Vincent

"Get the terminology correct at least loves. This is a ship, a very large ship at that. Vassili seems to have aquired a yatch." Vincent drifted away from the three girls as they munched and planned. His nymphs had finally gotten over their fear of Vassili being aboard and drifted out onto the deck, diligently keeping the vessel clean and spotless. Vincent was an absolute monarch aboard the ship.

"I can make wakes if I have to. I'd start with swimming, the bilge down below is pretty large, and she won't be able to drown." Vassili shot him a dark look.

"Oh that's right you hate water pretty boy."

Vassili

"That's right, I can't stand the stuff, but I have made due over the last few days, I thought the sea air would help her." Vassili had been leaning against the rail basking in the bright sun, his skin pearlescent in the brightness.

"If I remember, you can't stand Romania. Something like not enough water." Vassili glared at Vincent with his dark red eyes.

'Don't joke about her drowning, cause I will tear your head off. I can do it, after I drain the redhead dry.' Vassili smirked as Vincent fumed at the threat.

Aimee Lynne Cox

"Nonsense, Alex. We will teach you to surf, and you will have fun."

Aimee rolled her eyes. It surprised her sometimes how pushy Lilly could be. All in good fun, though, right?

"Sorry Vincent. I meant ship. Promise."

Aimee shot a dark look at Vassili when he mentioned her name. If she'd seen him fight, or even angry, she might've rethought her actions. She wasn't much frightened by Alexandria's pale-face demon.

"Dream on, red eyes."

She turned back to Alex, and grabbed her hand, pulling at her gently.

"Come on, sweetie; let's go teach you to swim. Let the demons have their pissing match."

Alexandria

Alex heard the two demons and looked over at the both as they made threats about the others human. She sighed and looked at Aimee and Lily as she walked with them.

"I don't know the exact beef that is going on with the two of them but I'm going to avoid getting involved" she said to them as she shook her head "As long as my life isn't trying to be killed" she said lightly.

Aimee just shrugged; it wasn't her place to tell Alex if she didn't know already. She hadn't even told Lilly. If she thought about it, Vincent had changed too much about her life; he'd made her keep secrets from the dearest person in the world to her. 'b*****d.' She flipped on the electric lights when they found their way down to the bilge. The stairs disappeared into fairly deep water.

"Huh. I've never actually been down here in any kind of a boat."

"Ship."

"Whatever."

Liana

She sat in an odd color chair in a small closed in room. Her eyes looked bored as her elbow rested on the arm of the chair and her cheek rested on her knuckles. The room was filled with electronics that never work and the witch made it to be a toture cause they are unable to be fixed. Even when Lia would first try as soon as it would start it would just crumble and break again.

With a sigh she lifted her hand and metal pieces began to float around, it was her only source of entertainment at all so she did that to amuse herself in her frustrating confinement.

Ivan Van Veen

Ivan puffed moodily on his cigarette, the long hem of his coat flowing out behind him in the wing as he made his way through the decaying Brighton Beach. Like most Slavs, Van's family had congregated there. His mother claimed it reminded her of the Black Sea; Van had long ago realized that it was another hell. Sure, this one was the more familiar one, but it was on par (at least of his memories) of the days behind the Iron Curtain. Days full of shortages of required goods, and people disappearing in the middle of the night, and laws that danced just this side of Thought Police policies. But such dark musings had no home in his cranium this "fine" Tuesday; he had business to attend to, a drop to make.

Van took a final drag on his cigarette before flicking it away from him, not bothering to grind out the flame first; nobody did around here. He ducked into a near-by shop, full of over priced odds and ends. Trinkets, mostly, but Van liked it in there. Musty, in an old fashioned way; it was a common drop point for him. A comforting place, conveniently in Neutral territory: a five block radius that served as Refuge. Not to be confused with the bullet-shredded, blood-painted No Man's Land, between every confirmed territory of Recognized Gangs. Van moved slowly between the crowded aisles, his eyes floating over the familiar items, noting and categorizing the new ones. The dark orbs stopped on an old fashioned pocket watch, sparkling like it was a new toy under the dim lighting of the small place. Without a second thought, Van slid it off the hook it was suspended on, an tucked it into one of the deep pockets in his coat.

Liana

Liana was still sitting there when suddenly she felt a heat surge through the watch warming up the room for a small second. Her whole room shifted and her chair slid as the watch was turned sideways. It went all the way across the room and hit the one wall. Apparently someone grabbed the watch not much gratitude was shown on her face at the moment as she knew someone grabbed her watch and was apparently taking her somewhere.

A low growl immited from her mouth "Easy with the watch, it's a priceless artifact not some kind of tinker toy" she said not knowing if he or she would be able to hear her voice on account of Lia didn't know where she was put at. Getting out of her chair she stood on the side of the wall and pushed her chair away from the wall before she brushed herself off "Humans" she muttered irritated.

