Aoikage looked to the woman, "Seems she doesn't quite believe us." the man smirked.

Looking to Ashuri, Po-ar frowned. "Are you sure you can fight?"
"Look, I was drunk yesterday... not today." the woman replied crossly before pulling a phone from her pocket and dialing a number.
She was calling Trunks.
He would get a hold of Vejita in the meantime.
"Kazu-kun, is there a way we can go as a front attack force?" Ashuri asked. "If we can distract them well enough, Trunks-chan and Vejita can, with the help of your portals, be our back-up."

Sighing, Watari resigned himself to her help. "Look... what if I promised to stay in the wheelchair?" the scientist asked. "I'll be able to move freely around the palace without having to drag you away from your work."

Thom flushed a little at Itachi's question and shook his head.

"Okay," Sam said shyly. "I hope you get your mom back okay."
Ad of course, he wished he could be like Bright Eyes and actually do something.

"Back outside my Dad's," Fir said grumpily. "At least the Jeep is. I have no idea where the kids are. Kazu will find us in about two seconds, most likely."

"You better get Fir,"Bright Eyes said seriously. "You're gonna need his help. He can distract. And I can make sure you don't get lost."

Itachi smiled, noticing his flushed appearance. "Well... then I suppose we can just sit here and watch stars go by..." she spoke, indicating the large window-like viewscreen before them.

Yuki shook her head. "No-go. What if there was an accident? Security is too lax around here for me to leave you alone." she ruffled his hair a bit. "But for the most part, you can move about the lab freely without my bothering you." she decided. "I don't want to take any unnecessary risks, do you? Especially when we can't fight..."
She smiled warmly, quickly kissing his cheek. "But I won't impede you too much." she promised, moving to prepare a few experiments they could work on. "I wouldn't want to make you feel completely helpless. I'm not going to rob you of your pride."
Morrigan scowled. "Of course not, I know what the job takes!" she snapped. "You don't have the slightest clue... You'd disrupt the balance entirely!"
But if they had the power, and they could lure Herne around...
Perhaps they could kill one another.
Then again, Konton had been allies with Herne before.
This was all highly curious---was he backstabbing Herne and the Nagaroi??
Whatever had happened to the hunter?
Kazuhiko nodded. "Once everyone's here, we plan." he promised. "I have to get Eara eventually and Thom and Maeve and---they're on their way to Tarnbsei..." he nodded. "They should almost be there soon too. I can help. Annnd we need to summon the Gods and Goddesses and bring heavenly hell to Konton." he beamed. "It shall be glorious."

Kazuhiko smiled. "Thank you... I think you can help me though." he nodded. "I need someone to keep me calm. Demons invoke bad energy... You have a lot of good energy, though. You just have to believe in yourself. You keep me calm, and I'll teach you how." he promised. "As a Hunter, I work with souls... I'll do everything I can to awake your potential for you." he beamed. "I just can't feed Konton with bad energy or fear... so if I keep hold of something familiar also..."
Eara smiled. "I'll drive." she decided, leading him through the village and into the forest.
They had a bit of a walk ahead of them.
"Looks like Kazu-kun's distracted." she murmured, shaking her head. Once they were out of hearing distance and well into the woods, she glanced up at him. "I really thought you were going to ******** it up for us there at one point or another Fir."
s**t. Sometimes she just couldn't help blurting her thoughts out.
"Why do you always have to push your luck with the people who help you??"

"They didn't help me, they helped Bright Eyes," Fir said angerily. "I'm the living dead to them, okay? Why the hell should I be nice?"

"Would you like to try and paint?" Sam asked. "It's very relaxing?"

"Oooooh, the Wonder Twins," Bright Eyes agreed. "They'll be good."
She tugged on Po-ar's sleeve.
"You are not listening to me," she declared. "I said I was going to help you make sure you didn't get lost and found your wife-lady right away."

Thom nodded. He shifted akwardly on his feet, looking out at the stars and occasionally sneaking a glance at Itachi.

"Honto ni?" Watari asked with a frown.
In his mind, he was robbed of it.
Though he knew the woman meant well, Watari felt wrong confined to the wheelchair.
Especially when he truly felt one hundred percent better.

Aoikage frowned, "Balance or not... the souls which reside in the Tree would be mine to command."
"Think of the undead armies at our disposal." Konton added. "The worlds we would be able to conquer with such power."

"Can the deities of Earth manifest on Tarnbsei?" Po-ar questioned. "I thought they would be tied to this world, not mine."

Po-ar looked to the girl, "Gomen nasai..." he spoke softly with a slight smile. "How will you do that?" the Ouji asked, intrigued by this girl's strange aura.

