The annoyed crowd went away and Kihara stopped a few inches from the mand. "You havent changed one little bit."
Man: He groaned a bit as he looked up at her. "And neither have you my dear. You still like butting into other peoples buisness"
"Hmph, and you still enjoy conning people to get money."
Man: "Its the only way to survive now a days, What with all the demons running around." he said as he stood up and brushed himself off.
"There are other ways to make money than to con people. Its called being a good citizen."
Man: "Never! I refuse to work at one particular, my place in this world-.."
"..Is to roam it, Yes yes I know already. But might I ask why you took my scarf, It would only bring you back to me, and I know thats not what you wanted."
Man: "Shutup! I take what I can get, and your scarf protected you from that demon's flames the first time."
"You idiot!" Kihara exclaimed as she clonked his head. "It only protected me because I am its owner! And also, I am a priestess. You knew that, You were willing to put someone's life on the line just to get money!"
Man: "So what! Its a dog eat dog world out there" he said as he rubbed his head.

Kagome: Kagome looked over towards where Inuyasha's gaze was. She saw Kihara and a man and a scarf. But she didn't understand why Inuyasha said what he said.
"Why, what's wrong, Inuyasha?" Kagome questioned.

Rin, Jaken, and Sesshomaru walked into the entrance to the village.
"what a nice village, isn't it Lord Sesshomaru"
"Rin don't bother Lord Sesshomaru with your noncence!" Jacken said meanfully to her.
"...Jaken be quiet.."
"hmm... yes m' lord"

InuYasha turned back around when he heard the 'dog eat dog' phrase. "Oh...I thought Kihara was gonna kill him. Literly. Anyways, I was right about her hitting him on the head. Now, I need to have a word with this...man." InuYasha walked a little closer to them and cupped his hands around his mouth, and shouted. "What was that about dogs eating dogs?"

Kihara turned to Inuyasha
"Butt out Inuyasha, This isnt your buisness. If anyone is going to pound him, Its gunna be me."
She said to him with a glare and a fireball in her hand.
Man: "Umm...Well. This is interesting...You are with a half-demon now Kihara? I thought you despised demons"
"HUSH YOUR MOUTH BEFORE I BURN IT OFF!!!!"
Man: His eyes widened and he snapped his mouth shut

InuYasha stood there staring at the two. Don't use direct eye contact, ot she'll know what I'm thinking! He thought. But he couldn't help the smile. "Uh...well I leave you two, to your...sparkling confersation. Oh yeah, whatsyourname, don't get any ideas about me! Or else!" InuYasha turned around and muttered something he said too loudly. "Heeheehee..." He covered his mouth and picked Kagome up then started running. "I really hope Kihara didn't hear that. I hope, goddamn, I hope..." He kept on muttering.

Kagome: 'What in the world just happened back there?? Oh well! I'm with my Inuyasha now!' Kagome thought to herself. She reached up as she lightly grasped Inuyasha's triangular ears and began to gently rub them with care.
"Where are we going Inuyasha?" Kagome asked.

Man: He looked over at Inuyasha and back to Kihara. "Hm, Well this is certaintly different."
Kihara glared and she sighed a bit, she flicked her wrist and the barrier faded away.
Man: He looked over at the barrier disappearing, and back to Kihara.
"Kihara..." he said as he tried looking at her face.
"Just go Hien."
Hien: "You....Said my name?"
"Yeah, So what! That is your name, How else am I supposed to address you?!"
Hien: His eyes blinked a bit, and he smiled softly. "You have lost most of your bitterness Kihara, I am almost surprised at you"
Kihara looked up and looked over at Hien, "What do you mean "almost surprised"?
Hien: "Because I knew that you werent completly mean to people or demons, both even."
"Shutup! Just because I am friends with Inuyasha doesnt mean that I still dont have a hatred for demons!"
Hien: Hien smiled and walked over to her, and placed a finger under chin, "The last time I checked, you didnt even have a heart for them."
Kihara looked up at him and took a hold of his wrist. "I told you before, Not to touch me!" She said as her arm started glowing red.
Hien: "Kihara! Dont! I didnt mean to!"
Kihara didnt listen, she sent out a small flame and she suddenly stopped, She let go of him and took a few steps back, She looked away from him and she summoned her wings and flew up.
Hien: "KIHARA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!"

