Most stuff i do is my on thin' really.... so ya jus cus its what happens for church don' mean the influence is true! I think kids try finding any reason they can't to not go to church personally...

Yeah and neither my mom whom I lived with for the most part of my life nor my dad had any influence in my art. Apparently my dad liked to doodle some but like I said I hadn't lived with him for a good part of my life. And when I did I was never encouraged to persue it. Soooo yeah. ^^;
And about kids avoiding going to church at any and all costs, I believe it. Though there are those few that will go pretty willingly. ^^;

Neither of my parents is remotely artistic, aside from my dad being able to somewhat play the guitar and piano, but here I am, an Illustration and Graphic Arts major. o.o

I think that the main point that Anne was trying to make was that most children follow their fathers infulence on religious beliefs and whatnot. I don't think anything else really is an influence...
Oh did you know that most kids are more than likely to marry someone like their parents. xd Weird ne? That's like saying I'd marry a cheap skate old fart like my dad. xd Hahahaha! Yeah right.... stare
I've learned a lot from my sisters and my parents on what I'm looking for. Plus there's the fact that I just might never get married anyways... *goes on randomly*

I wouldn't be surprised if I married someone like my dad. He & I get along very well & he has influenced my activity in religion. He's an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society & used to work as a Sunday school teacher. I'm now a member of the society & a Confirmation II Sunday school teacher. I couldn't imagine going after someone like my mother, though. xp Sometimes I wonder how Dad puts up with her.

well, if you think about it... it's not a suprise that people follow after there fathers... after all the father is masucline and has an air about them that states, "Do as I tell you or else..." and the mother's have the compasionite stance that leaves one feeling like it doesn't matter what mom says.
I'll admit, I'm more like my father then mother.... >.> sweatdrop and Zet reminds me of my mother, not just the fact that he shares the same birthday as my mother...

Maybe I'm close to Dad because our birthdays are so close together? Mine is next month on the 19th, his is the same on the 20th. He got his birthday present a little early about 20 years ago. xd

My sister is exactly 6 months & 9 days younger than me. It was actually pretty easy to figure out. February 19 to August 28. Her birthday is 9 days after our late maternal grandfather's & my birthday is 6 months before. Mom seems to be the odd one out, her birthday being April 25. Doesn't seem as easy to find. Or looking at it, my birthday is an odd one out since it's the only birthday that's less that 20 on the calendar.
