darkmag07 Sorry bout your wrist. Did you pre-order Ranger and get Manaphy?
No, but there is a code you can use get once you defeat the Go-Rock Squad and have access to the Ranger Net where you can receive a special mission to rescue a Manaphy egg that can then be transferred to Diamond or Pearl. I'm not too far off it, actually, I've just got to remember to keep playing it. xD
Crenu: Ranger is a lot different than the other Pokemon games we're used to, and if you lose your stylus, you're screwed. razz I enjoy it, actually, as it's fun to temporarily capture Pokemon to get their help and then let them go again, not to mention that Electric-types are the most useful types in the whole game - you totally need them to survive and keep your capture styler charged. 3nodding

I pre-ordered ranger, but they never called about it, so I thought I hadn't, and bought it.
Then I lost it. >.<; Then I got D and P, and they told me I had reserved it! Now I can just get it back. biggrin
Aw, sorry about your wrist, Aire. I know the feeling. [Before I lost it, I played that game every day for like, five hours. xD]

I may have to investigate this 'Pokemon Ranger' game then. I can't say how many times I've almost lost my stylus. It doesn't stick in very well. Probably because I chewed on it a little. >.<

I'm guilty of that too, Mag... one of our styluses doesn't even stay in at all anymore because it's chewed too badly. >.<; We did go out and buy a pack of extras though, so we have about 4-5 spare ones in the GBA game case. Plus, I even gave one to my friend because her dog ate her DS's stylus. gonk
Mike: Fire Pokemon burn down obstacles like logs and giant bales of hay, and more powerful ones, like Houndoom, can melt piles of scrap metal. 3nodding Coincidently, Water-types put out fires and can cool down pools of molten lava, and many others can use various powers, like Cut, Rock Smash, Strength, etc. You can even use Tangela to swing Tarzan-style from post to post if you can't reach the other side any other way. xD

I lost my first stylus from too much chewing and only have the spare one now. I should buy a new pack but I'm too poor at this point in time. Though I've got an extra stylus from a Sudoku thing my parents gave me as a stocking stuffer. And I never play it...
Well... I guess I'm off to bed. So have a great evening everyone!

Sounds like an interesting game. I like the practical usage of Pokemon.

Mikallen Sounds like an interesting game. I like the practical usage of Pokemon. Me too, because essentially, Rangers aren't trainers at all, but they do call upon Pokemon to help them.
The one thing though is that the Go-Rock Squad is definitely annoying. But what's a Pokemon game without an annoying organization serving as a constant thorn in your side?

Well, there's a difference between a cool band of bad guys (Rocket, Magma, Aqua) than a group of retarded unoriginal morons (Galactic, and apparently Go-Rock).
I seriously need to rant about how stupid Galactic is one of these days.

I, for one, think that Team Rocket was the only team worth anything, as I didn't like Team Aqua or Magma's idiotic plans one little bit. I can't really say anything on Team Galactic yet, as I've only played a little of Pearl, and I'm still waiting for someone to finish Ranger so I can steal borrow it from her at a later date.

I find it rather amusing that you're all talking about Pokemon Ranger, but for only reasons that I and a few others know of right now. whee
I have to say that I love the game, it's fun and I love playing it over and over. I haven't bothered to transfer my Manphy egg over to my Diamond yet. xD;;

Well, I think that expanding the land/sea to make more space for people/Pokemon is at least a new ploy that no 'evil' organization has done before. But I will admit to being biased to Magma's incredibly good taste in Pokemon types to specialize in.
Trust me Andy, you'll want to jam your stylus into your DS when you have to suffer through Galactic's crap.

Not like you had to admit that you were biased. xd
And hell no, I don't have that kind of money to be replacing my DS if I break it. Seriously, no touchy. I'll just pummel them into the ground with my ugly monkey thing and be done with them. whee
