The group did not take any breaks and walked through the night, the fire behind them giving anything in the Wasteland a distraction from them.
By morning, they would be at the subway.

Instantly, Alex gave up and stared at Rud wide eyed.
"...Right then." She coughed, limping away to catch up with the others.

Rud tilted his head for a moment before slowly going down on all fours, imitating a dog. His bark though, would put even a gunshot to shame...
