Her lips firmed as she looked down into her empty glass. Everyone's words filtered through her thoughts, though there weren't many. And quite honestly she didn't know what to say. Looking back up, her eyes scanned the tavern for answers.
Now she was getting distressed.
"Well....s**t."

Rain would hold his right hand up to his face, sighing and rubbing his temples. Then, using the furniture around him, he stood, lifting his broken right leg up off the ground as he hopped his way forward a bit. He paused, before lifting his bruised, dirtied, bloodied face to scan everyone's eyes in the bar. Droplets of sweat would begin to descend from his brow.
"I've been piecing this together over the past month or so, and there's an important fact that I have learned. That Teira, the girl who was captured, the girl who led Frozen Flame in the tournament, is sort of like a reincarnated soul of Sierra, the person this is all about. I'm not sure the details, because I'm not savvy on this whole soul mumbo-jumbo, and I can guarantee it's a bit more complicated than that."
"But, apparently, this isn't just about DESTRUCTION. It's about destiny. And that girl Teira has a very important one. I have it on good authority from her caretaker that she alone has the power to end Ra'Kar's threat, for good. And Ra'Kar, the demoness, is, from my understanding, Victor's equal in this endeavor. I'm not certain of the part she plays exactly, but she is still a valuable ally to the man. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if Ra'Kar was a lynch-pin of sorts in this Eden plan of Fah's..." Rain trailed off for a bit, as his body started to shiver as he stood and spoke.
"I know this is going on a lot of uncertainties and ifs, but if you think about it, why does Victor hold her in such high regard? Why did Victor go out of his way to set Ra'Kar loose? I know its not just to hurt his brother; Victor would have just killed Sierra to do that. So Ra'Kar is important to him. And so, Teira is important to us."
"I'm not sure if anyone has any better of a plan on how to stop this world-destroying plot..." he would pause, shooting a look at Sunstrike, before looking away again. "BUT if we can take out Ra'Kar, then we weaken Victor's threat, if not remove it altogether. And right now, the bad guys currently possess the one way we have of accomplishing this task. This is why..."
"This is why recovering Teira has to be our top priority! I know some of you might not be game for this plan, but think about this: Would you want to be taken hostage and given up for dead? Especially after one of the people who you cared for and trusted deeply abandoned you and threw you to the wolves? Whether or not she is truly important, I would like to recover her nevertheless."
Once more Rain paused, before focusing his attention on Kael now. "... Even if that means storming a floating fortress against insurmountable odds, only to have my life force stripped away and turned into one of the enemy. Because, it is the right thing to do. If I let the threat of danger or even death deter me in the path I have chosen, then I would never accomplish anything. It is... the right thing to do, even if its not the brightest."
Panting now, he raised his forearm to his forehead and wiped the sweat from his brow, smearing and partially cleaning the dirt covering his face, before smiling weakly. "And for crying out loud, what's it take to get a healer around here? Talk about poor service. Heh."

.....Amid all this hustle and bustle, the foreigner named Jerrard sat silent and apart; he had no connection to any of the people here. And thusly, no reason to be included in this whole shindig. .....Despite his obvious exclusion, Jerrard took up the task of a single-man audience at rest before an extensive play; focusing his attention, he listened closely to the words being exchanged all about him. It seemed that the topic was that of an overly dramatic battle of epic proportions - impending doom, radiant heroes, ruthless villians, a fair maiden needing a savior, and the promise of a climactic clash all included. Though it was an intriguing conversation - all participants seemed quite well-spoken - Jerrard deemed it useless to attempt to force his own person into the conversation. .....Jerrard was better left as he was, dispite his mounting curiosity. .....Now gulping down his mix of whiskey and water, Jerrard watched as a man came awfully near to him and proceeded to chug a bottle of water he himself removed from behind the counter. This man, like him, seemed somehow not involved with the occurrences falling out within the tavern. For a moment, the oddly dresed foreigner's mind returned to the dwarf who had served him - he chuckled, muttering "Paul," - who must have bustled away without answering his question to attend to other patrons, but that small creature held his thoughts for only mere moments. .....Jerrard continued listening to the interaction peacefully.

