Kilik took a step inside the Gym and looked around. "Quite a lot of flowers she has here," he whispered, running his hand over one of the flower petals. It give him somewhat of a flashback to the Celadon City Gym and when his Eevee chose to evolve into Flareon. He looked over his shoulder at Nina. "I don't plan on losing, all right?" he laughed. Kilik looked ahead once more and put a stern look on his face.
"Flare! Flareon! Flare! Eon!" his Pokemon barked into his ear. Kilik laughed.
"You'll do fine," he told the Fire-type. A girl with pink hair was kneeling and tending to some flowers. She was wearing short white shorts and a tight white button-up, "Excuse me," he went over to her, "may I find the Gym Leader?" he asked. She looked up.
'You're lookin' at her," she laughed.

Meowth glared at him but did as he was instructed. He closed his eyes and focusing in on himself all the while holding onto the wildly flying bird he found the spot that inabled him to use Thunderbolt and unleased the powerful attack upon the bird pokemon. While the shock didn't effect him it along with it being the birds weakness sent it spiralling down to the ground smoking a bit in places due to the high voltage that had just been sent through it. Meowth screamed in terror as him and the bird pokemon plumited down to the earth.
"Meowth just jump off." Dante called up to his frieghtend pokemon amusedly. 'Really sometimes Meowth just doesn't think.' he thought to himself as he watched Meowth jump off and the bird pokemon smash into the ground.

Nina's head turned in the direction of Whitney's voice so fast that her neck cracked. Whitney stood up, and after looking to Kilik, she made eye contact with Nina.
"OH!" Whitney squeaked, "if it isn't Nina! I'm surprised that the police allow you to be walking around in the broad daylight now!" Whitney looked to Anna for a moment. "Are you still walking around with THAT stupid thing? I don't know how you can stand to be around it-- it's more hideous than you."
Anna's mouth fell open. She was tempted to speak, but said nothing.
A second later, Whitney studied Mihoshi. "And what is that dumb little thing you're holding? It's about as attractive as a Zubat and as intelligent as a bag of rocks... It's no doubt that the latter part is true, especially considering that it's been trained by you."
Nina's hands were at her sides, curled into fists, and Mihoshi was obviously angry. "Whitney," she said through clenched teeth, "don't you even get started with me. At the moment I'm not here to talk to you; I'm here with my friend and that is all."
Whitney looked toward Kilik. "Your friend is kind of cute," she said, bearing a grin. "So how is it that he's friends with you?" she asked, looking to Nina for a second. Nina bit her lip, and didn't respond, as Whitney turned toward Kilik again. "So," she said in a voice sweeter than honey, "what can I do for you?"

Even though Keegan's embrace was a bit unexpected, Kasiya happily accepted the hug. Plus, what he said made sense - Shocker was about as stubborn as she was. "Thank you," she said quietly, tearstains still fresh on her cheeks as she pulled back and smiled up at him. Then, against what she'd call her better judgement, she stood up on tiptoes and gave him a soft kiss.

He scratched the back of his head and then looked at his Flareon. Kilik then turned toward Whitney. "I'm here for a Gym Battle. Three on Three, no time limit." He wasted no time to ask for what he wanted. The boy then looked at Nina then back to Whitney.
"A battle? With me?" she said, sounding surprised. The leader then laughed a bit to herself, "Haven't had one of those in a while. Sure, I'm please ya." She winked and grabbed the boy's hand.
Kilik somewhat stumbled when she grabbed him to take him into the actual battling area. He took a stand in the blue wing, while the Gym leader stepped into the red. "I'll start off..." he picked up the park ball from his belt, "with this! Come on out, Scyther!" In a flurry of stars, the green and red Pokemon appeared in front of him. She brandished her deadly weapons.
"SCY!" she growled. Kilik put a hand on his side and smirked.
"Your move, Whitney."

Meowth walked over to Dante angrily and made to scratch his own trainer when he heard Pidgotto pick itself off of the ground and glare at him stubornly. "Eh? Its not done?" He asked suprised.
"So it would seem." Dante comented offhandedly. "Why dont you take it out with a Pay Day attack Meowth?"
Meowth nodded and ran back to the middle of the arena befor spinning around and unleashing tons of coins into the air and sending them flying at the bird pokemon. While the Pidgotto did a good job of avoiding them it simply couldn't do much in its weakend state and finally collapsed signalling the end of the match.
Dante jumped up in the air chearing hapilily and running over to pick up Meowth and hugged the cat pokemon happily. "Great job there Meowth! Can you pick up the mess you made though and I will see about getting you something from the mart."
Meowth just rolled his eyes as he was set down. "Yeah sure make me do all the work." He set about doing it to as his trainer went to talk to the gym leader. ((How did we decide Pay Day would work again? Or if it did anything at all?"))

