::She didn't quite understand...something about a bird, and ashes, and rebirth, it was all too much...she had to fight back more tears. She still felt the guilt of Torments death, deep down. She needed consolation:::

Cora, I want you to know that as much as you feel you need to protect everybody that not everybody needs protection and that sometimes you're going to need it more than anybody else. In my world, my time, there are very few that I'd need protection from. I don't want you ever to worry about me again, its unneccessary."

Torment...I become so afraid...each time I leave I wonder if I'll be back...what happens when the Brink is finished with me? What happens then, when the Brink no longer needs me?

The way he had taught her to say thank you...Before she could open her eyes again to see him one last time, she was gone:::

*Tor sat motionless as she faded away, only able to look up to her closed eyes as she faded completely.*

The door to the Brink swings open to admit Malazar, grumbling and growling to himself as he tries to balance a cigarette in one hand and pull open the zipper on the duffel bag he was holding with both hands with his teeth. He's decked out yet again with enough luggage for three people and seems to be cursing everything in general under his breath.
