Shinichi waited until everyone had time to ask their questions, then took off himself. He climbed up a short stalk of bamboo and balanced on the top just a monkey, then continued on. He had to keep every sense aware for this monkey, which was probably lurking up near the tops of the trees, where it was safer. Shinichi dashed through by the diagonal method he had proposed, his feet making a pit-pit-pittering noise every time they hit the ground. Um, monkeys hated water, right? That meant that although he would have loved to stay by the river as to never lose his way, Shinichi knew that he had to search the other vast reaches of the bamboo forest. Even when he had lived here for the better part of a month, the damn forest changes every time unless he made a very clear trail. This time, however, he was in a hurry and needed to finish the mission. Shinichi made a mark on one of the thick and taller stalks, up near the top where he could hopefully see it from above. There was no use getting lost.

Watching as his teammates left to search in their assigned area, Ray continued to examine the map. The most noticeable landmark in the forest was the river, so he made sure to keep a mental note of where the river was in comparison to both sections on each of his sides, and compared to the starting point. After a moment he placed Sly on the ground and said "This time there are no free lifts, you've gotta help, so you're following on foot. Keydoke?"
Sly stood up and gave Ray a plain look. Walking over the a bamboo thicket facing his assigned section, Sly waited for Ray to get going.
Ray grinned slightly and shot off towards his assigned section. He searched in a zig-zag pattern that would makke the river on of the last places he would reach. He made sure to keep an eye out for other landmarks, but it was mostly just thicket after thicket, which also slowed him down slightly.

He was pumped to fight sora eairlier this day, but she proved to not be a worthy opponet. seince he had already prepaired to fight, he desided to take a short cut threw the forest, and stop to train for a while.

Zanza stoud faceing the west. He had desided to start with some tumbleing. this was an exersize he had learned in the acdemey but it was still quite usefull. though he hadn't used this skill in a while. he knew it was important to stay in tip top shape. zanza ran forward and jumped, atimpting to do a front flip. but he missed hislanding and fell on his butt.

as he proched the next branch, he realised he wasn't high enough to land on top of it. he hit the branch, torso first, and rapped his arms around it. he was about 15 yards in the air, and falling wouldn't feel too good. he pulled himself on to the branch and rested for a moment. he looked to his left and spotted a rather large group of vines handing down.

Zanza rised from his preched possion. still looking over the vines, he squated and then leaped to the closest vine. catching it with both hands, it was very slick and zanza didn't have a very good grip, so he began to slide off of it.

Tring to act quickly, zanza reached for anouther vine. but just as he did, the vine he was hanging from broke free of the tree that held it and began falling to the ground itself. Zanza landed on the ground, standing but it was still a hard fall.

after the rough landing, he stoud in a sprinting possion and ran for a few seconds, then leaped up to one of the vines. he pulled on it a few times to make sure it was sturdy, which it was. then he began to quickly climb up it, reachingthe hight he was preveisely at.
