    Meanwhile...
Peeking through the tree's a distance behind everyone, Athena nervously took a step out, ever since Carmen's first visit to the island and the things that took place during that time, Athena had felt endlessly terrible. It was like a knife was stuck in her heart, slowly killing her! She was not one to handle guilt well, it was possibly one of the worst feelings aside from loss of someone dear. Everything that took place had really been a huge disaster on Athena's part, she tended to over react when it came to dangerous situations, or any kind of a threat. Possibly because she felt she always had to be prepared for anything, and fight her hardest to survive, despite how much she despised fighting in the first place. But when it came to wanting to protect or help someone, she did all she could. But this time, none of it was right. She didn't even fully understand WHY Carmen did what she did, which made Athena's actions uncalled for! The new and mysterious power she managed to generate at the time was far to much, and all she meant to do was make her leave them alone! Yet it seemed like she actually hurt her, somehow. Her magical arrow was only supposed to explode near her, and knock her back away, not hurt her, not cause pain.....and so, since then, Athena distanced herself into sulking quietly away from everyone.
..But her presence returned to the island, and Athena had moved quicker then she ever moved in her life. No matter what she was doing, she had to apologize to her, she had to make things right again, or else her heart would burst! "C-Carmen..." Athena tried to call out, the mix of guilt and nervousness in her voice making it almost to difficult to hear from the small distance, she wasn't exactly yelling, and her soft spoken voice didn't help. She began to make her way towards her, finally coming upon the sandy beach...only to stop a few feet away from her and Miya, who she didn't seem to register, or maybe she didn't care to right now. Her focus was on Carmen alone. "I'm so sorry.." She finally said. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I'm sorry!! " She couldn't say it enough. "I don't know what happened...I never meant to hurt you..I've felt so terrible since then...I can't bare it....I'm..so...sorry!! "

Carmen "Well, as much as I don't want you to need to fight, if you want to learn, you could always just ask. I'm the best person to learn from, you know! Or have I not convinced you yet?" Her many victories against some of the strongest people in the world did kinda speak for themselves! "I'd train you. I don't intend to ever let you get into a situation where you need the skills, but better safe than sorry." She certainly wasn't going to make her little sister learn or do anything she didn't want to for the most part--that's why she worked so much during their youth. But when Miya showed interest in something, Carmen would typically take the idea and run with it for as long as she wanted! "Ahaha... you know, when you're cheering me on, I could take on anyone. Just having you around makes me so much more confident and determined, my dear little sister!" She gave her a few more pats on the head for good measure. Almost everything Carmen had accomplished, she did owe to Miya to some extent, because she was the reason she was so driven and determined. While she had a lot of natural talent and intelligence, she wouldn't use it nearly as much if not for her. Now if only she had any amount of natural charisma or social skills, she might have any friends aside from her sister!
As Athena's voice caught her attention, Athena would be treated to a bright smile. "Athena! I was just hoping you'd show up!" She said cheerfully, walking over to her and starting to pat her on the head next! "You're so adorable, seeing you and Miya in the same place again is like a dream!" She blinked, her hand stopping as Athena started apologizing. For... something? It wasn't until she started apologizing that Carmen even realized she was upset. She had very bad social skills! "Uh??" Carmen blinked, suddenly feeling as though she had done something terribly wrong. "Sh-should I not have patted you on the head? What did I do?!?" Honestly, every time she saw Athena it seemed to end in some kind of problem or misunderstanding! "What are you even talking about?! ...Oh! Athena, are you still thinking about that?" Carmen couldn't help but chuckle a bit, before patting her on the head again, more gently. "Come now, I would never be upset with you. And besides, you didn't really hurt me. Do you realize how many strong people I've fought? A pesky little arrow isn't nearly enough. Really, I was more impressed than anything! You showed some serious power! Now, come here." She put her arms around her, pulling her into a probably uncomfortable hug that she really didn't have any choice in. "Go on then, cry as much as you like. But just know I'll never be angry with you. I would almost say you're like a little sister to me, if you weren't so frustratingly attractive! Hahaha... honestly though, why are you hotter than me already..." Alisa became hotter than her almost immediately, and her little sister had already passed her too. It was rather irritating in a way!Ephraim predictably stiffened uncomfortably at the touch of someone other than his wife or his sister. Would he ever get over that, and become more comfortable with casual touch? ...Almost certainly not. "You didn't "leave them" like anything. We all left to investigate Marvel, and by the time we were going to return, Shinra had already taken over. None of you should feel guilty over that." He grimaced slightly, patting her gently on the shoulder, as if gently trying to get her to stop hugging him! Poor awkward Ephraim. "...Though truly, I did very little. Cissnei was the one who formulated the plan and