Ah, so that was it. Something she was already aware of. Junko pouted, eyes narrowing just slightly as she opened her mouth to retort, at least until he continued on to say exactly what she was about to reply with. Good, at least he knew. Her mouth closed again, glancing around for any sign of Lizzy watching. Because for some reason? Too much? Junko rolled her eyes. "She's my best friend." She said simply. Lizzy had deemed them Soulmates, which she happily agreed with. They had so many similar tastes, they reacted the same way to many things, and really the only things they seemed to differ on were their feelings on Mac. Lizzy loved Mac, Junko couldn't see why. But for Lizzy? She'd pretend, she supposed. "I always pretend to like you for her." She shrugged, allowing him to spin her. Junko's only worry was getting stuck...which she didn't! Yay! When she was facing him again she placed her hand on his shoulder, keeping a gentle grasp on the one that had been used to spin her. "It takes a lot for me to dislike someone, you know. I want to like you, I want to see what she sees in you." Junko frowned. If they were being honest, she would go with it. "I want Lizzy happy."

"Ohhh, can you influence someone to sleep then?" Lizzy couldn't resist asking another question to add to the train of questions; if she could, maybe Mot could benefit for it, seeing how he seemed to be the anti-sleep.
"Spinning is fun," She agreed with a smile and a nod, her smile only widening as she continued, "It is! I think... Friends make a lot of things that happen in this school worth being here. It's why it's nice to try and get along with everyone, even if it's really impossible to like everyone... Three years pass by so very quickly. I mean... It feels just like yesterday that I passed my first exam, but I'm already in my final year now." She trailed off, looking embarrassed, "Ah! Sorry about that... Didn't mean to start ranting."
When she was addressed again, Lizzy paused, tilting her head as she tried to understand what Amarus was trying to say... And ended up blushing as she stopped bouncing, her cheeks flushing pink, "Oh.. Uh... I-I guess it's... The advantage of... Not having a large... Chest..." Her cheeks deepened in color, although Amarus' dance soon got her giggling, even sparkling a bit.
"I think that's really good for improvisation~" She beamed, clapping her hands together, "The most important part is that you're enjoying yourself!"

Bored with the gnome arguing, Heidla masked her yawn and smiled politely: "Will be back soon!" There weren't many people she knew, but she was looking for a certain plague-doctor mask she was promised. If Calder was around, she would feel less lonely. Or possibly she would meet his friends, too? And they would be same nice creatures that made her believe in Halloween? She smiled inwardly. Sometimes she was getting too tired with her kin: they were all so self-centred and obsessed with their own vision of the world! Shouldn't she give the world of Halloween a chance? xoxomenai I will walk around the room for a while and then come back, or just quote me if you want to RP more - the room shouldn't be too big, lol

Still trying to brush off the glitter, Tseng looked around, trying to see how he might be able to get it to stop. Well. It might make some things more flashy, but it was just on his hand and arm. That wasn't really useful in that regard. As a result, he wandered away from the mermaid and her friends to go on this quest to get rid of this strange thing. Oh! Over there! There was a girl sparkling! Much more than he was too. Quickly, the horseman of Conquest zoomed on over before practically leaping towards her and the one she was speaking with. "You!" he called out. Oh! It was Lizzy. He remembered this girl from alpaca wrangling. "I am in dire need of your assistance as you seem to be plagued with the same... curse" he said before dramatically extending his arm out to show the glitter. "I am unable to get it off! Please! I must ask you of this favor! Er. That is. If you aren't too busy with this lady."

Yin felt slightly bad at just how happy Alexander looked with him agreeing to do this one thing. Still, it was a somewhat hard thing to agree to do, and he still was not certain if he was making a big mistake or not. But his bonded probably would not be this excited if things were going to end horribly. He tried to take comfort in that and offered him a tentative smile of his own. But Alexander was looking around now, and he let his gaze follow his, first to one pair and then another, realization dawning on him even as Alexander moved him closer, and there was a bit of pressure on his hip. He tensed, but he had seen for himself that this was what others were doing. This was expected. He swallowed nervously and tried to remind himself that it was like training, that people touched all the time in training. The costumes, music, and the fact that Alexander was not actively trying to harm him all argued with that train of thought, but he tried. What did follow his lead even mean? And the instant Alexander told him not to look at his feet it was as if he was compelled to do so, and he had to actively work not to stare downwards. Instead he forced his gaze upwards, trying his best to pick up on the small cues as to where to go next. He actually found that bit fairly easy, which his feet would have appreciated if they had only known. That part was not that unlike training, and really, despite it being slightly awkward it was not nearly as bad as he had feared. His one hand was still clasped in Alexander's, and tentatively he mimicked someone else and moved his hand up to his boilfriend's shoulder. "Is this correct?" he asked, hoping that it was. And possibly that the question would distract him from the thought of everyone else around them. Dancing verged on being highly questionable.

Something offensively shiny, bejeweled, studded, and leopard print kicked the doors to the ballroom open with a slam. It had teased hair. Lace up leather pants. Straps across its chest, covered in a fine layer of fishnet. A collar at its throat glinted with garnets the size of a thumb. One hooped feather earring dangled casually from its ear. A mask covered its face, complete with pink-enamelled kissable full lips. Somewhere behind the mask, a voice issued, surprisingly clear. "Party on, dweebs."

