I can't keep up with all the new items. It makes my head spin every time I sign in and there are fifty new items floating about.

I'm scraping the bottom of my barrel to keep up with the EIs and other stuff.
I was inactive from gaia for a while, and coming back to all the different items was definitely overwhelming.

I've given up trying to catch up to stuff, I was pretty active like a month ago, then I just got too tired doing it... I wants me some of the lexbox stuffs D:, but I don't want it enough to do something about it. XD

Yeah, I haven't kept up on items either. Too many to worry about and the majority are for the cash shop so most people can't afford them anyway.

The cash shop has become a bit of a pet peeve of mine, to be honest. I understand that Gaia has to make money, but essentially making it so that you can buy gold with money, which I've never liked.
That and the fact that they still slam us with ads every chance they get. Justin.tv did a similar thing. They increased the ads, made them more obtrusive, made more of them, and made it harder to avoid them, to the point where the ads actually mess with their website layout, and make it look very amateur. I can't say I'm a fan of such business models. I guess I'm kind of annoyed by all of these small companies which run websites/web services. Since they have investors/stockholders they have to turn a profit, and don't exist just to make money for the creator of the site. If a site can turn a profit of like fifty sixty grand a year, that's plenty of money to support the site creator. With investors, the company must now turn a much larger profit... it can't all be based off of one ad per page. Though I do suppose that in order to create larger websites, with more services, it is necessary to have the capital around to buy more supplies, to pay developers, etc. Whatever happened to two guys running a website out of their parents' basements? Oh yeah, Wall Street.
