I know, my thoughts exactly...
I do remember a time a little after the Tsunami hit Southeast Asia. there was a 9.5 Earthquake a few miles off the coast...there was a HUGE Tsunami warning hitting every local news station in Cali. I think: "There is no way, its too close to gather strength to even become a tidal wave for surfers." Didn't stop anyone from my fam starting to pack their bags and praying to god. Hell, people in Hawaii had nothing to worry about.
