Guess so.
Say, how long exactly have the Otobe been in power? It's sorta vague in the village history. Like, was the ruling body before this around ten years before the current time or around? Or, would Shima have grown up under Otobe rule, having lived in Oto his whole life?
I was wondering because I was planning on trying to catch up to the others by trying my hand at a big training extravapalooza like that other guy did, like where your just sort've writing a detailed back story instead of having to painstakingly describe the training. I write fan fiction a lot, so doing it that way would actually feel more up my alley anyway.

Two years I say at the most. Then it's Cheer's Otokage and before that Otokage Uchiha Saiya.

However, "most" of the villages inhabitants should be fairly okay with their new overlords :< Yeah, I read the training, it says you might take an Exp cut, but I think it'll probably help me in writing more, just to sort've get my guy up to par with others in the class. And besides, it's not really totally irrelevant.

I don't really know why but I was sort've getting the impression that this had been a longer occupation seeing as everyone was all supposedly accepting of them. I figured it was more a deal of the kids in the academy now wouldn't know any other village but the one ruled by them, but this is totally different. Thanks for the info Proto.

So most of the village has been drawn into their little "we are here to protect our more unfortunately weaker subjects" rhetoric. But there are a few who still havent accepted the Otobe overseers and are in open rebellion from outside and inside the village 3nodding
