Shatter the thoughts that reign supreme.
With a reigning light, a powerful gleam.
Shatter the freedom that comes with the sky...
((My apologies, Qui. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable.
But next time you plan to invade my organization's territory Lolly, I think it would be good to simply ASK where the base is located. I would've gladly informed you that, yes, it is underground, and we could've continued on unabashedly instead of you attempting to be sneaky while I was offline and thus PISSING me off.
But I'm okay now.))
Unfortunately, as Laura would soon realize, unless Lolly decided to edit her posts, (for this rper did not take the time to reread the previous posts if such was the case) the 'assassin' was in completely the wrong place.
Seeing as how the Hellz Fire organization was beneath the ground, it would be questionable as to how the base could be
above the ground.
Thus, obviously, her and Lawliet's data concerning the organization were unquestionably, entirely
wrong. Her and Lawliet's time were wasted, and they would have to start all over again.
Too bad for them.

Kanu was lounging, sharpening her knives, when Hazen snarled from where he rested at her feet.
The scrapping of metal against metal paused.
"What is it, my lovely?"
Hazen growled once more, staring straight ahead at the wall.
Pursing her lips slightly, she leaned forward and pressed a button on her phone, linking her with the Technology room, where Morto no doubt was at this time of day.
"Morto."
"Yes, Kanu?""I trust Bubba healed up successfully."
"Without a hitch. His prosthetic foot was attached without any trouble. Looks brand new.""Good. Now tell me something. My dear Hazen is growling something fierce. Why?"
"Well, when he was created he was formatted with a sort of sixth sense - he usually makes such a noise when there is something or someone coming in hopes of getting in - at least from what I was able to gather."Kanu blinked.
"Really now..." She called Bubba again. "Bubba, my darling..." she cooed as the eye automatically answered it. "It seems there is an impending threat against my baby organization. You know how I hate that. Do some rounds, if you will. And whoever it is..." Her eyes sharpened. "Let that little toy eye of yours get a good look at their face, and then kill them. I despise surprises. I will send you more information if and when we get it."
Then she hung up.
----
The elevator sent them downwards.
When the doors opened again, it wasn't what anyone would've expected to be in the basement of a warehouse.
It looked more like a lounge - there were shag carpets here and there, a large TV near the right corner with several DVDs to the side, along with an XBox 360 and games. A futon was against that same wall closer to the elevator, with a snug, comfortable looking couch at the opposite wall, closer to the TV, with a coffee table separating them. Small Chinese paper lamps attached to electric wires hung from the ceiling in rows, sending everything into a calm, serene light.
Sami chuckled nervously.
"Well, this is the place," she stated, taking a few steps in and looking around. "I haven't been in here a while - a year, I think. Everything looks really dusty..." She looked around before heading over to the TV. "I hope the XBox still works..."
You know death has come when time is an eye.
