"Well, anyway....Let's go check on Tails and Sonic!" Rouge flapped her wings and took flight, soaring into the city.
"Try and keep up, Icicle." Shadow sped off.

Justin nodded, making an ice slide and following the others. He was eager to see if Tails and Sonic were doing okay.

Rouge knocked on the door of Tails' apartment. "Hello? Sonic, you there?"
Sonic opened the door. He grinned. "Oh, hey! Vergil gone?"

Justin nodded with a smile. "Yup. Hey, how's Tails doing?" He asked.

"His mom freaked, and immediately took care of him. He's doing good now. He can say more then one word, anyway. Oh, and don't worry about his mom thanking me over and over for saving him. She already did that before you got here." Sonic grinned. He walked back inside, to the living room. Rouge and shadow followed. Tails was laying on the couch, his eyes closed, a blanket over him, a pillow under his head. He looked peaceful.
"Awh...." Rouge smiled slightly. "He's so cute when he's asleep."
"Mmmmmm...." Tails slowly opened his eyes, blinking. "Sonic....?"
Sonic went over to Tails, kneeling next to the couch. "Hey buddy, how 'ya doing?"
"Tired." Tails said, squinting his eyes as if the light was bright. "Was that Rouge?"

Tails managed to sit up. The blanket fell onto his lap, revealing the large hole through his chest was covered by a bloody bandage. "Thanks...So Vergil's dead?" He asked, looking a t them.

Justin shook his head. "To be honest, he vanished. I got no clue where he went." He told Tails.

Tails smiled slightly. "Well, at least you beat him." He tried to get up.
"Woah woah Tails." Sonic gently pushed him back down. "Don't go pulling a Knux. You aren't well enough yet."
"You're as bad as my mom." Tails chuckled weakly.

"Fine." Tails sighed, "But resting is so boring."
"Doesn't have to be." Sonic reached into his pocket, pulling out a DS Lite. He handed it to Tails. "And it's got a Metroid game in the slot where you put Gameboy games." He said, grinning.
"Thanks Sonic!" Tails beamed.
"Hey, least I could do for trashing your workshop like I did."

Justin smiled at Sonic and Tails. "Get well soon, Tails." He said kindly. He then walked over to the window, thinking about something. He knew Dante beat Vergil, but what ELSE happened when the young ice demon was knocked out?

Justin looked at Rouge. "Well, I Know Vergil's gone, but....I'm a bit curious. Did anything else happen when I was out cold?" He asked her.

"Dante took over the fight and grabbed both the amulets from him, Vergil said he'd see you in hell, then vanished....I don't think much happened." She said, looking at him.