Van paused and looked around him when he heard Liana's voice. He'd heard a great many female voices over the course of his nineteen years of life, but none sounded quite like this one, excluding the fact that no one (male or female) ever spoke to him like that. Ever. No, this one was unique. Small, and vaguely...mechanical sounding. Not to mention, it sounded close. Too close. If he didn't know that it was impossible, he would've said it'd originated in his own mind! Van might've smiled at the thought, if it wasn't a waste of a smile. Still, his hand dipped into the pocket and he slowly fingered the plain watch. It was sterling silver, but polished so well that it shone like it was new. Not wanting to be caught out in the store with his prize, Van ducked outside into the gloomy day, to find a new store in the neutral area to wait by.

Liana

She paused when she felt the heat of the human hand on the watch again. Liana looked around just seeing darkness around the walls and no form of any kind of light. Usually when a human touches the watch and holds it close to their face she gets a chance to see the one holding her artifact. Liana went close to the one wall to touch it, something needed to get this humans attention to pick her up and not just findle around with it.

Touching the wall softly her body pressed against it and she used her fire element to warm up the watch. If the human felt the watch get warm it might intrigue them more to want to hold her closer and maybe she can get them to put it on. "Pick me up" she said softly letting her voice sound more alluring now then her usual cold emotion. "Put the watch on" she added keeping her tone the same way hoping maybe to have some kind of affect, if it was male she might have a better chance of being able to be out of this watch.

Again, Van heard the voice, and again he looked around. Nothing and no one was paying a little bit of attention to him, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm slowly going crazy. I must've had bad lats night. That damn Vitaly always gives me bad food. He is yellow scum. Still, Van found himself carefully bringing the watch out of his pocket and examining it under the light outside. If anything, it looked worse under the sunlight. Now Van could see that the watch wasn't as bright as he thought it was, that it was dingy and dinged and dented. Why did you snag this? You're a fool, Van. Despite it all, Van slipped the watch onto his wrist, clipping it into place; he didn't have a watch and might as well wear it. Not like he could resell it.

Liana

She felt the room begin to shake as she knew the human put the watch on. A sly smirk landed on her lips as her eyes darkened 'Yes' she thought to herself as she suddenly was sucked out of the watch.

Outside the watch a small portal where the face of the watch was and something was pulled out basically like a genie. Liana landed in front of the human her new found owner as she stepped easily on the ground and opened her eyes seeing that her master was in fact a male. 'It usually almost always is' she thought to herself.

Blinking Liana looked him over for a second before she spoke "Hello" was the one word that came out of her voice and she prepared herself for the freak out since most of her owners would.

Van was not startled by much. How could he, living in Brighton Beach? But Liana...Liana was a new experience for him. Van took a step back from her, his hand dipping into the darkness within the soldat's coat and the gun holstered there. He ran his dark eyes up and down the "young" demon's body, assessing the girl. It was her voice I heard before. She must've seen me in store, but then, how did she get in front of me? His mind refused to acknowledge the fading glow of the portal before him.

"Who the hell are you? How did you get here?"

Liana

Liana looked right into his eyes after he asked one of the many familiar questions she was used to. "Hmm I thought you would be brighter than the rest" she said and shrugged her shoulders "Guess not" she sighed as she lazily lifted her one hand up and pointed her polished finger nail towards the watch "I came out of there" she told him.

Deciding to answer that question first she figured she shoulder answer his first question now. "And my name is Liana, believe or not I am a demon entrapped in that watch your wearing as a punishment only to come out when a human puts it on and to unfortunately serve them and only them" she said Lia bowed her head slightly and did a little curtsy as her head lifted to look at him again "Can I have your name or would you prefer to be old fashion and be called" she cleared her throat before finished "Master"

Van glanced around him uneasily. Is this some kind of joke? Is someone playing a prank? Gerogie, maybe? But no, he saw no friendly faces in the small crowd braving the dull sunlight. Not an particularly unfriendly ones, either. Then what is it? He was betting this "Liana" was some kind of a strumpet sent as some kind of a gift. Just play along; maybe some good will come of it. He half shrugged, his shoulders lifting the heavy material of his coat.

"I'm Van. Drop the title of 'master.'"

Only his mother called him "Ivan." When Liana pointed towards his new watch, he glanced at the dinged thing as well before shoving his hand deep into the pocket hiding the thing from sight.

"What do you mean, serve me?"

Liana

She stood up straight again clearing her throat for a moment. "I guess saying serve just doesn't make it as clear enough for you" she said sarcasm practically dripping out of her voice.

Heaving a breath in she began again "Helping you out, I pretty much have to listen to anything you tell me" she says "Whether you choose to have me doing petty chores, errands, pleasure, protection, helping you out anyway you could possibly think of" she said "Though" she paused and looked over his frame again "It seems you probably wouldn't use protection since if it's still like it was last time I was out, guys didn't like having a girl protect them"

Lia looked away and crossed her arms "Even though I created any object that would help protect themselves" she muttered under her breath, annoyance in her tone.
