Oz widely opened the door and stood there. He didn’t need to go outside to see what was happening. Kennedy seemed to be entranced or something. She would scream in agonizing pain, but would not move. His eyes sweated fountains as he saw the cause of her pain. A werewolf, in front of her stood a werewolf. But this werewolf was different. His stature alone created a trembling fear. His paws were probably the width of two Willows put together. He was two, maybe three times the height of a normal werewolf. His claws looked like daggers used in jungles; his teeth, a weapon. One tooth alone would suffice a person in the battlefield.
He stood there in disbelief that such a creature could exist. He gasped just at mere sight of it. Oz stepped back, but glanced at Kennedy again. Why was the werewolf not attacking her? He seemed to have control…wait! He can control his primal rage? Not possible!
“Kennedy!!!”
But the girl continued screaming as if death were swirling around with her soul.

btvsgirl For the last week, since returning to Cleveland, Drusilla had been coming to grips with her soul. She was already mad as a hatter. This was terrible. That idiot witch had fouled things up beyond compare, and she had no Angelus or Spike to help her through.. and grandmother was ashes.
Angelus was all gone this time... along with poor Miss Edith, left in that rat trap Angel had been living in, out in California, which was a bloody sunny and horrid place. She was happier here in Cleveland, where the sun didn't shine down on her preciously dark mausoleum all day and half into the evening.
Over this past week, since leaving Angel's ugly old car and returning to her home in the cemetery, Drusilla had been unable to eat, or clean herself. Her pretty dress was all tattered and dirty, and her general mood was nasty.
"Oooohhh, Miss Edith, where are you? Mummy's hungry, and all the tasty people burn to touch.. oh they burn.... and they TALK, Miss Edith, the mean people talk and yell at me, oh poor me... God won't take me now, and I practiced so hard for him...And Spike won't come to save me.. Daddy's all gone, forever gone...Grandmother- ooooooooooohhhhh.... He's going to be turning, turning in his grave so so so soon....." She wept bitterly, tugging at her hair, and thinking incoherent thoughts.
Dru had left the safety of the mausoleum... the moon told her that there was a tasty snack ready for her, and all she had to do was slap aside a pesky werewolf or two. Her would-be snack was human, but Drusilla could work around her soul. The moon said that the human was not really there, and she'd be helping a human. "Imagine that, Daddy.... helping a human..." She giggled and waltzed around a tombstone with her imaginary friend Angelus. He was right there with her... "Come along, precious father, we're off to drink." She danced her way the mile or two to end up standing under a tree in the front of the mansion. "Well, Daddy, that's a rather large one... Won't you help your darling girl? I don't think I can do it alone...." Dru implored "Angelus", looking up.. and spotting Xander. She gasped. "You're up a tree!" This sent her into hysterics and she fell to the ground laughing, clutching her stomach. "He's up a tree! Oh! My tummy!"

The beast’s growls were like earthquake coming to devour whatever stood in its way. Each growl, each jaw-opening movement the canine did only invoked another scream from Kennedy. She could feel the pull again, luring the front half of her body toward him if she were free to move. A spell, he had to have cast some sort of spell.
“Willow!” Her cry was like throwing salt onto an open wound. Lots of salt. “Stop it! Make it stop!”
The beast clamped a fist after his final growl shook Oz away from the door.
“Be silent, human! Pathetic sack of meat. Listen to what I have to say!”
Kennedy’s cries stopped. Her body still had reminiscence of being shook up from everything going on.
“..Y-you….talk..?” Stutters were all that could form coherency from Kennedy’s lips. The ferocious creature stepped close to her, close enough to bite.
“Only to you, now shut up and listen to my request!”

Willow had stood there, silent, preparing herself. She'd only just gotten over the last large spell, and had yet to cleanse herself with the rituals she used. This might not be ... Well, oh well. Has to be done. She took in the magicks. Quietly and quickly, levitating and floating outside, unaware of her surroundings. She was dark, and no longer in control. Her only coherent thought was Kennedy would not be harmed. "Enough, foul beast. You'll direct your desires unto me.
From whence it came and to where twas delivered You'll give unto me, and leave be the beleaguered Thy will be done unto this being who now speaketh And be gone forthwith from that who is weakest." She stood in front of the beast, not noticing when the mark left Kennedy's hand and imprinted itself upon Willow.

Kennedy collapsed to the ground. Her body steamed off strange energy. Oz ran toward her and tried to awaken her, but she would lie motionless.
“Oh no.” She felt warm, and only getting warmer. He quickly lifted her into his arms and hurriedly went into the house with her, not once looking back.
The werewolf stood talk. He almost looked as tall as a house. Both hands now clapped in fists as his new host stood before him. Her weakness fluctuated very little, unlike the other girl. Hopefully, she will not falter, being human and all.
“You insist in replacing the chosen vessel with your own life energy? How amusing you humans are.” His voice was deep, raspy and stern. Oz only heard beastly noises exit from him. However, the beast knew that his new host understood him well. He howled into the moonlight.
“Very well, girl. Listen closely to the message bestowed upon me from my tribal leader. Do not defy me for you know not what my kind can do.” He went close to the dark witch.
“Mother Earth is dying, and we need your help to save her.” He tilted his head a bit as he sniffed the girl. She definitely seemed stronger than the original. “Evil spirits lurk about, diminishing her life stream. She cannot speak to us anymore, and will soon die. My kind have been her guardian for far too long to let insignificant spirits taint her! They only want the soul of Pandemonium, and their being here in search of it is harming Mother Earth.”

