Hey fellow pub-goers! Time for another weekend update! And if you're going to groan, do it subtley please biggrin
Nah I'm not going to give a rant this week, suffice it to say I was down in Larne again to see my girlfriend which was great because I hadn't seen her in like a week. We went to the same bar as last time and this time I actually got drunk enough to get up and do karaoke. My girlfriend and I sang "In the End" by Linkin Park and I have to say, we f**king OWNED IT biggrin
How was everyone's weekend then?

You say you were drunk? Are you sure you owned it, or did it just seem like you owned it to you? xd (Sorry, I couldn't help but ask.)

[King_Chaos] You say you were drunk? Are you sure you owned it, or did it just seem like you owned it to you? xd (Sorry, I couldn't help but ask.) Well I was really pleased with how well we sang it. It seemed to me that we sang it well, I dunno if we actually did or not. But our friends said we did. Maybe they were just humouring us confused I had a great time though, that's what counts biggrin And I LOVE trains xd

steam trains are brilliant. One runs across the road from my house. IT's brilliant. I used to go for a ride on it when I was a kid, which is why I still love it, because it reminds me oh childhood...the smell, the sound..

Ours are just normal trains but I still love them. I don't know why though. Before I started going down to Larne to see my girlfriend, I hadn't been on one in ages. I like the noise they make and I like how they show you places you've been to loads of times but from a completley different perspective. It's awesome biggrin

The only times I've been on trains has been when I was in foreign countries, and even then they were new trains not the old coal or steam ones. xp

Trains just rock in general, the only thing that bothers me is the price. It's £5.30 from Belfast to Larne which means that when I go down there, I spend a tenner alone on travel neutral
So what plans does everyone have for the rest of the week? It's just hitting me now that I'm leaving my secondary school next Thursday-I've been there for 7 years. It's the end of an era -sniff- and we're all trying to figure out what to get our teachers. And after that, I have a month of exams and then 4 months of summer before I (hopefully) start university biggrin

Apart from that, I've got lots of Chemistry to be studying and I haven't even looked at Biology yet neutral End of year exams suck gonk

Indeed they do, and lacking money sucks as well. xp That and the massive amounts of birthdays in April, they totally ate up all the birthday money I had gotten.

Yeah for me it's June/July that does that, it sucks gonk On the bright side, last night didn't cost too much, £4 for the taxi and £8.50 for a carry out(what it's called in Ireland when you buy alcohol from a store). It was a great night, so funny xd

[King_Chaos] Thanks for clearing that up, otherwise I would have thought you got some food to go. xd Take Out: Food bought "to go" Carry Out: Alcohol bought from an off-licence(stems from the clinking sound the glass bottles make in the bag) I love Northern Irish dialect biggrin

[King_Chaos] xd Yeah, languages can be fun. You can end up confusing people without even trying. We did just that when my friend's friend from America came over. We were just talking normally and she hadn't a clue what we were saying, it was hilarious xd
