Okay, I made changes. One: the ugly "birds" are gone. Two, the ugly leaves that were near the light are gone. Looks plainer now, but I'm a beginner in backgrounds. Then again....I'm pretty much a beginner in photoshop. sweatdrop

You have a cute style Twindream. Since this thread is quite dead lately I want to give you guys something.
Gazette is one of my absolute favorite bands(Jrock) EVER and when I read this song translation, believe it or not, it reminded me of Cloti. I would say the song is best interpreted as Cloud's PoV. It's a beautiful & sad song, and it doesnt work out in the end. That's my perception of Cloti atleast. Enjoy <3 Ru-pon's lyrics are always tear-jerking.

Those are really heart-wrenching lyrics......it really does fit with the relationship Cloti had during AC for the moment. 3nodding 'Course, all was resolved at the end. xd

So in other words this line is saying that the singer and the girl whom he is singing to, were not meant to be. Oh, I've heard of that folklore. (It was in Absolute Boyfriend. xd ) Well, you'd kinda figure the relationship through the song, even if you didn't know about the folklore.

If you ever want to listen to them I'd start with the album NIL. Their best album in my opinion. Their new album, stacked rubbish, is ok but they are getting a bit to RAPish...it bugs me o O

Alright ppls! Announcement!! (Okay, I'm being overly dramatic....just a little project I'm doing)
Okay, my friend made this website for FF and Anime stuff and she elected me as her Secretary. Okay, you're thinking, 'what the crap has that got to do with anything?' Well, just hold on a bit. She asked me to make some manga out of a fanfic I'm doing, one of my Cloti fics. blaugh So yeah, ahem BIG announcement eh? Though, it'll take a million years before I can get ANYTHING up. In the meantime, I'm still working on that Cloti fic! whee

Oh, I had the weirdest dream last night! Okay, this was like, after DoC and for some reason everyone was in Aeris' church.....suddenly, Cloud held Tifa's shoulders and bent down to kiss her! Then he pulled and and said (sounding confident for once) "Thought you'd like a taste of a hero." And I was like eek (I was watching the dream if you know what I mean...) Tifa giggled and said something afterwards that I don't remember. xd What's funny was that suddenly a bunch of Cleris fans came from nowhere and tried to argue that the kiss didn't mean anything even going as far as to saying that Cloud just wanted a "taste" and that it didn't mean love. xd Okay weird dream, ya.
*No offense to any Cleris fan! How my mind works in my sleep even I've no idea*

Unfortunately, I can imagine that too. xd If Cloud ever kissed Aeris, then I would probably give up trying to prove that Cloti is canon. I would still support Cloti though. xd

Oh...I've been bored one day and I just decided to go to some Tifa shrine...to see what stuff the owner put up and their views on her character and whatnot. I never really thought of it....but this person relates Tifa to Rinoa a LOT...and I mean...I really can see the connection! I just never realized it.
[[Connections With Final Fantasy VIII
There are several similarties between Cloud & Squall, Tifa & Rinoa, and each respective couple's relationship. Tifa & Rinoa both have long dark hair and eyes and wear black. Tifa's mother passed away when Tifa was eight years old and Rinoa's mother, Julia Heartilly, was killed in a car crash before Rinoa's fifth birthday. Both their fathers are protective: Tifa's father blames Cloud for Tifa's accident, whereas Rinoa's father, General Caraway, disapproves of Squall. Both Tifa & Rinoa speak to animals as though they understand each other - Tifa to the dog in Mideel, Rinoa to her pet dog Angelo.
Tifa is a member of AVALANCHE, an anti-ShinRa resistance group; Rinoa is a member of the Forest Owls, a resistance faction in Timber. Although they aren't the leaders, they play an important part in holding the groups together. Both AVALANCHE & the Forest Owls require a mercenary's service in the form of Cloud & Squall, which is also a reason for each couple to become closer. Both couples share similar conversations regarding life the future, and how they've changed.
Cloud & Rinoa both fall dreadfully ill and are possibly lost forever. While Cloud has lost his mind and has to remain in Mideel, Tifa gives up everything to stay by his side. Similarly, while Rinoa was comatose, Squall did everything he could for her. Tifa & Squall stayed by their sides because they hoped for a cure and refused to give up.
Both couples keep their feelings aside until near the end of the game, so that the game wouldn't be filled with obvious love scenes. This makes open physical interaction more noticeable. When Tifa leans on Cloud and Squall hugs Rinoa, the game is soon over. Finally, during the Lifestream and Time Compression sequences, both couples are spiritually connected, enough to find and save each other no matter how dire the situation.
These are just some remote connections to things that happened in FF7 that Sheilanoticed, besides from Tifa & Rinoa or Cloud & Squall being similar in numerous ways. Take a look at these lines in similar scenes.
Tifa:"Give me a little longer... Just a little bit longer..."
Tifa:"This day will never come again... So let me have this moment..."
Cloud:
"This is probably the last time we'll have together..."
Rinoa:"Just a little longer."
Rinoa:"When we get back... We won't be able to stay together, huh?"
Squall:"...Maybe."
Here both Tifa & Rinoa are unsure of the future and want to put off what they need to do, while being in Cloud & Squall's arms. Also interesting is that that both Cloud & Squall use what Tifa & Rinoa told them in the past, to make them feel better and encourage them.
Cloud:"It's all right, Tifa. You said so yourself yesterday."
Cloud:"At least we don't have to go on alone."
Squall:"No one can predict the future, there are no guarantees."
Squall:
"Those were your words, Rinoa."
There's one more connection, the LOVELESS play and the intro text known as the scene in Edea's Flowerfield. Both of them mention a promise to be together again, initially the women don't understand, but they end up promising as well. LOVELESS is shown during the summer months, and FF8 also mostly occurs during the summer months.
Lead's Sister:"...I don't understand. Not at all. But... please take care of yourself."
Her Lover:"Of course... I'll come back to you. Even if you don't promise to wait. I'll return knowing that you'll be here."
Rinoa:"Promised...?"
Squall:"I'll be waiting for you. If you come here, you'll find me. I promise]]