directed me. You should save your thanks for her." Perhaps he was being a bit modest about his role, but most of the credit certainly belonged to her. "Shinra had the people in a locked down state. Cissnei referred to it as marshal law, if that gives you any indication. From what little I saw, and from what the annoying Serenitian said, it seemed many were living in fear, and Shinra would abduct people without warning. I fear these abductions may have ended up as the Neo SOLDIERs the president is controlling like drones..." From what he had heard about Jenova along with seeing she was part of Rufus, and what Cissnei had told him, it seemed logical that many of Shinra's current "employees" were not exactly willing. They may have been mindless husks, better off dead. "...Just remember, with the bombs there, there was little we could've done without threatening the safety of the civilians. As difficult as it may be to think some may have been killed or worse, if we had acted rashly, all may have very well ended up killed. And the bombs were not an empty threat--I promise you that. I saw them on the plate myself. It was thanks to Cissnei being able to disarm them that Shinra was forced to retreat." (( OOC: ))

   "Ah,ha! I knew you would say that..but, if this world has shown me anything, it's to definitely learn how to fight, or the very least, how to defend one self! " She was pretty good at defending herself so far. But as for a real battle, she hadn't quite experienced a real one yet. "Mmhm! Of course you are..If only I could train with someone I hated, though...At least then I wouldn't feel bad if I accidentally hurt them! " The likelihood of her ever actually getting close to hurting Carmen during any kind of training was probably slimmer then ever. Stll, she worried about her sister too, and especially didn't want to cause her any harm. "I love how much you care about me, I really, really do! But you know, i'm not so little anymore. I can handle myself pretty well. Look how long I managed to avoid ShinRa and that Aisha girl? In fact...I saved some girl from her! She was trying to bring her to the big terror building, and I--well, I stole a few of their toys, a few smoke bombs later, and I had her choking to death, all the while getting the girl away from her and back to her family! " She was pretty proud of herself, it was the first time she ever really saved anyone!
As she spoke again, Miya smiled, her tail noticeably doing a happy little swish at the praise and little pats on her head. "Hee,he! You can just take me with you and erase all the evil meanies in the world all on your own! " Wouldn't that be something. Selene, Jenova, Hojo, all the evils' gone by Carmen all due to her adorable little sister's cheering her on!
Miya and Carmen's sisterly moment would unfortunately come to a stop when Athena made her appearance, not that she intended to ruin their little moment, just..she had to clear this up right now or she might actually drown herself in regret and guilt! She was a very emotional one, one had to wonder if it was a curse or gift? Her overly sensitive emotions certainly made her who she was, she was a gentle soul in every way! Unfortunately, right now, it would cause for a bit of awkwardness and misunderstandings! She barely even noticed her hand as it so obviously began to pat her right there on the head! She was SO stressed out, not even able to tell her head was so cutely being pat! It definitely took a little longer then it should have, for Athena to realize this the moment her hand actually stopped patting her. And that's when the confusion hit poor Carmen.. "...It's not that...! No! You didn't bother me..." She tried to clarify. Her head raised a bit, looking at her fully now, after her eyes were so shamefully looking down for those few moments. "....Do you really mean that? ..but..you looked so sad....as you were about to leave, I felt a strong sense of sadness from you..Was I wrong? ....Did I misunderstand? " She really didn't think she misunderstood, but who knew? She was upset at the time too! "..You were truly not hurt? " That intense guilt she was carrying since then, was starting to come down a bit. "....T-Thank goodness...I thought for sure I hurt you! " In her defense, that new power was still unknown to what it could do, of course she didn't know what it's affects had on her. It could have been bad! "Ah! " She let out in surprise, the sudden hug she was hardly expecting came as a bit of a surprise! But a welcomed one, a very welcomed one! She was already starting to cheer up, and maybe even to Carmen's own surprise, she would feel Athena returning the oh-so-terrible hug! "..I'm so glad you are not angry with me! And that you are okay..You have no idea how worried I was! " She may of been on the verge of misty eyes moments ago, but no tears fell, and if they did ,they would just be happy ones. Still, nothing but a smile returned to the emotional, silly princess's face. ...until her last compliments reached her ears! Now, her smiling face was becoming a soft shade of pink to her cheeks. "..You think I'm attractive?--- I --I mean! I-Its not a competition! You are so very attractive too,Carmen! I always thought so! " "..Well, um,, ahem! I'm going to let you two lovers talk this out for a while, hee,hee..." She winked playfully at her sister, before slipping herself away. "I want to see this island a little more! " Turning away quickly, she left the two to, well, talk through this little moment, she would ask questions later, though! She was far to curious not to. For now, she would walk over to the water and carefully remove her shoes before beginning to walk some into the water. From crummy Midgar, to this beautiful clean clear blue water..it was so amazing she couldn't wait to get into the water, swim suit or not, she was going to swim!!