Whitney chuckled. Reminds me of a festive tree of some sort, she thought. Reaching for her belt, she snatched a Pokeball, and flung it out onto the arena. In a flash of light, a Clefairy appeared; its tail twitched a little as the Pokemon looked toward the Scyther. It didn't seem intimidated. "Clefaiiiry!" it called.
"Let's start out small," Whitney said, "and work our way down. Minimize, Clefairy!" The Clefairy obeyed the Gym Leader, and a small ring of light appeared around the Pokemon, which helped to physically shrink it in stature.
"Your turn, cutie," Whitney said to Kilik with a wink.
Nina was watching the beginnings of the match from the sidelines, still holding Mihoshi, and Anna hovering at her side. "That GIRL!" Nina said to Anna, "I can't believe her! She's hitting on Kilik! Ugh!"
"Is that bad?" Anna asked, looking to Nina.
"Yes it's bad!" Nina responded. "She doesn't even know him yet she thinks it's okay to just start acting the way she is!" Mihoshi chirped, simply.

Kasiya's gesture totally caught him off guard. Keegan quickly regained his composure, and wrapped his arms around her, ending the moment with another hug. "I like being with you," he said. "You brighten my day. Now how about we go get healed up and then hit that gym, what do you say?"

Mike groaned, he never liked Houndoom's much. He reached for Titanium's pokeball, a second wind of confidence pushing back his frailty. "I'll send out T-" He stopped, noting the types in his brain. Oh crap, Steel is weak to fire, and Titanium ain't no Jolteon so he won't stirke first. He scrunched his face, surveying his Pokemon over. After a little bit of computing he finally tossed out a Pokeball. "Go Shiver!" The Cloyster happily burst out, hopping into battle.
"Alright buddy, start this battle out good, Surf!" Shiver did as he was told, a rather large tidal wave churning towards the flaming hell hound.

"Yeah, let's do just that," Kasiya said, laughing a bit. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, and smiled. "Okay, let's go," she said, quickly becoming her cheery self again. She recalled Ariel, remembering that Shocker'd been poisoned by that Muk's Poison Gas, and needed treatment soon. She mounted her bike, and they were off, headed towards Celadon City once more.

"Nice try," Flannery said, her voice barely audible. "Let's counter that with a Sunny Day."
Houndoom jumped up and howled, as the temperature in the room suddenly skyrocketed. Bright sun rays shone down through the glass skylights in the gymnasium roof, the water from the Surf attack evaporating at a very fast rate as it crashed down on Houndoom, who braced himself for impact. He snarled when it was over, like most fire types, he despised water. He pawed the ground, awaiting his next order.
"Give it a Solar Beam," Flannery called, pointing at Shiver. With no charge-time needed, Houndoom opened its mouth, and loosed an intense beam of bright solar rays at the Cloyster.

"Well I think I'm going to return you guys for now," Mitsu said holding up the three Pokeballs. Each one was sucked back in and Mitsu placed thier balls in her bag. "I hope I haven't missed too much of it," Mitsu said trailing off a bit as she headed back towards the gym.
She stepped though the doors of the gym in time to see a tidal wave of water. "Shiver no doubt," Mitsu said and began to head back to the arena.

"Shiver! Counter with a-er...Ice beam?" Mike stuttered a bit, causing his Pokemon to falter and get struck by the Solarbeam. Shiver slid across the Gym floor, obviousbly fainted. "Damn, return." Mike recalled his Pokemon, prepping another for release. "Come on Portabello, I need some muscle here!"
The grass Pokemon hopped around upon being relased. Noticing the Houndoom it happily searched for Mitsu's whereabouts, thinking it was Sapphire. "Oh, she's not here." He said dissapointed, glaring at the fire Pokemon.
Mike wasn't about to go down easy. "Sky Uppercut Portabello, send him packing!"
The Breloom charged, his hands glowing a shade of blue. He slid on the ground, kicking off with lightning speed and scoring a direct hit on the Houndoom's chin.

Keegan lifted Althena into the basket on the front of his bike before he climbed on, and pushed off, following Kasiya towards the big city. It wouldn't be long now, he thought, feeling the cool air rush through his reddish hair. Poor Helios needed treatment too, after taking those heavy hits from the Machop. He couldn't believe how rude those two bikers had been. His thoughts churned over in his mind as he pedaled.

She had made it to the arena just in time to catch the end of round one. "Dang," Mitsu muttered. It's a good thing I taught Ebony Brick Break just now. Mike had sent Portabello out and it was charing at the Houndoom. C'mon Portabello, land the blow! Mitsu remembered how it had taken her own Houndoom out just the night before.
