I know Crenu, just saying it since I suck so badly at Wii tennis. And almost every guy I know is a football kinda guy. xD

It's mainly cause of my build. I'm not very fast or nimble, all I really am is a wall. So I put that to good use and bowl people over. I don't actually bowl them over, I'm not a beast or anything speacial like that, but I do hit em hard enough to give the quarterback enough time to make the play.

Crenu, I've been paying close attention to the gym battle between Shiro and Whitney. The way things have played out, I highly doubt that Ariados would have the energy to pull off Night Shade again.
You constantly point out the fact that Ariados is tired. Her legs are wobbling and "she was lucky she hadn't broken herself in half" by performing that stunt with Miltank.
In my personal opinion, you lost three posts ago. : |

Your person option has no heart. HEART DAMN IT! HEART! Tired only begins to tap into the inner power in everything. One must exhaust themselves to the brink of self destruction before their full potential can be unleashed. Oh yeah and, HEART!
Besides, Night Shade is more of a mental strain, not so much a physical one.

Don't talk to me about 'the inner potential'. Last I checked, everyone else here has counted their losses and took them with stride, not struggled to move for a victory they know isn't going to happen. If you're so big on things like a physical/mental oneness, think about this. What is a physical being without mentality? If the mental strain is too much, the physical body gives out. If the physical half is tired, the mental half can't perform as well. Example: a school test. Scientific evidence shows that a person who is well rested is more mentally prepared for a test than a person who is dead tired at the time of the exam. Another example: loss. Many times, when someone hears the loss of a loved one, the overall mental shock can cause them to faint - their body gives out.
If you're going to talk like that, back up your claims with evidence, not baseless conjecture.
You're not a badboy. You're not a hardass. You're not a sage. You're an RPer. An RPer who, currently, seems to be Godmodding.

First of all, don't talk to me like I'm an fool. Second of all, don't talk to me as if I'm taking this as seriously as you are, because it's clear that I'm not and that you care way to much about what someone hiding behind a monitor says to another guy hiding behind a monitor, and no don't get your undies in a bunch because I'm not implying that you are hiding from anything nor that you have reason to hide. Lighten up, chill, relax, chillax, do whatever you want man. Just don't come bringing your negative vibes over in my direction, I'm far to peaceful for that garbage. And don't come up to me with your theories and how physics work into it all, because it's also very clear from that post I made a few moments ago about heart and all that jazz that it was a joke post with no meaning, hence the capital hearts throughout the whole thing and at the end. I do what I do, I never had it in my mind that I was gonna win that match nor did I plan on taking it any further, so don't get mighty about what I am and what I'm not, and don't think for a second I ended tat match because you jumped in and said anything Max. I like taking things to the limit of death, that's just what I do. You're a cool guy max, so don't be uncool and try to pick a fight with me, because I would much rather take a nap then sit here and argue over data and theories. Todo es bueno?

Did I say you were a fool? No.
It's an RP. An RP that I have been part of for the whole two years it's been around. I enjoy reading the posts that people make and when things like that happen, I get a little irritated. All the oldbies do. This is an RP that we've been with for so long, it's a part of us. We love who we play as and we've put loads of time into this RP. We want to see it played through in a fair manner by everyone involved.
Did I ever think you ended the match because I said something? No.
And it seems that you contradict yourself. "Peaceful" people don't take "things to the limit of death".
My saying what you are and what you're not? It's my personal opinion. I can think whatever I please about you and say what I want, too. It's the Internet.
Don't try to get on my good side by calling me 'a cool guy'. It won't work.
Go take your nap.

I have to say that I agree with Max, you were totally out of line in that gym battle. First off you do not call gym leaders, 'Girl', you treat a person in a high station with the respect that they desearve. I dont care if you are trying to look 'cool'.
Secondly you were cheating in that match. Then when people call you out on it you take it as a joke and try to brush it off. It isn't funny and I know that Max, as he has stated, Willow (probably) and I lose what little respect for you that we have. Look if you did something wrong just appologize for it and make sure you dont do it again. We understand and are pretty lax as long as you know what you did was wrong. However when you just toss out everything we say and just blow it off that is rude and simply not something anyone should do.
What I am trying to say is this, Get over yourself.
Not that anything I really say here counts anymore.

There you go getting all mad again. I'm not trying to get on your good side. As you said, it's the internet and I give a rats @ss about what side I'm on for which person internet or real life. I live calmly, don't get riled up over anything, and do what I like to do. And if pushing things to the brink of death and hurting others brings me peace, then I'm at peace and therefor am a peaceful man. Just because I don't fit your definition of peace doesn't mean I'm not peaceful. As for that nap you suggested, I think I'll go take that nap cause I'm actually pretty tired. Good night Max, I suggest you take a nap as well, I promise you'll feel loads better when you wake up.

Did Ariados seriously throw Miltank? Because damn, I don't know if anyone else is savvy in the knowledge of Pokemon height and weight statistics, but a Miltank is roughly 166lbs, which is more than twice what Ariados weighs... I doubt she could have thrown Miltank, not unless she had many a level advantage. whee
Crenu, you were seriously treading in the realm of godmodding, something which a lot of us have learned the limit of a long time ago. Had I been here last night, I would have warned you sooner. Now, it is my unfortunate duty to deduct some experience gain (for Ariados, not Larvitar; he was fine) for that last battle (and of course, I'm certain everybody is aware that bonus experience for gym battles is only awarded when the challenger is victorious).
And now, after attending a wedding and reception last night, this afternoon I have to go to a bridal shower (busy weekend, Geebus...) but I should be back later this afternoon, if not in the evening. I forgot what else I was going to say because my brain has turned to mush. confused

I thought the fight was kinda cool... But I didn't think Crenu would win it. Some of it was extravagant but it was really one the first times he's done a battle. I applaud the creativity in it though.