Aerith blinked in surprise, it wasn't easy to miss how tense the poor guy became with just her little, friendly hug. "Oh?....Do you not get handled often in battle? You are to tense, silly..It's me! " Like that should make him feel any better about her hugging him! As she let him go, Aerith quickly dismissed the matter with a small smile and wave of her hand. She didn't really want to make him uncomfortable, so the least she could do was let him know they would no longer talk about it! "Mm, I can't help but feel responsible in some way..Midgar is my home, and the people there...are very dear to me. I want to protect them, just as much as everyone else does! " There may of been some goons , but what city didn't have them? Most the time, the citizens stuck up for her, she was very loved by almost everyone in the past.. and that probably didn't change even now. As Tifa and Aerith listened to him explain further, Aerith nodded softly. It sounded terrible! Ephraim and Cissnei's rescue only made her more appreciative to their help, greatful to no end. "That's terrible..do you think we may be able to find these Neo SOLDIERs? ..I feel like we should go to Junon..if they are under Shinra's control, they are victims we need to help.."

Orpheus A faint crackling of electricity began to subtly gather nearby the group as they conversed, a small prelude to what came next. Wind began to pick up, encircling the crackling lightning as it grew--the noise almost as attention grabbing as the power that gathered with it. And finally, a purple lightning bolt struck the earth in the middle of the building storm--and it all split, dissipating and leaving behind the form of a crouched young woman. Holding a sheathed katana in her hand, she raised her head, her piercing purple eyes scanning those gathered. Slowly, she stood--her imposing countenance almost as intimidating as the absolute power radiating around her form."Whoa, when did I get a twin?" Shez muttered out loud, feeling like she had well and truly met her doppelganger."A... an Exemplar!" Alisa shot up to her feet, her eyes wide. "M-miss Exemplar, can we help you with anything?!""What is an Exemplar?" Ephraim asked, his stance easing--he had almost expected this to be Selene, or one of her daughters with all the power gathered around her."...Stand up straight!" Carmen responded crossly to Ephraim, as if his posture was unbecoming of someone in the presence of her. "An Exemplar is a rank of knight far above Knight-Commander, the highest typical ranking. The Exemplar Codices were penned by the God of Wisdom, Nero himself--and they contain over one-hundred thousand pages. To become an Exemplar is-""To embody these codices." The unfamiliar young woman finished. "To become an agent of justice in its purest form, and to devote one's life to absolute justice. Fifteen years must be spent training in harsh conditions. One year training under each of the Great Rulers. Ten years training under the Goddess of War, Cosmos. The code is my sword, and my sword is sharpened under their direction.""Exemplars are exceedingly rare... less than ten have survived the grueling tests. They command respect not only from the common folk of Serenity, but even its royalty and High Serenitians. That's why our esteemed High Princess looks so terrified.""...At ease, Princess Alisa.""Yes, ma'am! Exemplar, ma'am!" Alisa said, saluting while mildly trembling, and looking anything except at ease."They answer only to the gods of Serenity. It's shocking to see an Exemplar who was training in our lifetime... I remember when she lived in the Forest Kingdom for a year. Orpheus... Hard to forget. To see an Exemplar in training would be, in human years, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.""Oh! I remember you too! Mother was even harsher on you than...""...Well, thanks for the exposition. Are you here to help us against Selene, then?""No." Orpheus responded directly. "I'm here to fulfill a promise I made fifteen years ago."The mighty flapping of draconic wings preceded the arrival of another, as Eskallion slammed down onto the island, kicking up sand all around his arrival. His draconic wings receded into his back as he stepped forward. "Metatron." He said. "Fifteen years ago, you left me as Orpheus, a young knight set upon a reckless and nearly impossible task. Now you arrive as Metatron, an Exemplar in the flesh.""There you are," Orpheus turned, her hand going to her blade's handle. "King Eskallion. When I left you, I was too weak to be Princess Unisha's sole protector. I come to you, now, as Exemplar Metatron--I challenge you to single combat. If I defeat you, and she consents, I will swear myself into her service, and I will protect Princess Unisha until my dying breath if the code allows it. Do you accept these terms?"Eskallion crossed his arms, sighing. "You're so uptight, you know that? So serious! What if I just tell you it's her choice now?""No. I will defeat you." She remained just as severe in the face of his lax response. "I've dedicated more than half my life to this goal. If you expect me not to take it seriously--if you expect me to accept a walk-off victory right at the end, you'll be sorely disappointed.""Yeah, think I'm gonna end up sore either way." He cracked his neck, stretching. "Very well--I accept your challenge, Exemplar Metatron. Let the young princess you're fighting for serve as witness to our duel, if it pleases you.""Nothing would please me more." She glanced over--towards the young woman who looked so very different after so many years. How much they had both grown in these last fifteen years... "Watch me, Princess Unisha. I've fought, I've struggled, I've toiled these last fifteen years--all for you. Witness the result of my training." (( OOC: ))

All those gathered most certainly would be drawn to look in the direction of the alarming source of electricity suddenly gathering, with all their endless enemies and the Reapers free to terrorize, any source of magical energy would likely be concerning. But there was something familiar about the presence she was feeling, and it wouldn't really hit her until the form of a young woman would appear out of the electrical storm..
