They usually come out when they're ready. If everything is set for a Monday, then sure.
I'm sure that "Yeah, weekend, use the game" is a factor, as is releasing October/November and June/July, so that summer and Christmas get a nice runway to get word of mouth spread.
But I'm sure it could come out on a Monday.

Eh, don't be jerk, I believe in karma, so hey. Acting like a jerk to the people working in a store who have no hand in what they can and cannot do is rude. If so, I hope that the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits. I've worked retail, so I know what it's like to having to shut the ******** up and getting a shitstorm over you.