"And what do you think they did with your wound??" Eara snapped back, pausing at the Jeep. "Are you good enough to drive??"
She wasn't so sure, looking at it, that she could navigate back home.
"To think, I even offered you rewards and I STILL had to fight you to actually take care of yourself..." she shook her head. "Damnit Fir... You're lucky they helped you at all and there aren't a hundred elves trying to kill you right now."
Kazuhiko nodded, grinning. "How do you paint?" he plopped down beside Sam, touching the paints gingerly.
He was quite curious about this. He knew WHAT they were, but actually PAINTING was another thing entirely.
"This is cooool..." he whispered amazedly, "Wooow..."
Kazuhiko nodded. "Hai Otousan. Maeve summoned Badb against Okaasan when Ojiisan was evil and he drugged her, remember? And Auntie Eara fought too, she almost died. The reason they can connect there now is because of me." the boy beamed, delighted with his little secret. "I am the bridge between worlds, Otousan, in many, many different ways. Living and dead, Earthly and Other, Earth and Tarnbsei. Oh. One more thing. Make sure we get the flower for the demon that eats Mum.."
Morrigan shook her head. "You won't be able to get him." she promised darkly. "He'll outsmart both of you easily."
Yuki sighed, pausing and turning around.
She had sensed this easily from the tone in his voice.
"Look, Watari-san," she knelt before him so they could be nearly eye-level, "I don't like this anymore than you do, but I don't want to take any risks. Shi-chan would feel better, overstrain herself and get even worse. You're going to push yourself too hard because you don't consider yourself before others. If I don't take care of you, who will? Well.. Hapushi... but I have credentials." she sighed a bit, trying to smile. "You almost died, Watari-kun, you really scared me and your imoutochan back there. What if you overstrained yourself and we couldn't save you this time? What would I do without you? Your sister? Everyone else who trusts you above all else? You can look after everyone you want... but I'm going to look after you. You're just going to have to accept it."

"They're water colours," Sam explained. He took out a clean pieace of paper and painted a quick leaf to show the the boy the process.

Thom flushed again.
I've never been on a spaceship before he wrote.

"I'm fine," Fir said, sliding into the front seat and starting the car. "F them. They don't know s**t. Not about me. And not about the Rats. They don't have one right to freaking judge."

"If only I could." Po-ar spoke sadly. "The demon we face has sealed away my power. I can't call my pink elephants. Demo... how did you know about them?"
But the Ouji shook his head, "That flower will have frozen over by now. There's no way to get another one until the spring fully comes and the planets have time to rejuvenate... late spring, early summer."

Itachi smiled, "Sou desu ne... after a while, you get used to it... demo..." she smirked, pointing out a star system to him. "That's where I live... in that cluster of planets and stars there. That is the Ginga galaxy... wherein Tarnbsei is located."
(((Note: Ginga actually is Japanese for Galaxy.
How did I learn that?
There's a line in the ending theme for DBZ that say, "Pika pika ginga wa popukorun shauwa" which is basically, "The shining galaxy is a popcorn shower".)))

Literally...
He tried to say something, to argue with Yuki or to make a point.
But the words died before they even reached his lips.
"Gomen nasai, Yuki-san..." the scientist whispered. "I hadn't meant to put this hardship on you..."

"And that may be." Eara agreed, hopping in the passenger seat. "Calm down, Fir... We can go home now. Isn't that nice?"
Ah, s**t, the bribe.
"Well, wait, maybe we should help Kazu-kun first..." she flushed brightly, looking out the window.
Kazuhiko tilted his head, and began to try it with a different brush on his own sheet of paper.
He wasn't that good, but he didn't know what to paint, so he just painted colors.
The real Kazuhiko looked up at Po-ar and smiled. "She's psychic like Okaasan and I sometimes except she's never wrong." he answered. "And Ojiisan brought the seeds back. I know for a fact because he almost died doing so. I can make flowers grow Otousan." he grinned. "And we have soil that will never lose it's nutrients..."
Yuki looked at him as if he had said trees could walk or some other nonsense. "Hardship??? It's not hard at all." she smiled warmly. "I don't mind looking after you, it's no burden. You helped give me the job of my dreams and a home and a chance to study under you! You almost died right in front of me, protected me! It's the LEAST I can do." she shook her head. She grabbed his hand for a moment, clasping it between both of hers. "Don't worry about it Watari-san." she smiled. "Now, before we begin, are you sure you're not hungry or thirsty?"

"Oh. Yes. That explains it," Bright Eyes said happily. "Don't worry. The seal isn't permanent. Kazu can grow the flowers. Don't worry. And if he can't I have a friend that can."

"Watercolors are really not about the final product," Sam said, "Just the process of getting there. That's why I like it so much."

Po-ar smiled at this, "And if we can just manage to get the flower into Konton's chest cavity again... he'll turn to stone like the last time."
"Pretty ingenious plan there." Ashuri said sarcastically. "He'll be expecting this."
But the Ouji nodded, "Even if he expects it... he can't stop it forever."

The scientist blushed again, looking away. "Iie... I'm not hungry or thirsty, just... just eager to get back to work." he spoke uneasily.
Yuki's close presence was making him uncomfortable.
But Watari didn't know if that was a good or a bad thing...