She took a step forward, practically shoving the poor, innocent little hermit crab she was playing with into Azura's hands! "It can't be...!" She was very young at the time, but that didn't mean she had forgotten about the one she spent just about every second of the day with as a child. She wasn't just her retainer back then, but someone she thought was very dear to her, a best friend, much like Alisa was.It wasn't until that terrible day everything changed, and shortly after Orpheus had disappeared. She was never given the full truth of where exactly she went, to spare her young age the worry and possible anger towards her father for allowing it! It wasn't until later in life, during her teenage years that she would learn about the truth, and although she was upset to know the terrible situations she would have gone through, the hardships she would face alone in her training, she tried to understand her reasoning behind it, and always hoped and prayed nightly that she would see her again! And now.....so many long years later, there she was...It was almost as though Unisha had fallen into a trance, she was completely shocked and in disbelief. What if it was some kind of trick? It would be the most horrible one anyone could pull... But then there was her presence, no one, not even a Reaper could mimic someone's own presence. It was definitely her! Yuffie would be the victim of a slight whirlwind, when Unisha ran right past her, practically knocking into her shoulder along the way, creating a spin-cycle for the poor ninja, who spun right around several times until falling flat on her face right there in the sand! Did she get an apology? ..Of course not. Unisha was very different from Alisa, and most of those who seemed either terrified, tense, or completely respectful towards Orpheus, disregarding those 'rules', the princess leapt up with her arms around her neck, hugging her tightly! She was an Exemplar, surly she could handle Unisha's possibly overly tight hug! So..many..years...She wasn't about to just greet her with a simple hello. Gods no. If she could have, she would of hugged her longer even! It was due to the arrival of another, that she would have to release her."I missed you so much! Not a day has gone by that I didn't think of you, Orpheus...I missed you!!! I prayed for your safety every day.....with only a dream that I would see you again...and now you're here...I..I can't believe it!! " Before Eskallion returned to his human form, he would have to wait until Unisha threw her arms around her AGAIN! Okay, so she might have trouble prying herself away..
But eventually, it would become obvious she had to release her again, so that she and her father could speak. There was no denying, it made her quite nervous seeing them both here. After learning about her mission, she knew what was likely to come next. Orpheus and her father would have to fight. It was the only way for her to move forward, wasn't it? She smiled at her, the emotions going through her right now were at a all time high. Just those last words alone gave a strange sense of excitement, everything she did, for her? ...In a way, it was also a little sad, she suffered greatly all those years, but she did it with the best intentions. And the result was about to be made when she defeated Eskallion in their soon to be duel.."Don't you dare lose.." She whispered to her, a playfulness in her voice, yet seriousness too! She would not let her leave this time, if she did in fact lose, though if she was to judge the intense power she felt coming off her, she knew right away, she wouldn't lose.. "..Please be careful, both of you...Don't hurt each other to much! " Was that even possible? Obviously she didn't want anything serious happening to her or her father!
"...It's so romantic..i'm so jealous.." Tifa whispered quietly to Aerith, who nodded in response. Almost every other girl found their selves agreeing, all kind of just lost in the romantic aspect of it all. To have someone go to such lengths for another, it was pretty incredible! "She looks so cool, too! " Lilith said next, these girls were in trance land, it seemed.

OrpheusNot only did Unisha not knock the Exemplar over with her enthusiastic hug, she quite literally did not budge, remaining firmly rooted in place. "Princess Unisha..." She reacted softly. This was why she had done so much--this is what all her years of turmoil had been for. This woman, who she hadn't seen in so very long. This woman who was with her now. And she would never stop fighting to ensure she stayed at her side. "We've both changed so much. You were my closest friend--and now you've become a woman, so many years later." She reached up a hand, gently stroking her face, almost in disbelief to be here with her again. "And you've grown so beautiful." A simple observation, yet uttered in such a way that might melt even the coldest hearts. "It's only fitting that the most wonderful girl would become the most beautiful woman." They were both young girls when last they met, and after so many years apart, so much had inevitably changed. But her dedication to the princess would never change.
