Alright im tried of hearing this, Kage Crew are not just crew to manage a village idk where this bias had came from but i'm tired of it. Kage Crew are better crew then generic crew. Kage Crew have direct access to the village and the members and their needs. They are right in their knowing what works and what doesn't work and have valuable knowledge to help. It use to be the ONLY crew were Kages, we slowly added more people to deal with the work load like customs so Kages could focus on their village. Now it seems to the point where they are like the sick people you need to isolate. Kage Crew are more important then general crew, general crew was made to help out the Kage Crew not to do their job. So they don't need to be treated like second class crew.

But I mean it used to be more that the Kage crew were also actively approving|denying things and the regular crew were few in number but very active

actually, just the other day I went through custom stuff, to see what hasn't been looked at, and there is an application for a style from April that has yet to be responded to.

But that is a problem. A kage should not be named on their rpc abilities alone because as a Kage you have a responsibility now outside of just rping to know what is going on int he guild and to work as crew to actively shape and regulate things. To name them crew only for the reason of subforum editting when the 'full crew' is pretty inactive in terms of fulfilling their tasks, then perhaps it is time to return to the old system, which was working quite fine and activity was higher. Freedom is a luxury we can no longer afford to just leisurely give to people. I mean seriously look at the rpc's that have risen in the guild and then imprint the rules of the Naruto universe on them and see how many actually hold up. None are excluded from this...especially the more powerful ones.

I just repeat what i've been told by people higher in the chain than myself.
i was told kage crew were just there to manage there village. so i pass on that message.

I agree, though many villages don't have high-ranked shinobi as a replacement, and although I'd love to see the Kage-rank as a challenging process, we don't always have a suitable replacement, and sometimes we have to hope for the best whenever it comes along.

Though tbh, I still think we should close down a few villages and focus on central activity... I feel like since the Sound and Rain re-opened the guild has been slowly dying... just my opinion.

It all really depends on two things:

1. The leader knowing the time that they're going to go inactive so we can prepare before-hand, instead of them randomly disappearing for a month,

and 2. The village having someone who can meet the requirements. Instead of this endless bloodbath at the moment we should probably work on keeping the higher-ranked shinobi alive so that we can take over/etc if necessary. That, and we should take into consideration the possibility of closing villages; I think we should've simply taken the opportunity to close Rock instead of giving Nanako Kage, although she has been around for quite a while and deserves it, I guess...
