Yuri looked down at him. He had already listened for the same thing from where he stood, there was nothing coming from Suka, no heart beat, no breathing. It was odd. But Yuri simply watched her, waiting to see what she might come up with. He knew she wouldn't come up with anything different than him, but that did not mean he should leave. He had to stay and see if she might have a reason for this happening. She said he was not dead...so maybe she did know what had happened. Maybe she did have the answer he needed.

Karin's eyes widened and she suddenly pulled back, very quickly, and sat up straight. She stared at Suka for a few seconds, then looked up at Yuri. "Wh-what should we do?" she stammered, one hand gripping Suka's shirt tightly. "The hospital?" She couldn't believe he was dead. She didn't smell blood, and she saw no physical injuries at all. There must be something else wrong. Like... was he sick? She'd never seen him sick, but it was a possibility, right? But she knew he wasn't dead. He couldn't be!

Yuri shrugged. "He wouldn't want to go to a hospital...I don't know what to tell you. But if the only light we had wasn't the stars then maybe things would be easier. There's not even a moon out." He shrugged again. "I'm sorry..." He leaned against the tree near him, looking over at Suka's body and then to Karin...

Karin bit her lip nervously, glancing back down at Suka again. She shifted so she was sitting on her knees, and just remained there, not moving at all. Her head tilted back once when Yuri mentioned the sky, and she glanced around, confirming that there was no moon in sight. Was that what was causing it? She blinked, and then looked back at the motionless Suka. "...do you think.. he'll be better in the morning?" she asked helplessly. "Or... move him to a better lit room?" She was just making random suggestions now... She couldn't really do anything to help. She could manipulate water, but how did that help someone who was injured or.. whatever he was at the moment? It didn't.
