Deity can't recall Clash's decision on the use of Shunkido... o o; ...it can be used as teleportation, but in battle, Deity tends t'use it as freestyle movement rather than actual teleportation. The effect is still th'same either way, tho'...he's fast enough to dodge attacks if he sees them coming, but Shunkido is mainly used for major emergencies or when someone is trying to get away with auto-hitting.[/rambling]

Dr.Nightz Vahn Kyonuske I just let my posts speak for themselves. "We aren't that good, but our quality is amped up by an exggerated reputation. " Whenever we're used, with nearly no exception the battle is won outside of the fight, in OOC! " "I reflect my author's ego in such a flaming way, that I am indistiguishable from any of dozens of cliche'd anime chcaracters that, when on their own are quite cool, but when replicated, are simply retarded!" "I'm actually this guy!" Y'know, it generally seems like my job to reign in Nightz on stuff like this. But in this case, I happen to agree with him.

Vahn Kyonuske I don't go through the routine of regular 'smack talk'. It's useless with this crowd, 'cause the internet is SERIOUS BUSINESS. I just let my posts speak for themselves. "Internet srs klololol interneht not srs u nubs it da INTERNET LOL LOL LAHLLL"
Vahn, I've respect for you thus far. Don't kill it for me. domokun
Clash, I've a large recommendation for next year's tournament. Have some "hosts". AKA, judges, to an extent.. that'll occasionally have their character comment on already performed actions. Not only will it incourage spectator play, but it'll also make it so matches are, to at least some small extent, monitored - so it doesn't regress into the crap we're occasionally suffering through here in OOC.
Because, sadly, just about every match I've seen thus far, has either:
A. Not started, one member didn't participate.
B. Had SOME kind of foul play that just has to be argued over for days and days in this 'ere thread,
C. Had a character disqualified for some reason.
I've been hard pressed to see a match lacking one of the above traits. ;.;
Just me, though.

Oi...Omi, I have a question and no one in the Anima RO forums wants to answer...
when I'm making a build (Such as my bard), should I max out one stat first, or should I balance out point distribution? I'm sure the question's a definite one, but since I'm coming to this from D2 I'm a bit uncertain...

I'm sure the question's a definite one, but since I'm coming to this from D2 I'm a bit uncertain... Nehhhh.. once again, I am definetely not a Bard guy. XD If I had a say though, I'd go with a DEX/AGI build.
STR: 1 AGI: 90 VIT: 20 INT: 25 DEX: 99 LUK: 1
That way, your ASPD & Flee's high - so the chance of you being stunned during a cast is low, and your attack speed, meanwhile, will be considerably fast. But, you still have some VIT & INT, merely for half-decent HP/MP. Get gear that increases AGI, Flee, and most importantly, DEX/Hit.
As for spending points: distribution. But, remember: whether you mess with AGI or VIT, make sure they go up first. Being able to attack well's kewl and all, but not if you're taking more damage or getting hit more often as a trade-off.

I already know the stats I want, I just wasn't sure of how I should go about placing them...like I said, I came from D2 where you could easily get by placing all the necessary points in one stat, then the next, etc.
Thanks for the answer...I realize it seems a dumb question, but it was an important one *nodnod*
-edit- Just read Shilon's post...I'm getting mixed signals @_@

XD It depends on how you build your character.
Take my advice though: Whether you're an AGI Bard, or a VIT Bard [far as your defensive stat goes], raise that just a bit less than your main attack stats. [DEX, INT, LUK, or STR, depending on your character. In your case, it'll be a mixture of DEX and something else. Now, if you're going for a hybrid build, pump DEX - and spread the other points between VIT and AGI.]

Oh, Omi, I'm pretty sure Bards use INT for MP/Better buffs rather than a Defensive stat. But, Nyeh'. And, with Bards, you don't really have to worry about the other stats much, Since you're an Archer first. Ya' get y'er Dex pretty high during Archerness, So once you hit Bard, Your Dex's about 50-60, [If you waited for Jlvl 50], So it's better to just max it first so your DS and/or MS can do decent damage for Leveling purposes. So by about level 65-ish you've got full DEX and can focus solely on raising stats for Buffing/Defense/Whatever.
But, just in case, you may wanna consult some FAQs. xD

And true, Shilon's correct - though, it depends on what weapon you prefer to utilize.

Well, if I go to max out dex first, I'll have 99 dex and nothing else.