Willow glared. She was for some reason, unable to articulate, so she communicated telepathically. I haven't felt anything wrong with Gaia. She is fine. Where do you get your information? Be done with this, I haven't the time.

Lorne followed Buffy onto the jet, not paying attention to Riley. He wasn't sure what to say to either of them. All he knew is what he saw, and though him and Atticus didn't get off on the right foot...and still weren't on the right one...he didn't want one of the Good Guys going through such a Hell.

Riley watched his ex get on the plane, followed by the demon. One was likely to make his wife excited, and the other... Well.... she'd put up a nice front when she'd first met Buffy, but since then, he'd come to see a side of Sam that clearly hated the Slayer. He wasn't looking forward to this, but it was highly unlikely that he was going to change Buffy's mind. He got on and pressed the intercom telling the captain they were ready for takeoff. Ignoring his unwanted guests, Riley took a seat and closed his eyes.

When Buffy handed him the plane tickets and headed off with Lorne, Angel thought about following. But then he stopped, wondering what good it would do? He was still human...Riley DID have weapons that could easily kill Angel should he decide to fight...
Angel just put the plane tickets on the bar and headed out of the basement. He was in a brooding mood now. He was completely useless...and he might even be losing his girlfriend again. She had so easily gone to Riley's side!
Angel adjusted his trenchcoat and walked out of the back door of the mansion. He needed some time to think things over. Lots of things.
And that's when he saw Druisilla near the mansion...rolling around on the ground and laughing? What the hell was she up to?
Angel walked up to her slowly, wondering what was going on.

Phoenix couldn't relax, so she headed outside.. where there was some gigantic hairy thing in front of a floaty frozen Willow. "What the ******** ran back into the livingroom, opened up the chest in the corner and grabbed a few chinese stars and a serrated blade, then ran back out side and threw the stars at the beast. 3 hit their mark and the other went wide... Whoops, she thought. "Sorry, Angel! Accident!"

When the plane landed, Riley exited without waiting on Buffy and the green demon. He did not want Sam to see him coming in with Buffy without trying to explain it to her first. He went through a maze of corridors and ended up at a doorway with the insignia of the Black Thorn emblazoned on it. He punched in his codes, and the door swung open.

Oz placed Kennedy onto the couch, being the nearest resting place for her. He started to freak out a bit more when her body, which was rising in temperature only minutes ago, was becoming cold.
“Somebody help me! I need blankets!”
Kennedy’s body began to shiver. The drastic change in body temperature should easily kill her. Oz started to search through closets for something, anything that could be of use. He found a jacket, not the best, but it will do.

The beast chuckled at her response. Simple human. Of course a human would say such thing.
“Humans have lost there spiritual connection with Mother Earth. They no longer talk to her as they once did. Gauru specialize in spirituality. Our soul purpose is to protect her. Being so, our spiritual connection comes directly from her. We feel her weeps and sorrows.”
The beast approached the new human communicator. He touched the marking on her hand. The symbol. A strong current flowed through her body. The beast let her feel all of Mother Earth’s plea for help. He gave the human communicator all of Mother Earth’s pain and withering that depleted her life stream. It was once such a beautiful and peaceful stream of the universe, but now lies faint and slowly growing in taint. He showed all of Mother Earth’s tears and cries. The beast stood silent.
“Now imagine feeling her pain everyday, growing stronger and stronger. That is why I was forced to come here, human.” His words were no longer angry, no longer hostile.
He finally noticed three ninja stars embedded into his right arm. The beast glared at the attacker. Another girl. He simply shook his arm once, and they fell to the ground.

Buffy was right behind Riley, smiling and wondering if he really thought he was going to lose her. She hoped Lorne was as quick, because she didn't think this would be a welcoming place. When the door in front of Riley opened, she followed him into a large room filled with all sorts of scientific evil crap. She made a face. "Is there where you torture poor guys who have just lost their family to demons? Or was it vampires? Or does it really matter at all to you?" She was feeling pretty disgusted now that she was looking at where they must do their experimentation.

Lorne followed behind close to Buffy, knowing that she could kill all of these people with her pinky, and he was more of a pacifist. He looked around at all of the experiments on demons and-he noticed-humans too...this place was sick.
Lorne couldn't help but feel very vulnerable in this place...he was a demon...in a demon-experimentation lab...this didn't bode well.
"Let's just get Atticus and get out...okay Sweetkins?"
