yeah, I was meaning the D&D version. The MPs wouldn't state that the subject is entering a room that had such a spell within it though. Let's go with the Zone of Truth, a biometrics chair (which sends data on temperature and rhythm changes to an observation booth), ...and a half-betazed. xd

actualy it would depend on what what set of D&D rules you used. in 3rd edition the rules i belive are interpreted as you are unable to lie within the zone, your able to avoid telling the truth to answers but if you try to lie you will just speak the truth. however it also depends upon the gm and if the gm wishes it the spell could make jellie beans spray out of your mouth if you try lieing.

This interrogator is a good one, so post in this thread any questions you think she should ask Mr. Highwind's terrorist. 3nodding If I can use them, I'll post them as additional questions she poses to him.

You said half betazed, but you didn't bother mentioning to me if she was Empathic, Telepathic, etc. wink
Because not all half betazed, at least in the Series, were Empathic. One was in fact a very powerful Telepath. And I presume there would be some without any abilities one way or the other.

AiLeen: am I free to use some of the fractured pieces of monolith left on the Edana, for research? That is to say can I use it to produce different materials?

i don't think monolith lost any of his skin. i think you just pounded him hard enough to give him a headach so bad it nocked him unconsiouse. that and when he slipped off the ship he slamed his tail like a spear into the armor and it got stuck so he was hanging upside down and the blood rushed to his head.

I'm specifically thinking Deanna Troi, so empathic is most correct. 3nodding

Monolith always loses fragments of his chitin in combat. It's actually a bit of how he can sustain so much insane damage, and it's what gives him that really craggy, stone-like look. Yes, you're welcome to examine the little bits, though it'll be tough to replicate. Sort of like how it took forever for science to create spider silk armor. There are three properties that will stand out about the material: it's organic, it's insanely heavy and dense for the volume it takes up, and it's extraordinarily efficient at dispersing energy.

if you can replicate it and armor a jet fighter with it, that fighter will be hard to take down but it will be heavy.... better idea is to make samurai armor for VTs with it. that the heavy armor that the battloids wear and they can't turn into guardian or fighter mode while wearing it.

hey aileen, I saw a great weapon that officers should carry. i saw it on an infomercial this morning. supostedly the retired head of the SD state police developed it. Its a very bright flashlight that has a trigger cover that when lifted turns on a red targeting laser and when the red button under the cover is pressed shoots a high pressure stream of pepper spray in liquid form. funny this is there advertised canisters for refills for it only last 5-6 seconds mabe 7 of usage. i belive for rp this could easily be increased to 20-30 seconds of fluid meaning 20-30 1 second shots

if he doesn't get locked up himself. mostlikely he is going to get questioned about why he wanted to interigate the prisoner.

Nifty little gadget, goldbrease. 5-7 is enough though, it's not like you're gonna squirt 30 people in an average day of patrolling or desk-jockeying.