And she would prove that now. After so long, she had earned the right to prove it. "As you say, Princess." She responded, turning her attention fully to Eskallion now. "Fight me the same way you did before, but now with no time limit. This duel ends one of two ways: your defeat, or my death." Her hand slowly moved to clutch the handle of her long blade, lowering her stance. "Last time we dueled, it was all I could manage to simply not lose to you. A desperate struggle to try to keep up, to not fail. Now..." Her eyes closed. The sound of a small implosion sounded around her, then another, and another--all the while her power was skyrocketing. The absurd power that radiated her before was starting to be shown to be simply her base power--not even close to all of it as her power shot up like a bullet."So be it!" Summoning his blade in a burst of flames, Eskallion's power surged as well as his wings extended from his back, carrying him over the ground at impressive speed to drive the blade into her with incredible ferocity.A moment before he reached her, her eyes opened. If anyone watching so much as blinked, they would have a hard time piecing together what happened. Yet even those who didn't would have a hard time deciphering the A to B, as in under a second, she went from that crouched stance to standing up straight, her back facing the dragon king. Likewise, his blade was in his hand one moment, then removed the next--and it would take searching to realize it was now lodged in a nearby tree. Her blade was also drawn--and soon, she was returning it slowly to its sheath--and once it clicked closed, several explosions of violent lightning riddled Eskallion's body, and the king dropped to his back like a sack of potatoes. As painful as it appeared--and certainly, it wasn't pleasant--it wasn't close to lethal. Orpheus turned he r head in such a way that the wind caught her hair, causing it to blow in the breeze as she turned her steely gaze upon the spectators for a moment, and those paired with that ludicrous display of absolute power, well, it was certain to cause more than few girls' hearts to skip!"...Oh!""...Ahh...!""W...wow!" It was like a lovestruck arrow into the heart of nearly every girl there, and Alisa, Carmen, and Shez were no exception, as their faces all fell into a deep blush! If anyone had been paying attention to Alisa and Shez, it might show on them beyond just their red faces. But it was unlikely anyone wasn't paying attention to Orpheus..."With all due respect, Your Majesty--" Orpheus planted her boot upon his chest, a decisive show of victory. "Princess Unisha is no longer your responsibility. Now... she is mine." That could probably be taken in multiple ways... but she had certainly proven it true, hadn't she?"...Ugh... I dunno what stings more, the attack, or that I know you were seriously holding back..." THIS was the power of an Exemplar. She had just taken down one of Serenity's Great Rulers in a single moment. Was it any wonder why Alisa and so many others were intimidated by them? "Unisha is yours... it brings me joy to know she has such a capable guardian... now... I think I'll just nap for a while..." His body relaxed beneath her, as he seemed to actually just lose consciousness! Though clearly, he wasn't in severe pain or anything. He was quite a fast healer regardless--where else would Phoenix have gotten it from?"...Maybe I overdid it..." She muttered to herself. She didn't intend to actually knock him out cold! But with this being the thing that drove her so much for fifteen long, agonizing years, could anyone blame her even if she did overdo it?(( OOC: ))

When Unisha released her from the intensity of the hug, her arms remained around her shoulders still, though much more gently, her deep blue eyes gazing into her own, she might come to realize exactly how Unisha was looking at her, that longing in her eyes was not that of just close friends, but lovingly. It was a wonder why someone so beautiful and loved was still single, sure she may of flirted a few times here and there with Shez, but she never went further then simple, playful flirting. It was almost as if she were waiting for someone........and that someone, was right here in front of her.
As Orpheus raised her hand, and gently stroked her face, the following words she spoke brought the most comforting, heart warming moment she would ever have experienced yet. She was so quickly getting lost in this moment she thought would never come. "It means so much to me, to hear you say that.." As if her opinion was all that mattered in the world! No other compliments by anyone else were real or mattered to her. "But you know, i'm not the only one.." She said with a soft smile. She was so very beautiful herself, there was no other way to describe it, as that was the truth! Incredible, amazing, beautiful, those word all suited the Exemplar before her! "You look so amazing.." But she figured she probably would like to hear amazing a little more. She had all the time in the world to learn what she liked, and disliked! Taking a step away, as much as she hated the idea, she would give her the room she needed now, as her challenge with her father would begin...
