"Talk about me!" Mia replied back sticking close to Triton with a smile as she giggled.
A giggle that spoke volumes of chaos and destruction as she held Triton's hand and held Alice close. The cat seemed to be grinning more maciliously than before.
"I'll be good."

"Just don't smile," Donovan told Mia, "It'll be strange if you smiled in a place like this, and for crying out loud don't stare at them like you're going to kill them in their sleep. It creeps people out."
Not that it was a bad thing, but Mia was the person they were going to underestimate more than Gion, which would give Mia more leeway.

Gion chuckled silently at that. Yes, it would be quite interesting to have Mia being the center of their attention, and yes it would be strange indeed if she smiled while they were talking about her. But he was glad of that, for several reasons. First, it would probably keep their attention off of him, and keep them from suspecting any danger on his part; it would also keep them from discovering who he really was, in all likelihood; and there was a chance that it might keep them from wondering where Nadya was.
He sobered as they drew near to the chamber that was their destination. It wouldn't do to look cheerful while delivering a possible slave child, especially one so odd as Mia.

Donovan stopped in front of the door that led to the meeting room they were in before. He held a hand out, the palm hovering inches above the door.
"You first Triton," Donovan looked to the neko, "Don't forget to cover your head."
Not that there was enough light to see, but for all he knew these guys were good at seeing in the dark.

Triton nodded as he pulled the hood over his head and took Mia by the shoulder. Gently, since he really couldn't bring himself to be rough with her, even though he doubted Mia would care overly that much. It was part of the facade which she liked to play from time to time.
Taking a breath he opened the door first, it would allow Gion and Donovan to enter last.

Mia buried her face into Alice, letting only her eyes peek over the cat's head as Triton opened the door. She had to remember, she was suppose to be harmless. So she clutched Alice close, as if to say I'm scared.
Though she tried not to smile from behind Alice's body.

Gion opened the door to the chamber and stepped in and to the side so that the wouldn't be in the front of everyone else. He tried to keep himself calm, but in light of what they were about to do he was having a bit of difficulty. His heart was pounding in his chest, and he was certain that the dwarfs, had they elven hearing, would have been able to hear it - thankfully, they didn't, and they didn't.

THe room was very much as it had been earlier in the day when they had been there, save that only about half of the torches were lit, leaving the room dimmer, and there were only a few dwarfs in there. The leader was asleep on a stone bed at the far back of the room, and six dwarfen guards made a protective semicircle in front of him.
"You're back," one of them grunted, his tone a little surprised. "So soon."

"I have an associate who'd like to do a bit of business, he heard there was some business to be done up here, but wasn't so sure if you'd be interested in what he had," Donovan explained, "He also has some interesting information, it's always good doing business with him."
Donovan let Triton go in first before closing the door behind them. He held back placing his hand lightly on the door. He focused his own energies into sealing the door first, similar to that what he used on Kara's room that fateful night.

That was his cue, and Triton felt more than a bit nervous at this venture. How was one suppose to pretend to sell of one's sister? He stepped foward, not daring to look back lest he give away Donovan and Gion by doing so.
He kept a grip on Mia's shoulder as he looked at the guards.
"I was told," he stated as calmly as he could, "That you might be interested in what I transport," his hand travelled to the small of her back as he lightly pushed her forward.

Mia took a few steps forward as she looked up at them with eyes as wide as she could make them trying to look a bit sad. An emotion she was more likely to emulate than scared, it was Mia, she was never scared.
She was unusual, probably had been from a well off family her skin was so pale, but her hair was unusually black for a human. She was human though, she brushed some strands behind one ear.

Gion kept perfectly still to keep all attention off of himself. The less the guards noticed him, the better. He kept an eye on Donovan, watching for some signal to let him know that the barrier was ready.

The dwarfish translator nodded thoughtfully. Yes ... the child was a bit old, perhaps, but she didn't seem too wild or rambunctious ... she was quiet, that was good ...
Yes. This was something worth waking their leader for.
"Wait here a moment," he told the man, smiling to himself. He barked a command to the others who were standing there, then disappeared behind a curtain to where their leader was sleeping. Several long moments passed before they appeared together, the leader looking very much as though he still wanted to be asleep. He was dressed, but only barely, completely arms- and armourless.
He took in the sight of the child with narrow eyes and spoke to the translator, who in turn spoke to the man who was holding the child. "Where did you find her?"

Triton had no idea what the human settlements were like or even where everything where was on the map. Did normal humans know where everything were? He didn't know.
"Uncle gave her to me to get rid of," he answered back hoping he didn't stall too much, "In the city."
Just don't ask him which city, because he sure as hell didn't know, but he hoped it would explain why Mia looked as nice as she did. Granted he didn't know what the humans here were like.

Donovan didn't think it was that bad, though he couldn't speak for the humans, there was always a chance that the child could have bene orphaned and therefore some relative who didn't care much would sell her off. She was female after all.
The first seal settled along all openings keeping things in, or out as the case maybe. He watched them out of hooded eyes as he set the second seal, which would seal the room like a bubble, which would keep sound from reaching ears to be heard.
