"No... bigger needle..." he said softly, pushing it away. "It needs to go... right into my heart..." he was laughing quietly, indicating that maybe his judgement wasn't at its best.

"I don't matter!" he cried. "Only Eliza matters! What will they do, when they come and they take me away? What will happen to her?" He was at his wit's end. "Oh, Eliza! Eliza, I'm so sorry..." he reached down towards the exposed bone of his left leg. "I have to finish this..."

She looked out the small window. The ambulance would be here soon. They wouldn't know what to do for him, not when he was like this.

((I don't think so... not for anything major, anyway.... but he actually does amputate both of his legs in the manga for Eliza. ))
He seized the saw, going at the ligaments as quickly and as completely as he could without hurting the actual bone. That seemed to be the last action he was capable of; he slumped over, drenched in a frigid sweat, his head touching Netsubo's shoulder.

Netsubo couldn't take it. She knew that Fang had told her not to, but Faust was in too much pain. She took out a clear crystal and cut her hand, allowing the blood to drip onto it. The crystal seemed to turn the color of her blood and shine with power. She laid the crystal on Faust's chest and started to chant in a sing song voice. The crystal glowed and it seemed to surround Faust's body. The healing had started.
((well, that I knew, but I just wanted to see if she could help ))

At first, Faust resisted, aftraid that she'd undo the work that he'd done, but he slowly relaxed, falling into a anesthetic-like sleep.

She felt him fall asleep, but knew that he'd survive.She continued healing for as long as her energy let her. She was panting by the time she was finished.