InuYasha didn't care about the ears, for his was more into his thoughts. At the same time, he was listening to the confersation. As soon as Hien shouted twice to stop at Kihara, InuYasha began to run as fast as he could. He then ran up a wall, placed Kagome sofly on top of a building where there were stairs, and ran back down. He began to walk slowly as people noticed him and the three. As he walked towards Kihara and Hien, he drew the Tetsusaiga. "And everyone call me a demon, look what your doing now. Trying to kill a friend who pissed you off because he accidently did something. Now you're gonna run away. Are you going to cry? Are you gonna kill me too? What are you going to do?" InuYasha asked. He then turned around to Hien and asked. "What the hell did you do to her?" Hien answered. "Ah, that'll do it. Sesitive about certain things. She always seems if she doesn't want me around or any guys around. I guess she has something ahe knows that we don't." InuYasha said and turned back around. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" He screamed as loud as he could.

Kagome: 'I can't decide who he's trying to protect...' Kagome thought to herself. 'Inuyasha.. you're always looking out for others... but.. what about you? Who will be there to look after you? I can't do much to protect you... but you...' Kagome thought again as she watched the events unfold below her.

Kihara looked down at Inuyasha
"Havent I told you before not to butt in! This is none of your concern Inuyasha! And for the record, He is not my friend! He is just some guy that I crossed paths with, Who doesnt seem to get the idea that I dont want him!!"
Hien: Hien looked up at Kihara and back down. "There are lots of things that you dont know Inuyasha, I can tell you that already. Now if you dont mind, I must be leaving." He looked up at Kihara once more and he smiled softly. He looked towards Inuyasha and nodded, and walked away.
Kihara watched as Hien left. Once he was out of sight, She looked over at Inuyasha and glared and she flew off.

Miroku and Sango had come out of the forest, holding hands, and Sango leaning against his shoulder. Miroku looked down upon her, and he smiled softly to himself. He always felt happy with Sango around.
They came upon the village, and saw Kihara fly above it in the opposite direction.
Sango looked up and watched her, catching a small glimpse of the expression on Kihara's face. "I know that look. Something is troubling her."
Miroku looked down at Sango.
"You know Kihara from your past right?"
"Hm?, Yes, I do. Her village was close to ours, and her father and her came to my village for supplies sometimes, and we became good friends. I thought that she had died when Naraku attacked our villages."
"I see, So do you know whats troubling her?"
"She always gets that expression. She gets it when she is thinking about something from her past, When I knew her then, It was always about her mother, For it being so long, Now, It could be a lot of things."

He sighed. InuYasha sheathed his sword. "Kihara and Hien know something about eachother that nobody else does. I'm getting very curious here. Kihara sure will get me if she what I'm thinking about the two, now..." He sighed. InuYasha turned towrds the people and shouted at them. "Nothing to see here people! Go back to your..erm...Go back to whatever you were doing!"
~After InuYasha gets Kagome down, and out of the village~
"I just...have this major insticnt. I want to help, I want to get involved. But I can't. I always mess things, people, Kagome lives whole entire lives! I just don't know how to help, all I know is how to fight. And thats my main problem. Now with Kihara and that guy Hien. I swear something happened between them. And I think relationship wise. And you know Kihara can get hurt real easy. I just try to help, god, I hate it for myself to think like this! I mean, Kihara gets mad at me for ficken living!" He explained to Kagome. He sighed. "I just need to know what you think. Kihara is one of the only people who has stayed in our group and is friends with everyone, and I'm not going to see our group fall apart. Tell me something you know that I don't know. I just...just help me say something to make me feel better and to help for forget this stress. Just say something."

Kihara flew a few miles away from the village. She spotted a tall tree with some good shade, and headed down. She landed and she fluttered them and they disappeared. She sighed as she leaned her back against the tree and she slid down its rough bark until she plopped onto the forest floor.
"Stupid Hien.... I know what he was trying to do. He likes every girl that he lays his eyes upon. He reminds me too much of Miroku now that I think about it..."
Kihara sighed once more and she pulled the scarf from her kimono. She looked over it and she smiled softly, memories entering her mind once more. After a few minutes, she hugged it closely, trying to hold back tears in her eyes.
"I should not have done that...I know that I over did it. If I see him again.."
Kihara stopped in the middle of her thoughts, and folded up her legs and embraced them, the scarf in between.