.........And it felt like, in the blink of her eye.she was right here, with an incredible, unbelievable power building up, just as Eskallion began to make his move. And in the next moment, Orpheus was standing proudly, sliding her katana right back into it's sheath, looking so amazing, even Unisha's face began to reach the shade of a deep red. Was it wrong to be so happy she defeated her father? And SO QUICKLY?! She had no words, it was all to amazing for her brain to process!
Watching the display she put on, even so much as putting her boot right up there to his chest to keep him down, and show her incredible victory, really stirred just about every girls emotions, but only Unisha could bask in her spoken words, Unisha...was hers! The beaming of her face, and clasped hands Unisha displayed were probably all the approval she really needed, consent to be hers? She really didn't need it. Clearly! "So amazing....she's so amazing! " Unisha thought to herself, not exactly trying to hide her thoughts.
"....Whoa...he went down like weak little fly! " Lily, also impressed, lightly kicked Eskallions shoulder, as if he were a form of royal trash.She was SO respectful! "He's not so tough for a big dragon! " She turned to look at the two, as was just about everyone gathered there, though mostly, their attention was very well set on Orpheus. "She's totally cool. I gotta get me a Exemplar when I grow up." As if it was the easiest thing to come by one so incredibly skilled!
It seemed to finally register to her, now, as she felt so many eyes on them, but this time, she knew they weren't on her, and rather Orpheus! But the two that caught her attention the most was the 'looks Alisa and...Shez?! ...Were giving..well, something she just learned today. "......One moment, please! " She said to Orpheus, turning to them with the most irritated eyes they might ever of seen from her. She raised her hand a little, and out of the sandy ground in front of them erupted a wall of vines, completely blocking their view from staring so inappropriately at HER Exemplar! Sure, they could just walk a few feet down to be out of the vine block there, but it was enough to drive the point to them. To Stop looking at Orpheus!

OrpheusThough she didn't visibly react much to Unisha's words, they dd perplex her. Did she look amazing? ...She didn't figure she did. Her skill was worthy of praise, but she hadn't been trying to look very good for the most part in the last 15 years. Aside from her time training under the Ocean Queen, who had a stipulation that she had to carefully look after her appearance. But that was over 10 years ago. A sudden surge of power ignited between both of them, binding Orpheus's soul to Unisha's in an Exemplar's Pact. A moment later, Orpheus stood, the magical glow surrounding her beginning to subside. "Apologies for the formality. My code dictates I must swear myself into your service, so that if you ever ask me to do something against my codes, I must prioritize your order. Until such a day comes as you no longer wish to see me, and the pact is broken, I am yours. Your retainer, your confidant, your servant--whatever you ask of me." And thus it was official, that Unisha was symbolically hers, and she was literally Unisha's, until such a time as Unisha chose to sever the pact. "I am obligated to inform you that if you ask me to do anything terribly unethical, I may be forced to kill you when the pact is severed. But I know better than to worry about that. I didn't dedicate my life to a woman who would ever knowingly hurt the weak for selfish gain." Basically, if she ordered her to kill innocent people for a selfish reason, she would be obligated to do so, but may enact justice upon her after the pact was severed. But that was unlikely, needless to say."An Exemplar's Pact... Goodness, this day is full of surprises. The last one was when Exemplar Sandalphon swore a pact to Queen Althesa to help her eradicate..." She noticed Alisa giving her a flat expression. "...What?!""You're such a ********' nerd.""This is important Serenitian history, you stupid pervert! This is something a High Princess should know!" It wasn't like they were terribly far away from the others, she COULD still hear Alisa's perverted little speech there. It was starting to make her appreciate Carmen's own sanity. "Can you please stop speaking out loud??? Did Queen Althesa never teach you respect, Alisa? Goodness! " She was so getting scolded now, and one had to wonder if she probably even liked that! She was such a pervert! "I agree with Carmen...In fact, Consider us friends, I'll be happy to have a friend that can get through a sentence without being turned on by something! " Why weren't she and Carmen friends in the first place? Unisha was always one to make instant friends, but she also didn't often see her, even in the rare times she and Alisa got to spend time together. Ether way, it worked out well, Carmen DID need more friends.
