Finn was just ready to get the ******** out of dodge. He'd done his part, though falling ill again during the mission certainly hadn't been a treat. Grimacing as he stepped through the portal at what lay beyond, he realised that now he had some explaining to do to a certain death intermediate that might very well be waiting for him on the other side.

Tommy had clambered off of the great beast when it seemed an appropriate time to do so, and as the portal opened, he booted his way towards it, weapon unsummoned, a hand pressing against a blackened wound just below his chest.

His first attempt at reaching the portal was blocked with debris, so he tried a different course.

Again he was deterred, and had to find yet another way. This time, his path remained clear and he was able to escape through the portal without further delay.

Lydia very timidly and quietly tried to make her way to the portal, with great success, though before she slipped through back to deus she turned to have one last glimpse of the destruction, while worry over her friends and one individual in particular gnawed away at her insides. After a moments hesitation, she continued on her way through, hoping to find those that she sought after on the other side.

The beast shrieked, thrashed, began to fail and collapse, and around it the mall was collapsing and burning. Jordan was more than happy to hear the call for retreat, and he turned to head for the portal.
A huge coil of dying flesh slammed limply down in his path, and he had to jump back and backtrack to find a way around it.

The way was clear to the portal, and Jordan hesitated only a moment, looking back, before stepping through.
He put up no resistance to the cleaning up and checking over. The Life hunters on the other side kept him until they were certain that the blackened flesh of his hand was clearing up and healing. He stayed willingly; much as he wanted to shower and sleep, he wanted more to know that he wasn't going to go paranoid and aggressive again. But eventually they let him go, with a stern admonishment to come back immediately if the coloration stopped receding or he felt any change in his mental state.

Holy s**t. The sheer level of nope, no, <********> no was rather staggering. Snagging Maebe by the wrist Cami immediately turned towards the portal. "Home. Now." A part of her was surprised, all things considered, that she had the energy to dodge debris and monster well enough to get through the portal with relative ease. At one point her hand slipped out of Maebe's but, considering what she burst into on the other side, might have been a good thing.
She might have pulled them both back through in a 'thanks but no thanks' gesture.
