeah that mission was a huge failure and resulted in 5 deaths since there were multiple teams involved. The guy Takeo was replaced was one of them, we were ambushed by a small army of ninja after one of our lot defected and gave away our location and mission details" she quietly explained as she stroked Enkidu with her foot "Lets move on from that topic though..."
Alanu smirked swooping down and picking up Sophia in her arms "Aww well thats certainly cute of her but sure you shall probably see me about during the closing ceremony or later one during the day I bet, it's not that big an arena. The second one won't be used at all after today" she answered taking the tonberry on a gentle flight around the room.

Zadina giggled leaping through the clothes in the rack and re-emerging out the other side to keep up with Hebal "Yeahuh Miss Hebal but Amane won't need to go through any of that because of your awesomeness!" he said happily.
Gil frowned cuddling Satoshi gently "Ok forget about it," he said stroking her hair "Does your village ever hire mercenaries like me for especially hard missions?" he asked.
Mari smiled seeing Sophia wave her arms happily in the air "I suppose so thats fine still after today there's only 4 fighters it won't go on very long you know?" she said.
Itaka chuckled "Easy Seph you can sink you fangs in soon enough" he said groaning as he turned the ice on a particularly tender burn "I'll be fine soon then we can go out don't worry though I certainly like nurse Seph's treatment" he chuckled

Seph rolled onto her side noticing the burn that seemed to be bothering Itaka "I know, I know, in just a couple of hours I can eat a whole resturant full of food though if you think it would help I could bandage up one or two of the more serious burns for you not that I am really a nurse or a medical expert though it may help"
Hebal grinned high fiving Zadina the moment he emerged from the rack "Suppose we don't wanna smell but we could all just clean up after ourselves. But never mind that Amane is happy and hopefully real soon I'm going to take her on her first mini adventure outside the forest. Though hopefully Yennytai and Milly won't get all lonely while she's gone"

Hayate quietly groaned seeing how much energy Hebal still had to turn heads "They won't be lonely just because Amane is gone. No doubt she plays with them along with her friends.. Ardie and Melanae was it? And maybe if you were to have an elixer you could get her loads of diamonds for her journey. Though out of curiousity where do you plan on taking Amane for adventure?"
Satoshi shook her head lying back against Gil's arms "Nope. Almost always the village will just send its own elite ninjas unless the mercenary in question gives them an amazing deal of some sort where they are practically working for free. Why were you thinking of working with me?" she asked trying to take her mind off things.
Alanu paused focusing for a moment on tightening her grip on Sophia "Actually theres 8 tomorrow so theres a total of 5 matches in order to determine who comes first second and third. We let 2 from every group go through to the next around though it takes forever to decide which 2 if loads of people do well like this year"

Zadina giggled "Yeap yeap we're gonna take her away on a royal visit but really where could we take her....would need to talk to Cap'n Alpha otherwise he wouldn't take us anywhere and be really nice to him" he said
Gil smiled happily "Well sure I would work for a low price for your village besides I'd like to think I've got more skill than most elite ninja's when it comes to combat" he chuckled "I suppose I could be stealthy too with different gear" he pondered.
Mari smiled closing her eyes and stretching out on the bed seeing Sophia was safe watching Ivy tail Alanu on her flight "Well a few more fights wouldn't be so bad would be like 2 each if 4 competitors go through right? Provided the folk aren't injured too badly to fight." she said happily.
Itaka sighed panting slightly "Its alright just gimme a minute I'll be fine" he grumbled "Then we can go and fly whereever you want as a pleasant treat for your victory maybe some ice cream for ya" he chuckled

Hebal nodded saluting her friends and almost knocking a handbag from its shelf in the process "Yeahuh thats the plan though I am always super nice to Alpha though we don't really have anything in common so we don't tend to chatter all that much. Though he's well travelled so might know a good place... so are you at that Hayate so where do you think is a good place to go adventuring"
Seph laughed giving Itaka a gentle nudge on the arm away from his injuries "Thats a better attitude to have, the moany depressed Itaka doesn't suit you" she teased flapping her wings so that she could hover over him "No need to treat me though and I don't mind where we fly. Should just go somewhere Chobi would like to fly to within reason"