Meanwhile, after raising the wall of vines to block the view Alisa had of Orpheus, she turned right back to her, just as she lowered to her knee and began to pledge her loyalty and protection to her. This power that would gather around the two was certainly a new experience, a little exciting, even. She could feel the connection between them as the power would bind Orpheus's soul to hers, as the Exemplar's Pact was made. The first thing she did, was take hold of her both her hands into hers as she stood again. "Just as a said back then, you are very dear to me, you aren't a servant, or a slave bound to me. You are my friend, most importantly. " She could protect her, she could help her with things, but she most certainly would never think of her as some kind of servant. As she continued, it was no doubt the strangest thing to hear, as it was directed to her! It was so strange and unnecessary the only real response she could show was a soft laugh, as if it were the most ridiculous thing she ever heard! They really made her say this? To HER? ..Maybe they didn't know just who Orpheus was fighting so hard to protect? "They do make you say some strange things, don't they? I'm not quite Krul, and never intend to be.." If she was ever to meet who created this so called term of the pact, well! She would have to give them her own thoughts on it's extremely insulting ways! She wasn't angry at Orpheus, of course not, she wasn't even insulted by it coming from her, it was her obligation to tell her these things by someone else, and that was who she would have to blame! "That aside, Orpheus...You have been through so much, I can't even begin to imagine how hard it was for you, living in such a strict life style, all these years...but promise me, while you are with me..Will you try to have more fun? ..What I mean to say is..I want to see you happy, but I want you to be yourself, too..You are here now, away from that life, but if there is anything I can do for you, I want to be the one to see you smile..to bring you happiness.." Even if such an idea was impossible for her to see right now, she did hope she would find it in herself to enjoy the new life she would have, a happier life..
And...just like that...she realized something rather important. "..Oh...! Ah! Father! " Well, that was almost amusing! So lost in Orpheus-land, she had completely forgot about her defeated father there, laying on the ground unconscious. Kneeling down, she would place a hand over his own, as a golden light began to emit a gentle healing light..
"Ah! Ephraim! " That familiar voice called out, as both L'Arachel and Eirika walked out of the forested area. Nether of them seemed to notice the new arrival, as they made their way to the group. They seemed, if anyone actually paid attention what with their eyes on a certain someone, and L'Arachel to blind to notice when her focus was on Ephraim, that both ladies were a bit dirty! L'Arachel's white outft above all took on all the objects around her in the forest, even the soggy wet grass they were laying in! "Eirika and I went for a walk, we thought to enjoy the beauty of this island while we have the chance, we may of gotten a little lost along the way..Ah, how embarrassing.." It WAS a huge island, and by foot, it was almost endless, and even easier to get lost if one didn't know their way. "How much time has passed since we started? I feel as though much time has passed...why, i'm so tired, I can't walk another step! " Well, she COULD, she just didn't want to. And she made that clear when she settled down in the soft sand. "...Oh! ....Who is that? " She finally noticed, that dark purple hair was difficult to miss, aside from Shez's own! Oblivious to the two, they were so tired some time ago from having walked, climbed, and even.....slid, down hills, at some point they had to take a break, and at that point, they fell right to sleep. It was just far to embarrassing to admit to everyone there, how the two fell asleep after becoming so lost in the forest!

  Lilith was starting to feel............a little embarrassed. Many of the girls were back to their normal clothing and even some of the guys, which seemed a little strange to her, being on this beautiful island! The uncomfortable heat should of made them want to stay dressed for the water, like she did. But now, after standing with the group for so very long, she was really starting to feel the heat, enough to make her feel weaker. That sun really drained her energy. It also burnt a bit, it didn't take much to see her fair skin didn't pair well with such intense sunlight, so she went back to the little house on the beach to retrieve her sunblock lotion. Of course, she could only reach so much of her body to put it on, but her shoulders and back were pretty well exposed to the elements.
She glanced around for a moment, the closest of the girls was Shez, so naturally, she decided to ask for her help. "...Excuse me.." The shy, soft voice would come from behind Shez, and when she turned to face her, she would shyly hold the bottle of lotion towards her.. "...C-Can you please help me put this on my back? " Anyone would know it was a innocent request, no one could achieve that task alone!