The skinwalker couldn't help but chuckle a little as she mentioned his hair, absentmindedly reaching up to touch the braid idly. His grin, however, wavered a little as her fingers reached to touch the scars trailing down his jaw, fighting the urge to recoil a little when her face froze in what seemed, to him, to be a horrified expression. Almost immediately his hand snapped up to grab hers, and he forced another smile, the laugh he had hoped sounded light sounding more rough and mirthless.
"Fine, yeah. Those're old," he started, dismissing them easily. He would tell her later, when they weren't in a beautifully decorated hall surrounded by a hundred dancing students in masks.
"Oh, Itty Bitty, let me introduce you to Nergui."
Turning in place, the skinwalker smiled as he looked between the two girls. "Nergui, I'd like you to meet my little sister, Amrita. Amrita, this is the lovely Nergui -- she has done a wonderful job keeping me company~"Sorry it's short guys -- not feeling all that hot tonight @___@

Still wearing her Sherlock cape and hat, Freya was sneaking around the dancing couples, sniffing around for clues. Was that person covered in blood? Oh, no, they were always covered in blood. Did that person have a knife?! Oh no wait.. that was just their hands.
She huffed in exasperation just as she'd found Nuk, and was inspecting his tattoos with a magnifying glass, despite the fact he was speaking with other people - this was more important! People were DYING HERE!!1 - when she saw him.
Freya straightened up and let out a long, exaggerated sigh as she stared at Johnny Danger. Her hands were clasped in front of her, and she was pretty sure she was floating a few inches in the air. But as soon as she realized what she was doing, her wings clamped down and she dropped down to the ground, looking from side to side surreptitiously.
"Nobody saws that." She hissed out to no one in particular.

Some guy had approached Lysippe earlier that day about goin to prom with a Mr. "JD." She didn't know much about this town's custom or practices but she was willing to learn. She was informed that the prom was a kind of dance. The only ones she knew of was her war chants. Was there going to be a fight later? That sounded fun! Lysippe was given the ceremonial prom clothes and taught the dance of the Halloween people. It had a lot more hip movement than she was used to. ~~~~~~~~ Now she followed the Mr. JD into the great hall. There was loud 'music' and a lot of dancing. Lysippe trailed close behind the blue boil in the tight pants and waited for her turn to start. This was exciting!JD handed her some flowers. "Thanks?" she replied. This didn't seem like a useful weapon to her.

After heading back into the dance, Danny had danced with more random strangers until she found Taima in the crowd, her pretty blue-and-yellow wings reflecting the prom light quite nicely.
"TAIMA," Danny squealed through the crowd, jumping on the thunderbird's back in between her wings, to create a strange sort of backwards hug. "HOW DO YOU LIKE AMITYVILLE?"
She let go and walked around Taima's wings so that she was actually face to face with the ghoul. Gosh her prom dress was really pretty too! It went so nicely with her tattoos (Danny was still convinced they were tattoos, okay).
Then she noticed the guy coughing up blood over there. "Wowzers. You don't look so good buddy," she said. If one thing was for sure, it was that Danny wasn't becoming a doctor when she grew up.

Scanning the crowd, he noticed a certain pair of wings that- oh. Nope nope nope nope Herryk was scary nope.
His hand gripped his date's behind a little too tightly.

Lysippe was startled by the tight squeeze to her toosh. But he did say it was the a normal greeting. Lysippe grabbed are large meaty handfull of JD's rump and gripped it like a vice. "And good luck to you too!"

(( The roll is for Needle! )) "...Shopping...Proper maul trip? There is an improper way to go to the maul?" Needle sounded understandably confused. She knew little about the maul other than sensory overload, but it might be fun to learn the proper way to maul from the owl himself. "All right, I will agree to those terms." She turned to the food, clearing her throat.
"Shall we begin, then? In three...two...one!" Needle started the countdown, and after hitting one she started eating, eager to try and beat him.The Horseman, who was certainly not dying, struggled to control his coughing in favour of not startling the young woman any longer. Slowly he was coming around, his thin frame relaxing as the intensity lessened. He had let go of her wrist as she hopped, going back to gripping the table for the time being. As the pair argued on about his health, one who knew better and the other who was just concerned for him, Sal was recovering on his own.
"I'm...I'm fine." He managed to get out to everyone involved, his voice hoarse. It was almost embarrassing to have yet another person show up to comment on his, ah, affliction, but it couldn't be helped. Suddenly, he needed liquid. Anything. Without getting up just yet his hand pat down the table, trying to find the cup of punch the ghoul had been kind enough to get him earlier. "D-drink." It was a deep command, not a request; his search for his own cup had turned up fruitless, and he wasn't about to stand or lift his head for the moment."I have no idea what she sees in me." Mac admitted with a laugh, shaking his head. "I swear, I put that ghoul through hell and back and she still loves me." He didn't mean for it to sound like a boast, but it may have ended up as one. There was something special about that ghoul, and he really didn't know how to thank her or pay her back for all the kindness she'd shown him. "And I love her, too. More than I can express." His voice dropped fondly, the ghost of a smile on his lips.
"So I think I'd like to try to get on better terms with you. I don't think I'll ever like you, but...I'll try. Not promising anything, though." Junko didn't have to like him, he didn't have to like her, but if they could be on less angry terms that might be beneficial for all. Mostly, Lizzy. "Would you like to go do something with me sometime? Maybe we can duke it out to get over old hurts." He suggested, only half-joking. For a moment he was distracted though, watching someone familiar go about and do, well, stupid things.
"I did." Mac informed Freya, resisting the urge to do the same. In spirit.
