Technically the specimen from whom Match was cloned was a failed prior iteration of the project. No one ever seems to get it. >_< Let me construct a chart.
Superman > Superboy > clone1 > clone2 > clone3 > clone4 > Match
So that means Superboy is Match's great-great-great grandfather, and Superman is Match's great-great-great-great grandfather.

Funny how the guy that's like 3 days old is more comfortable around girls. XP
It might have something to do with him being all naked around them within the first hour of his release. He probably just figures "Whatever, man". No one was complaining. XP At least, not too loudly. Anyway.
Hey, I had this idea I wanted to run by you guys. I'll have to test it on you since Dark's not around much for me to ask what Cass would think. So I have to ask you guys what you think Cass would think. xp Anyway, somewhere down the line I figure Match will want to prove himself to Cass, to himself, and to the whole team. So (if he knows about it by then) he'll get a blue kryptonite ring to wear during training.
Since, I think blue kryptonite renders Kryptonians effectively mortal in our continuity? Going by Smallville, if I recall right. Anyway, he'd wear that during training so he could train just like a normal person. Learn combat and get smacked around by Cass a little.

@Stray: I personally think that if she found out she'd take grave offense. Not just from that female view, but just from that disrespectful view of a handicap in general. She might actually go all out just to punish you........who brought the popcorn? Do it. *munches popcorn* xd

How would he get it? Red kryptonite is rare enough, they've only seen two examples of blue meteor rock and both disintegrated 3. As I recall Red Robin was thinking of Superboy's unique 'moves' when he fought Lynx so maybe you're better off just making it up anyway. That's why he said 'if he knows about it by then'. He'll have to learn about it, maybe from Kara, I dunno. And he'll have to find it.
I don't remember that bit, with RR using Superboy's moves. What's up with that?

That was my example of why it's better to learn things on your own, if a martial arts master like Red Robin could find a use for your made up tricks, then you must've done something right, ne? wink

Very true, TL.
Hmmm... I guess I can see that. Maybe I'm just torn in deciding just what Match wants to be. He'll want to be respected as an equal beyond just his powers. But it's also good to accept who and what he is and make the most of it.
Maybe he can't be viewed in the same way as Batgirl and Robin. They're badass without powers. He has the powers though, so maybe it's more about being the best of himself - pushing his limits as much as they push theirs.