Rain Yupa "And for crying out loud, what's it take to get a healer aro-" "I can heal." Asherah stood up and headed over to the injured man. He didn't need to ask her to heal him, she was just used to it because of her age.
"What do you need healed?" With that said, Asherah tapped her forehead jewel and rubbed her hands together. The ruby jewel began to glow as she smiled at the man.
"Well?"

Blink.
Blink blink.
Rain laughed, turning and scooting himself up onto the top of the table he had been using as a brace. Shifting until he was "comfortable", he gestured with his arms open. "Pick a spot, I probably need it healed right now."
Rain's current injuries consisted of, and are not limited to, a busted lip, broken ribs, multiple gashes and bruises all over his exposed skin and probably some that were still covered up, an eye quickly puffing up, one missing tooth, one loosened tooth, a dislocated pinky finger on his left hand, several bruised ribs, a pretty badly injured right elbow, and the kicker was his lower right leg, which suffered a compound fracture where his fibula was piercing through the skin (and apparently, consisted of bone fused with titanium alloy). It appeared like his entire calf muscle and leg bones had been crushed by a compactor.
On top of that, Rain was beginning to run a pretty bad fever, though he hadn't noticed it quite yet. The highest point of recognition he gave was a comment afterwards of "And can you tell someone to turn the heat on in here? I'm freezing."

"Top to bottom then."
First Asherah touched her hand to his forehead. It was hot, a fever probably, but it wouldn't hinder the healing. Pulling up a stool, Asherah sat up on it and reached out to his puff eye.
"Close it."
Gently placing her index and middle finger on his eye lid, she simply smiled as a warming sensation radiated from the fingers.
"Sometimes it will be warm, sometimes it will hurt. Just tell me when it hurts and whatnot ok?"

Since his eye was half swollen shut anyways, it was not difficult for him to close it all the way. Two things would come into play, though.
First, Lucind's song would still be somewhat in effect, though it would be tapering off, so Rain would not feel any minor pains yet. Second, due to the fever he was beginning to run, he still felt cold, not warm, despite any healy magics that were working on him.
So most of whatever Asherah checked resulted with a "Nothing." or a "Nope, no pain." or the like.
Why, it would seem like Rain wasn't actually hurt at all!

Using her left hand, Asherah opened his mouth and poked at the loose tooth. It wasn't too bad, with a flick of the tooth and a quick shove, Asherah managed to stabilize the tooth, as for the missing one, she couldn't do anything about it.
Buy the time she was done with his tooth, she was done with his eye and had moved onto his lip.
"Really did a number on yourself chum. What the hell did ya do?"
The heat from her fingers increased as she moved onto worse wounds and owies. Standing up from the stool, Asherah gently put her hand on his chest and probed to feel for fractures among other injuries.
"I'm going to need you to lie down. If you want to look, go for it, but it's gonna look weird. This may hurt."
As soon as he would lay down, Asherah pulled up his shirt and sighed sympathetically towards his bruises. placing her fingers on his ribs, Asherah began to mumble softly as her fingers began to work their way into his flesh. Little by little her fingers felt about until they reached his ribs. The heat from her fingers was immense as she kept her focus on healing him.
This would take a few minutes.

"...hmm?"
Kuroha listened from his spot in the farther back seats. The voices of Sun and Hael carried out into the back areas of the bar. It was pretty mellow today, anyways, as far as commotion went. The whole talk of gaia's impending doom, and how Leviathan seemed to be caught square in the middle of it rattled the Samurai's brain with so many ideas. however, as the words of the Leviathan veterans went on, it became more and more clear that this situation involved everyone in gaia itself.
Kuroha smiled. He hadn't even gotten his drink, and already he became interested in something that involved the fate of his life, as well as many others. Good timing on his part, eh?
He said nothing though. He would try to find some way to get himself involved, indirectly or otherwise. For now, he's look more upon Asherah, who was with Rain Yupa, and healing him by the looks of it.
She was his initiation fight for Heaven or Hell, and she had ripped him a good one across the eye. He still had a scar from it, after all of this time.

