Mear greeted Zel with a small, rare smile, before returning her attention to her water, taking another sip. Feeling her strength returning, though only slightly, she conjured a long padded bench to sit on while she waited for the weakness in her legs and dizziness to abate.

Zel furrowed his eyebrows in question, noticing that Mear didn't seem to be very strong at the moment. "Did something happen while I was gone, or something?" he asked, glancing around at the others, then placing his gaze back on Mear.

Cassi made sure Soki wasn't looking while she slipped out of view, opened Leidan's door quietly, and saw Leidan sleeping soundly. She creeped inside and closed the door silently. She saw a bench next to the bed and sat on it. Laying back, Cassi just watched Leidan sleep. Well, isn't he beautiful.

Mear sighed at Zel's question, then answered, "I wasn't feeling too well, because.. well, it's complicated. Let's just say I was ill, and Maro healed me, and I'm fine now. Well, except for being rather dizzy."
Leidan turned slightly in his bed, nearly waking, but managing to grasp his dream and stay asleep. He dreamt of how he and his little sister used to steal from the rich boy's house near the street the two little thieves had made their home. The boy had always picked on his little sister, pulling her hair and calling her names. Leidan had gotten into quite a few fist-fights with the boy. He dreamt of one now, smirking in his sleep.

Mear smiled at Zel, then looked out a nearby winodw, noting the time. "Well.. I'm rather tired. Do you think you could help me back to my room? It's that one," she pointed to a room about three doors down. "I'm afraid my legs are rather weak right now."
Leidan nose itched. And despite his best attempts to stay asleep, he couldn't stand the itch, and awoke because of it. He sat up, the covers falling away from his bare chest, and scratched his nose, grumbling under his breath. He then saw Cassi, and gave her a confused look, "Is it time to go already?"

Cassi gasped. "Uh, no, uh, shoot. Uh, sorry. That was creepy. That was..." her voice trailed off as she left the room, blushing wildly.
She returned to her room, put her hair in two braids, and tied the ends with red ribbons. Why did she do that? God, he looked good without a shirt. No, he's too old! Who cares how old he is when he looks like that? Oh, she was so confused.

Leidan made a face that was laughably confused and disoriented. "What'd I do this time?" he asked no one in particular. He got up, pulling his tunic and trousers back on, before leaving the room. "Um.. did Cassi come through here? I think I upset her, somehow," he said, looking at the few people still out in the hall.

Skai woke suddenly, for no reason at all. She jumped out of bed and pulled on her boots, brushed ehr fingers through her dirty, oily hair, and groaned. "I need to bathe." She muttered before walking out the door and to the washroom. Once there, the water practically invited her in.

Zel nodded, and walked over to Mear. "Sure, I'll help you to your room." he said, bending down and sliding his arm underneath her's, then helped her to her feet, leading her towards her room.

"Thank you," Mear said as he helped her to her feet. They walked into her room, and she sat on the bed, pulling back her covers. She snuggled down underneath them, and smiled at Zel, before yawning and closing her eyes.

Zel smiled back at her, before walking back out of her room, gently closing the door behind him. He hoped she would feel much better when she woke up, cause she sure seemed to not be feeling well. He walked back over to the group, and as he did so, he remembered Leidan's question, and turned to him. "Oh, yeah. I saw Cassi. She went down to her room, that way." he stated, pointing in the direction of Cassi's room.

Get a hold on yourself, woman! Cassi took several deep breaths and calmed down. She walked out of her room and saw Leidan. "Sorry," she said quietly. "I guess I couldn't help myself." Cassi was blushing again.

Soki had been quiet for the last half hour or so. He as thinking about why he felt so much better.
"So... If I think of myself as no more than a vessel for the crest of power,I'll lose who I am and surrender to total instrumentality... but if I think of it as it is,and don't rely on it so much.... to remeber I am capable of things as well,then I will not be overcome. Because I am myself,and this crest has no personality!"
Soki's world got much brighter that day. He couldn't help but smile much wider than he had in a long time.