Hayate paused slightly surprised by Hebal's evaluation "I don't ever recall telling you I had travelled all over the globe but I know Alpha is probably more well travelled than me coming from the demon world and all. I would say just take her somewhere different to a forest since she's been in one in like forever. It also depends on what you want to do" he answered uncertain as to how Hebal and Zadina were going to entertain Amane.
Satoshi laughed trying to imagine Gil in the full body suit that was one of the ninja uniforms "Nah sorry. Your a good warrior type guy but ninja fights work quite a lot differently to the ones your used to. It's more about initiative and cunning rather than strength, still it would be funny to see them try and find you a perfect fitting uniform and I wasn't joking about the extremely low pay"
Alanu turned her head slightly and slowed down the flight for Ivy to keep up "The format is simple, all eight are paired up and then the four winners become semi finalists and those who win that go to the final and the other two fight it out to come third. Might be you who gets to do all that and if ya do no doubt you'll be offered some kind of magazine deal and the like"

Zadina quickly steadied the handbag Hebal almost knocked off it's shelf "Yeahuh maybe he can take us somewhere super for the Dragon Festival" he said happily "It won't be difficult to show Amane a good time if she just wants to see anything outside the forest" he chuckled.
Gil smirked "Hey now not all my missions are slashing and stuff I've had to organise defences and coordinate attacks before in place of generals so I got some tactical thinking and planning" he chuckled snuggling Satoshi "Besides I think I'd look quite fetching in one of those body suits" he said.
Mari raised an eyebrow "Oh? I thought only 4 people went through to the final day....odd that but I suppose it gives me more chance to get through but I don't need any magazine deals really" she said
Itaka smiled "I know I'm not that bad and fine you can treat me seeing as I'm the wounded soldier" he said reaching up to stroke Seph's tail "Should just let Chobi fly free....but not to the chocobo racetrack again" he added remembering how it turned out last time.

Seph nodded laughing harder as she recalled the experience of the racetrack "Yeah maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to let her go there though may I remind you that she did actually win that race and thats the only reason the other chocobos were so upset. But sure I'll treat you to something good too if it will keep you from frowning so much" she panted a little as she calmed herself down and wagged her tail.
Hebal raised her eyebrow curious as to what Zadina was doing with the handbag "You travelled that much? I just assumed since you came from the desert continent place and ended up in Yithra you must have gone about a little but whatever! I just want to take Amane somewhere fun and on a trip she totally couldn't forget about. Like to a zoo or a water park or something fun like that"

Hayate scratched his head while he helped Zadina out by pushing the bag away from the edge of the shelf "There aren't that many places that have good zoos unless you go to bangaa country where they are more common at least. Though why not take her to a moogle city maybe? They are cute people and their houses float even more than this place in sky cities" he suggested.
Satoshi smiled patting Gil's upper arms and chest "Sure you wouldn't look too bad in it since it sort of clings to you and your quite a muscular guy but... you would start out in a dark green uniform which isn't really your colour. Still what sort of tactical missions did you do? Don't tend to hear so much about the jobs which don't involve slashing and stuff"
Alanu nodded suddenly changing direction to see if it would confuse Ivy at all "Yeah two people from each group of winners will be going through this year but ok ok no magazine deals. Some people just like those since they pay highly plus its a basic way to get known for a good 15 minutes"

Zadina gasped "Moogle city would be wonderful I bet Amane would just be walking down the street feeding kupo nuts all day!" he said happily "Though really it's all up to where Cap'n Alpha is willing to take us" he said.
Gil smiled "Well I organised ambushes and coordinated assaults but I fought on the frontlines too ya know there wasn't a single mission where I just stood back and watched troops" he said "I was leader of a mercenary unit in some big conflicts." he chuckled.
Mari watched laughing slightly as Ivy bumped into Alanu as she changed direction before dizzily floating down to the bed "Well I'm in no desperate need for money but I don't read magazines so nothing really interesting for me there" she shrugged picking up Ivy and kissing her before nursing her.
Itaka chuckled "Yeah they were jealous but like I said Chobi is a racing Chocobo she can go really fast just a shame she didn't get on with those ones but you could always race her one day if you liked" he said
