I'd rather go with option 2 myself and back up as well, we succeeded in our goal of getting rid of that other wave of enemy units anyway so I think we can afford to back up now and patch ourselves up. Cuz we're not gonna be doing any damned good at all if we stay and fight this next wave only for a retaliation that can possibly off a few of us if we don't take them all down in one turn again. Cuz ouch. We all got banged up hella bad, most of us are either in critical or are damaged. Fighting in this state is too risky, do not pass go, do not collect $200, go straight to Jail kinda thing.

Voted for the first one since most of us have jobs that take up our time as well as few of us have personal issues that we need to deal.

Honestly option 2 is really the most seemingly best choice because people do have lives like Isa said, myself included. And games tend to take too long to advance because of that.
I like it better if it was scheduled games since most everyone would most likely have more freedom and more likely to respond. And yeah, it'd be nice that we can get everyone to come together maybe around the summer or winter (or whenever the planned schedule for the Boardgame)all at once to discuss strategy to think about our moves and whatnot.
So I'm choosing option 2.

Definitely option 1. Trying to to get 8+ people online at the same time for any length of time is a a feat in its self. Just to start you have to deal with time zones. I live in Hawaii. I have a 6 hour difference from people on the East Coast.
Then you factor in peoples social actives, jobs, other things they have going on in their lives, etc that window of getting all players online at the same time gets even smaller.
We do benefit from a core group of players that seem motivated to keep the game going, which helps. We would just have to deal with inevitability that we will probably never have 100% of players online at the same time and be prepared to npc or do without their character.

Agreeing with Kowsauni, getting a group of people together around the same time is difficult, and there's also the factor for me that I am not active during the days and afternoons, being nocturnal and all. Also other issues going on in my house rn. And the fact my family may or may not be planning to go o0n a goddamned roadtrip soon and drag me along for it... Ugh... RIP me and no internet. Freedom of being able to come and go whenever we have the time/moment to spare is preferable for me.

Noted, thank you for those responses, they were the types I was curious about.
I think the simple answer is that I’ll do both formats. The long paced style will continue, but I will also have a smaller group of maybe 5 people for the scheduled session format since there seems to be enough people capable of doing it.

While I understand you want me to save whatever uses for the Reaper Card, we do have a boss that we need to kill this turn or else one of our group will likely die by his attack (don't know if his Luna will activate or not) if he's not taken. So my question is this: Are you okay about me using the last use of the Reaper Card? If no, I can trade with either Gale or Kowsauni for the Spectre Card.

Updated my game profile thinggy, good game everyone. Also, putting this here: May I please call dibs on the Quick salve scroll if no one else claims it? It's the only thing I can make use of from our convoy gatherings. owo;; Other than that, here's looking forward to the next game whenever we have it. o/