CarmenShez's attention was taken away from her attractive apparent twin (of course any twin of her would be hot!) to the voice that called her attention. The icy princess that caught her attention certainly didn't have a body that anyone would describe in any terms related to cold. No, it would be quite the opposite. "Uh, whoa. You've got a great body." Shez said, about as blunt as a bludgeoning instrument. Whether or not Shez was actually being perverted or just making an observation as though it were totally normal. Knowing Shez's tiny brain, though..."Oh, for the love of- Princess Lilith, please, allow me and my darling companion to help you instead." Carmen said, grabbing Athena's hand and leading her towards her. "Do not ask this abhorrent pervert for help--she seems no better than Alisa when it comes to objectifying her own sex!""...I may have only recognized two or three of the words you just used, but I know when I'm being insulted." Shez said, her eyes narrowing. "You think I'm gonna stand here and take that? How about I teach you a lesson?" It seemed a battle over who would apply the lotion might be in order!...And about five seconds later, Shez collapsed backwards into the sand below, panting and completely unmoving--looking utterly destroyed. Putting her fists against her hips, Carmen peered down at her. "Hmm, what lesson was I meant to learn from that?" Heavy, defeated pants were her only answer. "Perhaps that you make a good doormat?" She said, taking Athena's hand once again and stepping on Shez's face to walk past her! "Must be one of Avalanche's weaker warriors..." She remarked to herself, oblivious that Shez was actually, in fact, one of their strongest. It was no wonder Alisa had never managed a single victory over this woman, was it? "Now, come! Many hands make light work, my dear Athena. We can continue our conversation, which Orpheus's arrival interrupted." She held out her hand with a rather beaming face, awaiting Lilith to hand her the lotion. She seemed so proud of herself for stopping her fantastic body from being touched all over by some pervert! And maybe even more so, SO giddy to actually help this potential new friend with something they needed! She'd be the most popular woman around at this rate! She had so many-- well, only Princess Unisha had really offered to be her friend, but she was making moves to gain even more friends!Crouching next to Shez's unmoving, dominated form on the ground, Alisa propped up her head with her hands. "First time, huh?" She asked in an understanding tone. "Getting dominated by that annoying shrimp has been my life for the last nineteen years. I feel your pain, sister." She nodded solemnly, her many utter defeats at Carmen's hands replaying in her mind."...Uhhg..." Shez felt like she was about to pass out, nearly knocked unconscious--in five seconds! "Should... team up..." She muttered, barely even managing the words in her exhausted defeated state!"I think that would just make it even more humiliating when we lose, because I don't think we would win even then..." Imagine that b***h's smug face when she destroyed both of them at once! It was bad enough when she just beat Alisa! "Though, maybe I can get her to fight Orpheus... Losing in front of everyone ought to take her down a peg or two. And there's no way she'd beat an Exemplar, heheh! ...Right...?" Why was she feeling somewhat nervous at the idea...? ...Still, with Carmen's pride, it shouldn't take too much prodding to get her to challenge her!(( OOC: ))

 Lilith was already so shy and nervous about even asking for the help, earning herself a huge compliment in the process would be a surprise, but also cause her that little red of her face to become a deeper shade. "O-oh...Thank you.." She smiled politely, of course, she didn't think of the possibilities that Shez here was actually trying to be perverted, it really didn't seem like it! She wanted to believe she was just being honest, which was always a nice thing to hear, even if she was so very shy!
Her attention would not stay very long on the purple-haired mercenary, though, as Carmen's voice caught her attention, and she noticed with her was Athena, well, at least they were all girls now? It was certainly more comfortable! "I think..maybe she was just being honest? I don't think she meant anything wrong.." She didn't know Shez well enough, of course, but if she was to judge her just by that moment of looking into her eyes the moment she spoke, she would have to say she didn't see any suspicious in those eyes! Maybe Carmen was the one misunderstanding her? "Alright..! Um, thank you..I---didn't think I would need so much help, but I appreciate your kindness.." She finally said, while she did ask Shez first, she also knew Athena and Lilith more so then Shez here, thus making her feel even more comfortable with the offer, though it was a little embarrassing, she would take the help. The quicker this was done, the quicker she could get into the water without the worry of burning up!
But it seemed, it wouldn't be exactly as quickly as she would of liked, with the little bits of distractions as Shez apparently decided she needed to challenge Carmen, only for her to collapse seconds later! If she was going for showing off her strength, well..........she failed. Badly! Athena seemed...a little to amused by it all. Only driving the shame of Shez's instant defeat further as she giggled softly. It wasn't just her, but a certain ninja that joined in the laughter. Yes, Yuffie was very amused! Here Shez was, looking so strong, physically strong, yet was put down within seconds by the shorter, fairly petite bodied cat-eared woman! That had to be pretty shaming! Of course, Athena would be the one to be careful NOT to step on Shez's face, and stepped past her as she was guided along to Lilith, who handed Carmen the bottle of lotion as they got near. Her smile seemed to grow at the beaming of Carmen's face, she didn't exactly understand why she seemed so happy, but it was cute! She really just liked to see people happy. "Perhaps we could...talk about that another time? " It seemed a bit embarrassing to talk about such things right here in front of Lilith! Not that anything was inappropriate, of course, but it was mostly a conversation for them both to have without so many ears around! "Actually, when you've finished putting the lotion on her, would you mind doing my back too? You should come swim, too! ....But you don't have a swim suit, do you? I thought it would be fun for all of us to go swim together! Miya too! " How fun would that be, all the girls together, exploring a little of the waters.