Sun glared at Rain.
"None so blind as those that can't see. Pain or not, are you out of your mind, or just deaf? You put Ra'kar out and all you have is Victor, somehow I don't really believe his tower is based by her lodestone, anymore. Maybe once, in the beginning. And you,"
And his tone took on something altogether different.
"Pot calling kettle black! From what I can see for the past MONTH, is that you've been stalking Teira, and damn near tried to kill her. Yes, she and Lazenca told me of a few incidents involving your recklessness and shoddy workmanship. That's quite an affectionate name she had for you."
He folded his arms and stared at the other man.
"Victor didn't have to do anything, Ra'kar killed her last year, walked in on it myself. She's dead. Teira's all that's left, and she's NOT Sierra, she's shadow stuff. You go up there now, you end up dead, or worse. For a girl that's more whisper then real...'specially when bad happenings are going on down here on solid Gaia, that everyone could actually DO something about."
He blinked and took a drink.
"Lets face the fact that most of you are about as subtle as an elephant on tiptoes walking over eggshells in a full set drum factory."
He got up then and stretched. "Since I've bought a bit of time, I'm going to crash, I'm done with my part. Do what you want...just don't say I never warned you." Sun put a tip on the counter and wandered off into the recesses, a small wave for the hulking person in the door.
((Out for a week!))

"Yes, yes, the irony of the situation hasn't escaped me. Don't get your panties in a bunch," Rain responded to Sunstrike, waving him off like an annoyance, before laying on his back across the tavern's tabletop, his head resting at the edge. He still had the tooth he had lost in his pocket, but he would take care of that later. Despite what Lucind had done to him, getting that tooth shoved back in prior to the healing was mighty freakin' uncomfortable.
As Asherah would lift his shirt, though, he would initially start to sit up and grab at it to stop her, but found himself unable to do so; though he felt no pain, his body was giving out on him, especially now that he was laying down finally. The sight that greeted the young healer would be a bit much, since Rain's torso was over 70% scar tissue, especially in the abdomen region. A combination of battle and surgical scars, from a combination of either more battles than he'd admit to, or ones more intense than a mortal man should endure through, let alone survive. Either way, it wasn't something he was proud of.
"H-hey. Dinner and a movie first, okay?" Rain instead mused to the young woman, before all his muscles contracted as she pressed against his ribs, causing him to gasp aloud. Whatever she did, it was enough to slightly overcome the waning effects of the painless song, and the pain seemed to be lingering now.
"It was... one of the shadow soldiers from that floating island, Eden. That Victor fellow summoned them. I had thought the battle was won and let my guard down, and I ended up being used as a club for a bit. Whoops."
"Can... can you have someone turn up the heat or something? Its so cold in here," he requested, despite Sunstrike's oven/furnace being mere yards away, with heat pouring out of it. His fever was beginning to rise, though he seemed largely unaware of it. "I... have to get up there as quick as I can. We can't let them get away."

.....Jerrard sat on the same barstool he had occupied when he had first entered the packed tavern. He had successfully downed his drink within moments, and, seeing as Paul - the thought of the small creature still brought a rumbling chuckle - had disappeared and wasn't showing signs of reappearing anytime soon, was now left with nothing more to do than lazily trace his index finger about the line of his glass's opening. .....Pushing away from the corner, Jerrard's figure made its way along a path intending to exit the building.

She didn't mind the scars at all, once again, it came with the age.
"You have a fever." She said quietly, as she was trying to focus on his ribs. "If you'd like, I can warm you up some with a small spell."
A small smile painted her face as she slid her fingers out. Asherah shook a bit of blood off of her fingers before moving on to his arms. She then took his left and and examined his pinky.
"Breath in."
Crack!
She then took his elbow, and placed her hand on it.
"Quite a number..."

"Tch...."
The sound of the cracking finger echoed out into the Samurai's ears, and it made him scrunch his eyes and nose up a bit. That was NOT the sound he had wanted to hear today. It brought back some seriously bad moments in his mind. However, what else was gonna happen? Its not like it was going to sound like the cheer of a thousand children when it popped into place again.
Kuroha was tired of waiting for someone to serve him, even though he had forgotten to hail a waiter/ress before hand. So, he took from within his white Yukata a bottle of an unknown substance, just for him. While he did so, his eyes still never left Rain and Asherah. He was just preoccupying himself at the moment really.