Time for my input on the battle. I typically keep my opinions to myself, but I think I'll overlook that. You know, just this once. After all, many boundaries of fairness were overlooked last night, so if I overlook my ordinary quiet nature then that'll be okay, too. But, I digress.
Mag raises a point, to a slight extent. I believe that, yes, there were certain elements of creativity, but there were times in that battle-- at least... three that I can think of right now-- that did push godmodding. I realize this was one of Crenu's first real battles, and I liked when Ariados had protected Larvitar earlier on in the battle-- that was reasonable, how she covered his body using her own.
Things seemed to deteriorate from there. When a 74-pound bug that is at a lower level than a Gym Leader's Pokemon is able to toss around a Miltank which had been previously identified as weighing more than average, as indicated in the backstory when I explained Whitney's teaching Attract to Miltank, then that is when I start to raise my eyebrows. Was the overall concept creative? Yes it was, but it lost its plausability and validity when that had happened.
Everyone here knows that I am far too generous when it comes to battling-- hell, I've practically thrown fights before so that I don't establish myself as one of those "OMG I R UBER ND I KEN KEEL N E OEN" types of RPers (yes. They exist here.), but I knew from the moment that things started to get out of control that I was not going to throw that battle, like I'd done with 99% of the others that I'd participated in, be it with Nina or Whitney.
Also, in Anya's reply here, I'm sure that she'd held back some of the things that she would have liked to have said. I, however, take no fear in saying what I need to say in order get my point across. While I may not be the guild leader, or even one of TTR's mods, portions of last night's battle could be considered cheating by almost anyone who was paying close enough attention.
A Gym Leader is a trainer, and even if their Pokemon are the same level as a challenger's, you will find that they are still stronger, be it with the moves that they know or their stats in general. This is true in any of the video games, if you think I'm making it up, so go take a look. Therefore, it's not okay for a trainer who's participated in a handful of battles to be able to fling around a Leader's Pokemon as if they were nothing at all. The only reason I had even played along with that was to see if Crenu would realize that it was a little over-the-top and possibly alter how he was battling. This included when I had made Miltank faint-- I noticed in the reply following mine, Crenu stated that, quote, "He was actually quite surprised, he hadn't expected Castform to use protect, or even that Miltank would be leaving the fight after that maneuver." End quote.
The latter half of that sentence should be indicative to anyone of how completely ridiculous it was for the action to have happened in the first place. Most people would have realized, "Hey, maybe I'm pushing things a little bit. Maybe I should ease up." It's okay though, since I'm usually considered a pushover anyway, so if you cheat to beat me in a battle, then I won't raise my voice and say anything, right? Wrong. Everyone should take note that it's not okay to cheat just so you can try to win. For those of you that are a little slow, I'll repeat this and bold it so you can read it better.
It's not okay to cheat just so you can try to win.
I mean, seriously, look at what happens. You still end up losing, and one of the people who loses the most frequently in the RP burns you in front of all the active members. <3
So, I think I'm all done now. Thanks for everyone who stayed with me.

*Sigh*
I suppose this is that part where I apologize for everything and try to redeem myself. However even if I did, it most likely wouldn't seem sincere and so I wont. However, I will admit that I got carried away and bended, nay, broke the rules a few times. Though I still believe that throwing Miltank was not all that out of this world because I was going on the principals of Miltank's stomp attack, putting nearly all her weight no the stomping hoof, giving some leverage to play with and spider's being able to lift 10x (or something like that) their own body weight, but that doesn't matter now anyway. I did not cheat in order to win, because I didn't actually plan on winning that battle from the get go. I just got into the battle and did what I did. I appreciate the advocacy on my part about this being "one of my first real battles" but you and I know that that isn't really an excuse nor do I plan on using it as one. I try to play by the rules, but it's not always clear to me where the line is drawn and what I can and can't do that isn't crossing it. I'm fine with Aire reducing some points from Ariados, makes sence after all. I'm fine with people losing respect for me since I don't really have any of it anywhere else anyway. I'm fine with people being reluctant to battle with me because they think I'll try and cheat again and I'm fine with higher leveled people wanting to battle me just so they can destroy me in one post and teach me a lesson about my place or whatever. I'm fine with whatever anyone has to say to me, wants to say to me, and does say to me. I'm fine with the fact that people might read this and think "Pfft, bull. Stop trying to get on our good sides again and get us to feel sympathy for you noob," or not. So come one, let me hear what you want me to hear and tell me something I haven't heard before. I'll try and turn the other cheek, because I'm about 89% sure I'm not done catching the flack for this one. Let's all hear it for Crenu, the RPs most valuable jerk biggrin

Ants are the ones that lift ten times their body weight.
There is one breed of spider which can produce an adhesive force of 170 times its body weight when sticking to the ceiling.
And maybe if you hadn't insulted the most important person to this guild-- and one of my friends, no less-- and called her a coward, I wouldn't care enough to reprimand you.
